The time has come to celebrate the very best of Game of Thrones season 5, as chosen entirely by you, the fans!
How does it work? The initial suggestions for nominees in every category come from the fans, and run-off voting determines which top five win the final nomination in their category. (Best Episode is an exception- every episode will be in the final voting for this one.)
For a more detailed explanation of the process, jump to the Rules & Process below!
The categories are:
Best Episode
Best Actor
Best Actress
Best Supporting Actor
Best Supporting Actress
Best Guest Actor (This year we’re classifying this as an actor appearing in 2 episodes or less in Season 5, and no more than 10 episodes total for the entire series. Check the actor’s credits on IMDB if you’re uncertain.)
Best Guest Actress (again, 2 episodes or less in Season 5, and no more than 10 episodes total for the entire series.)
For scene categories, we have:
Best Death Scene for a Character
Best Visual Effects Scene
Best Action Scene (Be specific – example: simply stating “Hardhome” isn’t enough as that’s an episode title and also a combination of many action scenes!)
Best Comedic Scene (yeah yeah it’s not a comedy, but there are witty and funny scenes)
Best Dramatic Scene
Funniest Quote (clever one-liners and witty exchanges)
Best All-around Quote (almost anything goes, including speeches, though we draw the line at entire scenes)
The process is more or less the same as last year’s awards. Post your list of nominees in comments below, with the categories/nominees clearly labeled. You may submit more than one nominee per category in this initial submission process. Have fun and have your choices in by next Tuesday July 28th at 12PM Eastern Time!
For our newer readers, here is the complete run-down. #1 is especially important as it pertains to the nominating starting today!
