Game of Thrones: The Exhibition Returns in 2015!

ExhibitionOne of the most exciting Game of Thrones events is returning in 2015- the Game of Thrones Exhibition!

The exhibition features costumes, props and other items offering a closer look at the production of the show, in addition to interactive activities for fans to enjoy. Last year, visitors tried the new 4D Oculus Rift virtual reality gear to “Ascend the Wall,” and the popular attraction will return in 2015.

This year the event has even more to offer, with photo stations placing fans within major moments from Thrones. There will also be an opportunity for every visitor to pledge their allegiance to a House before entering the exhibition.

Each year different cities are visited so a variety of fans can enjoy the exhibition. This year’s lucky cities are:  London, England; Stockholm, Sweden; Tel Aviv, Israel; Madrid, Spain; Berlin, Germany; Amsterdam, Netherlands; and Paris, France.

Game of Thrones: The Exhibition remains free as always. Some locations also host the HBO Shop with official Game of Thrones licensed collectible goodies for sale.

Young Cersei cast!

Nell WilliamsThe big news for Game of Thrones season 5 was that the show would finally be including at least one flashback, possibly as part of a dream.

Without revealing spoilers, the flashback involves Cersei and a friend of hers visiting with an older woman called Maggy the Frog.

Casting news has been hard to come by lately, but our sharp-eyed readers noticed a name added to the show’s IMDB credits. A quick visit to the actress’s agency resume has confirmed the casting, so it’s official: Nell Williams will be playing the role of young Cersei.

Williams was a regular on The Revolting World of Stanley Brown, the CBBC sitcom that starred Dean-Charles Chapman.

Kit Harington on the violence of Game of Thrones

Jon Snow and Karl

In a new interview with RadioTimes.com, Kit Harington speaks on a subject that often comes up: the high levels of violence present on Game of Thrones, considered gratuitous by some.

“I don’t see a problem with it because you mostly always feel the consequences of that person dying,” he tells RadioTimes. “In Thrones it’s war and awful, awful things happen, as we see on the news daily. And if we’ve got an appetite for watching these things on the news then you can’t shy away from it on cable drama.”

New details on Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s Game of Thrones role

AdewaleWhen news broke in October that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, star of Lost and HBO’s Oz, would be joining the cast of Game of Thrones, details were few and far between.

The initial release of information told us only that the actor would be playing “a character not in the books with the name ‘Malko.’”

Later interviews with Akinnuoye-Agbaje offered tantalizing hints as to what Malko might be up to in season 5, but no real concrete evidence. Earlier this month, the actor told Vulture, “The character that I play, it’s actually advantageous to me not to actually know too much. That’s all I’m going to say.”

Now, however, thanks to our sources, we’re able to reveal more about Malko, and a notable scene that features him in season 5.

MAJOR plot spoilers beneath the cut!
