In a new interview with the New York Times, Sophie Turner shares her thoughts on her scenes in the season premiere, and gives a peek at what Sansa Stark will be up to this year. On the moment when Sansa accept’s Brienne’s vow of loyalty, the actress says,

It felt like the first time since maybe Tyrion that someone has really been on her side and rooting for her — Littlefinger had questionable morals. So it was a really big deal for them to just swear to be good to each other, and for the first time Sansa believes it. She knows she has the power to start gathering people to help her on her journey.

Game of Thrones season 6 premiere hits new ratings high

Game of Thrones has reached a new ratings height with its season six premiere, as many fans were hoping and predicting.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the premiere racked up “nearly 8 million viewers during its 9 p.m. premiere telecast on Sunday. But, with two encores and initial streaming data from services HBO Go and HBO Now, the episode grows to a record 10.7 million viewers.”

HBO confirms two more Game of Thrones episode titles, releases descriptions

Hot off the season premiere, HBO has officially released to the press more information about two upcoming Game of Thrones episodes.

The second episode will be titled “Home,” and the third episode of the season will be called “Oathbreaker” as previously reported, unofficially.

Along with the titles comes official synopses and confirmation of which GoT writer will be handling which episode.
