We promised you another Game of Thrones giveaway today (last week it was Tywin’s turn), and here it is- one of the most memorable villains to ever grace the show, King Joffrey. That’s right, the most sadistic infuriating bastard possibly ever could be yours.
The 8-inch sculpted figure (based closely on actor Jack Gleeson’s likeness) has been created with admirable detail, and will be a great addition to any fan’s collection. Joffrey is one of the newest characters added to Dark Horse‘s official line of Game of Thrones collectibles. Later this fall, we can look forward to Sansa, Jorah, and Brienne joining the collection as well.

With the leaking of the new season of Game of Thrones, it’s been widely speculated that HBO would change their screener procedures next year for the show to prevent another occurrence. As it turns out, all HBO programs are making a change, and quickly.
According to Variety, instead of mailing DVD episode screeners to journalists, the network is switching to a streaming-only model for all shows, beginning today with the release of their new episodes of Veep. Critics will have secure online access, reducing the risk of leaks and piracy.
The initial viewership numbers of the week are in. With 6.82 million pairs of eyes watching the first airing, the fourth episode of Game of Thrones S5 matched the performance of the second one, which constitutes a slight rise from last week. It looks like Game of Thrones won the night once more.
This week’s Game of Thrones written recap round-up brings slaughter, mayhem, and a special visit to the crypts of Winterfell in the bloody fourth episode “Sons of the Harpy.”
