And now for something completely different, and thankfully much lighter!
Many of the stars of Game of Thrones have signed on for Red Nose Day, a comedic live benefit that airs on NBC, on Thursday May 21st at 8PM EDT.
Of the many promotional videos that have been released teasing the event, these two feature the cast.

It’s Twitter time, people. I’m dropping the usual bombastic fervor in respect for our favorite little bird. This episode ended with a decidedly Red Weddingesque pall cast over it. Anyway, y’all know the deal by now.
This may be longer than usual; it was hard to cut out some of the raw emotion, and removing the length of the reaction wouldn’t do it justice. It kept coming, wave after wave…
Once more, the latest episode of Game of Thrones was the most viewed cable programme of the night. However, the viewership numbers have also once more fallen – 6.24 million have seen the initial airing. Still impressive by all means, but nothing like the premiere night with 8 million, or the 6.8 range of subsequent episodes.
It appears that we will be treated to a new episode in the Telltale’s Game of Thrones video game series during the airing of season five of the Game of Thrones TV series. Telltale Games have released screenshots from the latest installment, and while there is no official date yet, we can expect it any time now.
The internet has basically exploded with the latest Game of Thrones episode, most of the discussion centered around the wedding of Sansa Stark and Ramsay Bolton, and the ugly scene that followed.
Sophie Turner talks about last night’s horrific finish with Entertainment Weekly, and says:
When I read that scene, I kinda loved it. I love the way Ramsay had Theon watching. It was all so messed up. It’s also so daunting for me to do it. I’ve been making [producer Bryan Cogman] feel so bad for writing that scene: “I can’t believe you’re doing this to me!” But I secretly loved it.

Greetings from the shores of Dorne (or the Gulf, rather) where music and spirits are aplenty, but internet and cell service leave a lot to be desired. All technological services work well so long as the masses are asleep. Unfortunately, that doesn’t happen until around 3 a.m., well after the airing of the greatest tale on TV.

Tonight’s episode of Game of Thrones is sure to get people talking…and possibly screaming. With fewer stories in play, “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken” was streamlined into focus, but did that make for a stronger result? Check out my thoughts on tonight’s episode after the break.
