Storify is making it weirder, I’m still trying to figure that part out, with the new stuff. Alas!
One issue that also keeps cropping up is the Slideshow auto-plays everything, so I have to avoid anything with sound or we all get this garbled mess immediately assaulting our ears.
But I’ll figure this out by uh… season’s end.
Regarding an empty Dragonstone… I did expect some people to be there, but after the fact I guess it shouldn’t be totally surprising. Stannis didn’t really appear to make it his home after all. It seemed like it was almost just an outpost or simply a giant camp for his army to hang out. We never did see “every day life” happening there like we have Winterfell or even Castle Black. When he left he needed ALL of his men, so he took all of his men. Since Stannis died the powers that be have been preoccupied with more important things than Dragonstone. The armies have been fighting and/or needed on the mainland… It feels like it wouldn’t be a priority to spread already depleted forces thin to man a giant castle.

I finally got around to watching some YouTube episode reaction videos last night (silly, but I enjoy some of them). Most people deduced that it was Arya as Walder but a few didn’t. I always love the ‘holy shit’ reactions. 🙂 Whether they knew or not everybody was pretty pumped after that open.
