Last week, we asked three questions following the events of “Home”. Some of you were right, some of you were wrong, and some of our shared theories have yet to be determined. Tomorrow, a podcast records part two of thoughts and feelings set in motion following “Oathbreaker”. Leading into next week, there are things that must be discussed.
After the cut you’ll find three questions we’ve asked ourselves, and will be disputing as the show records on Wednesday.
What do you believe?
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
Qyburn is at work. Cersei and Jaime are having significant trouble with the council.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
Men could follow Jon.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
How will Daenerys meet this new challenge? How will Jaario play into this?
That’s it. Let us know what and why in the comments below! (We’ll tally these together before recording) Make sure to listen for your thoughts, theories, and input once this episode is released.

honor
1. The Little Birds are eventually going to kill Kevan, just not sure what episode it will be in.
2. Jon is still at Castle Black. Sansa will arrive and Ramsay will send the Pink Letter saying that he has Rickon and that “Winterfell is mine, come and see.” Jon will give a Shield Hall speech and Wildlings will follow him. Jon is still at Castle Black at end of episode.
3. Dany will try to convince them to go to Westeros because they could pillage the villages and gain a lot of wealth, the Khals will laugh and refuse her. Some of the Widows try to help her. Drogon runs out of bubblegum and burns some of the Khals. Since Dothraki follow strength, some will follow her by end of the episode. Others will still refuse and it will take Dany a couple more episodes to persuade them.
1. I suppose they might be used for murdering Kevan and Pycelle at some point. However, I believe this will only happen after Jaime is out of KL.
2. No, I don’t think Jon left CB yet, and I do believe he and Sansa will meet next episode.
3. Tbh, no idea. I guess Drogon pays a visit soon?
1. The Little Birds are still working for Varys and will go all Dance with Dragon’s soon.
2. Jon is still at Castle Black – or at Mole Town. He still doesn’t have a plan or any where to go so there will be some introspective time. Sansa will arrive and help give Jon some purpose and direction. If they do not meet I will be pissed. I’m so sick of GRRRRRRRMartin’s near misses, along with D&D’s, along with foe Arya/woman on a plane mare stories. There is a lot of foreshadowing. Just get on with it all ready and pay it off.
3. The breaking of the wheel (house/temple).
Wyllis!
1. I think the Little Birds will remain loyal to Varys and will kill off members of the small council on Varys’ orders to stir up some shit in King’s Landing.
2. No, Jon is still looking for a purpose and that (I think) is where Sansa will come in. She’ll arrive at Castle Black and try and convince him to take Winterfell back from the Boltons. Jon will refuse, saying that it’s too dangerous but Ramsay will send a version of the pink letter to Jon, saying that he has Rickon. This will inspire Jon and Sansa to rally other northern houses and build up an army against the Boltons.
3. I think Jorah will use his connectoons with the Dothraki to infiltrate himself and Daario into the camp in an attempt to rescue Dany but she will insist on remaining where she is, for some noble reason or other.
1. The little birds will be sent to spy on the Council, esp. the Tyrells. Maybe they’ll kill the farting Pycelle.
2. I hope he hasn’t left. I would really love to see him reunite with Sansa next week, so that she can tell him all about her exes and Li’l Finger.
3. Daario and Jorah attempt a rescue of Daenerys. Drogon misses mommy and visits the Vaes.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
Ans : little birds will do same work as they did under varys ..but somehow this time they will have more direct role ….Their first job will be reporting sparrow plans….
