‘House of the Dragon’ spinoff casts major roles and announces Season 1 directors!

When I posted about the official confirmation that the Game of Thrones spinoff House of the Dragon would start production in 2021, I threw in a line about hoping for more HoTD news in the near future. Little did we know the Seven above would take that literally and hand down even bigger news about the series only a week later — including major roles being cast!

Enter to win the official A Song of Ice and Fire 2021 calendar!

This has been one hell of a year. So out with 2020, and onward and upward to 2021, we say! With that in mind, it’s time to roll out our newest Watchers worldwide giveaway, featuring the beautiful new edition of the official A Song of Ice and Fire calendar. This year’s calendar includes 13 illustrations (including a fold-out poster) of scenes from George R.R. Martin’s books, painted by artist Sam Hogg. A few images from the calendar were previewed back in July, so luckily we have a taste of what we’ll be seeing in the new year.

Check In: What are Game of Thrones Cast Members Up to in 2020?

When Game of Thrones ended in May 2019, I went into an underground bunker to mourn its loss, and didn’t come out for fresh supplies until this morning. Has anything happened in the months since I left? ….Oh…I see…hmmm…. Well – More time to hunker down and read the next book in A Song of Ice and Fire! When did The Winds of Winter come out? Surely, sometime in the last year? ….Oh…I see…..hmmm… Well, then it must be time to catch up with the one-time cast of Game of Thrones and see what they’re up to these days!
