Game of Thrones stars show off their singing talent for Red Nose Day

And now for something completely different, and thankfully much lighter!

Many of the stars of Game of Thrones have signed on for Red Nose Day, a comedic live benefit that airs on NBC, on Thursday May 21st at 8PM EDT.

Of the many promotional videos that have been released teasing the event, these two feature the cast.

Bowed, Bent, Broken

Ouch indeed.

It’s Twitter time, people. I’m dropping the usual bombastic fervor in respect for our favorite little bird. This episode ended with a decidedly Red Weddingesque pall cast over it. Anyway, y’all know the deal by now.

This may be longer than usual; it was hard to cut out some of the raw emotion, and removing the length of the reaction wouldn’t do it justice. It kept coming, wave after wave…

Game of Thrones: Post-Mortem of “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken”

The internet has basically exploded with the latest Game of Thrones episode, most of the discussion centered around the wedding of Sansa Stark and Ramsay Bolton, and the ugly scene that followed.

Sophie Turner talks about last night’s horrific finish with Entertainment Weekly, and says:

When I read that scene, I kinda loved it. I love the way Ramsay had Theon watching. It was all so messed up. It’s also so daunting for me to do it. I’ve been making [producer Bryan Cogman] feel so bad for writing that scene: “I can’t believe you’re doing this to me!” But I secretly loved it.