….it will lead to sparrow vs Tyrells and lannisters. ….and later …They will report littlefingers plan …sandsnakes plan ….and probably every major house In westeros …..Jamie will be looking to strengthen lannisters hold and little birds will be the spy network that will help him …
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
I think he is trying to…He is trying to go to winterfell all by himself and finish the Boltons alone ….. ….but will quickly be brought back by Davos
he will be like” you know you can’t get winterfell alone …..We need an army .”Jon will be like
“I’m a bastard. ..who is gonna follow me ..into a battle..when I was lc I was someone yet only a few followed me to hardhome ..now I’m no one …just a bastard. ..again ”
and tormund will be like
” I followed you to hardhome I belive in ya …..We all do …We will follow you to any battle ……”
and Davos will be like not enough ….We need more men we need trained army ,,weapons ….We can’t beat the Boltons ….
sorry got carried away ……
3)What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
dany reciting her titles ……yet again ….
?…………….zzzzz?…………..,is she done yet …
okay …then she will try to convince these khals to join her …..to conquer the westeros ,,…While jorah and Mario try to rescue her. ..
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
they will find something to be used against Kevan and Pycell that will end with the show version of what happens with “little birds” in ADwD
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
No he is still at Castle Black. Based on pictures I dont think Team Jon leave CB until episode 5 after we (FINALLY) get our meme-tastic Stark Reunion this week 😀
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
dothraki gonna have an unannounced fire drill and very quickly become #TeamDany
(1) Qyburn may think he already have control of Varys little birds but the twist they are still working for Varys … hence “Men can be fickle, but birds I always trust”
(2) Jon will not leave Castle Black yet, the same way Mel and Davos are hanging around there. He might receive a raven message from Winterfell having Rickon hostage which will be his motivation for action
(3) No idea on how the Vaes Dothrak arc will play out. Attempted rescue by Jaario plus Drogon showing up perhaps
1- the Little birds will be the clean-up crew and will most likely gang-stab several troublesome people to death in KL. Pycelle, Kevan etc. They may even be used to try and take down Olenna.
2- Yes, Jon will be leaving Castle Black with the Wildlings, Davos, Brienne, and His COUSIN Sansa. I believe he may start assembling his army in the gift, the area of land just south of the wall, He may then go to seek the help of some of the northern houses previously loyal to the Starks (Lookin at you Mormonts). Jon is about to raise one of the baddest armies in the land, watch out enemies of Northern Justice.
3- For Dany to get out of this situation, as a character, she needs to accomplish this task on her own, It is time for her to be the Targ she is always bragging to be. No Drogon Ex Machina, no Super Daario Bros. rescue, just good ol’ fire and blood. Also hopefully Daario does something important, otherwise just kill him already…
1. Kill Kevan, Pycelle and maybe old man Tyrell….maybe Olenna…..
2. Yes, winterfell, battle of winterfell, then the wall falls and the battle for the dawn begins….
3. D wins them over and then meets up with Euron and they all head to Westeros on his ships…
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing? Qyburn is at work. Cersei and Jaime are having significant trouble with the council.
I think all the sugar birdies will uncover are more people making fun of Cersei, and I think Ser Gregbert Strongane will be causing more bodily harm, both with his bare hands and other murdery items. But they WILL be busy birds going to Stabbytown on *someone*, per freeze frames in the trailer. Cerise and Jaime are personas nongrata on the small council. I wonder how long until the entire remaining small council is dead?
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
He didn’t actually leave CB. He was just walking off after his mic drop, probably to get some damn ale. He’s gonna need a couple days minimum to get his shit together and make a plan, I’m sure none of the remaining NW brothers would begrudge him that. I hope this is when Sansa shows up, and it’ll be a bitter sweet reunion (rewatching the pilot, Jon and Sansa never spoke, and were never even in a scene together so I don’t even know how to imagine this whole thing going down), and he learns about Ramsey, and then “Winterfell is mine, come and see”, in whatever form it comes in. I think that will be enough fuel for Jon’s rage and revenge tank. He’ll ask Tormund to come with him, along with plenty of other wildings and Wun Wun, of course.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
How will Daenerys meet this new challenge? How will Jaario play into this?
They’re gonna put Dany on trial for truancy from the Vaes Dothrak home for widows.
I think Jaario will try to sneak into Vaes Dothrak and might get caught or into a confrontation, but Drogon saves Dany by burning the mothereffer down before they get a chance to save her. or something. I dunno.
1. Maybe they’ll kill Kevan and/or Pycelle but my first thought was that there was going to be something evil in Qyburn’s sugar plums
2. Jon, Davos, Mel, and Tormund will probably team up and try doing what Stannis was trying to do in ADWD
3. Stallion That Mounts The World prophecy might be reintroduced with Dany claiming herself or her dragons to be the stallion. Drogon will almost certainly roast some people.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
Varys has little birds everywhere. Even though he’s far away his network still buzzes. Even though they’re young, Qyburn will not have the control of them that he thinks he does. They may feed him false information that Varys feeds them.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
He obviously didn’t just walk out of Castle Black in his leathers and whistled for Ghost to follow. Davos, Mel, Tormund and Edd all have conversation with him. Jon will leave after that with some or all of them and eventually there won’t be a Castle Black to stay at anyway.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
I’ll use it two days in a row…. TORUK MAKTO!! There’s nothing like a silver haired woman mounted on a massive dragon to inspire allegiance! 🙂
1) Definitely think they still off Kevan and Pycelle, but whether it’s on Varys’ orders or Qyburn’s I don’t know. This doesn’t seem likely to end well for Qyburn or for Cersei.
2) Jon is still at Castle Black. He has nowhere to go yet, but obviously he’s going to leading men in the great end-of-season battle for Winterfell, just as Melisandre saw. She’ll be there, too, along with Davos, Tormund, Wun Wun, Sansa, and the Knights of the Vale, and whatever support they manage to gather in the north.
3) The preview shows Jorah getting into a fight with someone. I’m sure he’ll win the fight, but I don’t see him or Daario rescuing anyone. The temple is going to burn and Drogon is going to show up, but whether he does that or Daenerys does it herself, a whole bunch of Khals and Dosh Khaleen and are about to get roasted and she’s gonna walk out unscathed and become the Khaleesi of Khals, the Stallion Who Mounts The World. She’ll leave to take back Meereen with the largest Army she’s ever had, but she needs a new navy and a bigger one to carry them all, so some combination of Ironborn help and either sacking Volantis and taking their ships or the Volantenes just hand it over after Kinvara and whoever else leads a slave revolt in her name.
1) I think the little birds will ultimately put together a “hit list” of the enemies of Cersei. I believe the four members of the small council will be at the top of that list. Enter Ser Gregor…
2) I believe Jon is still at CB, he will meet Sansa this week. Their alliance will involve the wildlings and lead them to winterfell in the episodes to come.
3) who know what Dany will do. I’ve never figured her out. I assume she will rally what Dorhraki she can; and Drogon will handle the ” non-believers “.
I really wish they hadn’t played the Drogon rescue card in fighting pits.
Because now this is a second time they probably will tbh…
If they had left it like the books where she tamed and rode Drogon away to protect the city from him, then using DeusExDrogon would be more effective
Hope we see her do more than just be rescued by Drogon
Chris,
Hopefully this time she will actively summon him making a step forward with her Dragon lore skills. Then of course she will get to Moreen and find Tyrion already doing loop to loops.
More symbolism? Like her standing on a mound in front of the Dothraki and Drogon lands behind her while Viserion and Rhaegal land on either side. 😉
This is what I hope:
1) The kids in KL
They’re a bunch of geniuses who have duped Qyburn and are still working for Varys. Varys decided he still needs them for when Daenerys finally comes to Westeros, and will soon have them butcher Cersei (maybe poison her first) and keep the Iron Throne warm for Daenerys. Varys doesn’t hurt innocent children himself so he’s left Tommen….but waiting for Cersei to turn on him.
2) Did Jon leave CB?
Not yet. Cos he’s gonna need some mutton for his journey south. Next ep he’ll grab Ghost, mutton chops, Ser Davos and Mel, to be followed by Tormund and his crew and bump into Sansa along the way.
He knows of House Mormont being on the Stark side cos he’ll remember the letter Stannis showed him.
From there they’ll infiltrate WF, capture the Bolton bastard, skin him alive and then leave him to die. If Dany comes in time Drogon’ll burn him and every Bolton loyalist on Planet Earth…cos she’ll find out Jon’s her nephew and that the Starks are her in-laws…sorta.
Karstark will have his head lopped off just like his dad…and Umber will have his head chewed off by Summers when he finds out he beheaded his little bro Shaggy; just like their big bro Grey Wind bit his dad’s fingers.
The 3 remaining Stark direwolves will then eat their remains along with some Frey pie…
3) Vaes Dothrak
Duh. Trailers spoiled this sooooo bad. I mean who cares about Daenerys now that theyve already shown us Drogon flying over the Dothrakis in the desert….I honestly hoped Drogon clip frm trailers was gonna be in 1st episode…now it’s just 3 eps waste of her story knowing that she’s really in no danger at all!!! Yeah theyll probably have Jaario captured and then suddenly Drogon flies in …. whatever… I loved her story for 5 seasons!
1. little bird plays into qyburn’s plan : revenge and chaos and stuff. and i had feeling he’ll be the next douche
2. back to winterfell, learnt (a little bit) about everything. met sansa, war of bastard…
3. danny will go into the vaes dothrak, gain control and somewhat persuade the council to conquer kings landing. but, jorah and dario came. jorah with stoneskin causes plaque. and dario killed jorah for fu*k sake, because seriously dude??
1. Cersei is going to tell Qyburn to tell the little birds to kill Kevan and most likely Pycelle as well in order to bring her back into power.
2. Jon is no longer a member of the Night’s Watch but it isn’t as if he wandered off into the night after killing the traitors. He is probably planning on taking the wildlings south to the gift like he promised but Sansa’s arrival is going to give him. Different priorities (i.e. Winterfell)
3. Not sure of the timing of it but Dany is going to burn down Vaes Dothrak in a display of her power that will be so awe inspiring that all the Khals will pledge allegiance to her and she will take her new army to save mereen
4. What does it mean to be “no one”?
Does it mean you are exceptionally skilled at deceiving others and can maintain that deception for as long as it takes (but you can maintain your identity internally)? Or does it mean you lose/give up your identity altogether?
If Jaqen knew Arya threw her coin in the water he surely knows about Needle. Is he making her commit to being “no one” to make sure she can maintain a facade when on a mission? Also, is Jaqen going to release to to kill the people on her list? After he helped her escape Harrenhal he said “a girl has many names on her lips to offer to the red God” (from memory but close). That quote and Jaqen’s ability to know so much about what is happening around him suggests he has some sort of grand plan for Arya.
A man is not sorry for adding a question to the list. The many-faced god made a man do it. A man swears.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
Birds are taking out Kevan and Pycelle, potentially some of the faith militant as well. Once Jamie leaves for the Riverlands, Cersei is not going to have anyone rational by her side and she’s going to go full apeshit and give Qyburn the same free rein she gave the High Sparrow, and we all know how well that turned out for her. It is possible the birds are still working for Varys, and that Qyburn will get it as well. This could lead to Varys and Olenna hooking up and planning to put Dany on the Iron Throne, after Tommen dies because of something dumb Cersei did. Olenna will want to marry one of her grandsons to Dany.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
He did not leave yet. He will be reunited with Sansa. They will hear of Rickon’s capture and the betrayal by the Umbers. I am not sure if Jon goes to Bear Island with Sansa and Davos. If not, perhaps he travels to White Harbor?
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Burn baby burn, Dothraki inferno. Those remaining will join Dany and head to Meereen with her to take back the city.
Were Jorah and Daario fighting Dothraki is Vaes Dothrak in the trailer?
Because the Dothraki are forbidden from spilling blood in their holy city… Thats why Viserys was killed with molten gold
I failed terribly last time… i’ll try to fail bette this time, so….
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
Not much, I suppose. They will serve as a filler until they do what they did in ADwD… my guts tell me the victim should be different though, I mean those candied plums must be in short supply…
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
He is there or nearby dealing with his identity crisis (should I wear green now? is a man-bun the right choice for a style-conscoius man?). He will meet Sansa, receive pink-ish letter etc.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Fillers, fillers, fillers and Jaario peeking from behind bushes.
1. The Little Birds birds at all. They are the Children of the Corn. Davos says the dead are coming? The dead will run from the Children.
2. Jon has gone to the closest mall to apply for a job at Hot Topic where someone might understand his pain and he can get paid for moping.
3. The Dothraki will all foolishly drink the water and suffer the Pale Mare’s Revenge.
My thoughts in brief:
They may do some dirty work for Qyburn but I am of the opinion that the birds are still working for Varys, they will report to him and fuck shit up in KL. This will be a big reveal at the end of the season.
I’m going to be disappointed if they do another Stark bypass. He has nowhere to go except to the Wildlings. I see him hanging around and finding a purpose when Sansa arrives if they let that happen. Alas I think that any men (including 999LC Edd) still in the Nights Watch are dead men walking.
I hope it’s not a boring rescue. I hope that she does it all with the aid of Drogon and Jaario but at her own agency and takes it with fire and blood.
Then the Dothraki left over cut their braids off and follow her to Westeros (via Meereen unfortunately).
1 – Is the female dwarf among the Little Birds meant to be the TV version of Penny from the novels?
2 – Is that really Shaggydog’s head or are the Umbers going to betray Ramsay Bolton, in a crossup of the Manderlys from the novels, and Mance and his spearswives infiltrating Winterfell (Osha in this case)
3 – Given the extreme condensation of Meereen’s internal politics in the TV version (which I think was actually streamlined quite well)….who do you think “the Harpy” is in the TV version? The leader of the Sons of the Harpy?
http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/The_Harpy
They hinted at this in the prior episode and now this episode “Oathbreaker” very strongly focused on asking who the leader is.
In the novels there were many candidates who simply haven’t been introduced.
There are basically three options:
1 – The former Great Master aristocratic families who openly hate Daenerys (the House of Pahl, their champion got killed in the show). I think this is too obvious.
2 – The weaker slave families who are most friendly to Daenerys’s new rule because it allows them to gain power (like the Tyrells) — in the books this is people like the Shavepate and the High Priestess of the Graces, Galazza Galare. Possibly trying to dupe Daenerys into killing off the stronger families like the House of Pahl? Many thought it was Hizdahr in the novels, but he died in the show.
3 – One of the freedmen that rose in power because, like Mossador, they don’t want any peace with the former slavemasters but want to force Daenerys to kill them all down to the last child. Thus the leader is secretly a freedman who is duping the Harpies into making pointless attacks as a provocation.
I personally think its the third option, the freedmen….but WHO could it be in the TV version? Someone not introduced yet?
My bet is that Kinvara will turn out to be the leader, that they’re moving it around a bit in the TV show so that the Red Priests would be siding with the Freedmen the most, given that they don’t believe in slavery. But I’m not sure. Some thought it might be Varys but he wouldn’t have gone through that routine with Vala if he was.
1. The little birds will……never mind……..the Starks get fucked over…….again.
2. Jon will……..never mind………. the Starks get fucked over…….again.
3. Dany will get Drogon to…..never mind….Whatever happens, the Starks get fucked over…….
AGAIN.
The Little Birds will bring the news to Cersei a younger more beautiful Queen is here : Sansa
I still find it fun to think Bran might be both the three eyed even but also many of the other variations of the brandon’s names throughout history.. probably wrong after I was responded to before.. but I think it could happen! .. they are playing up his powers.. an they are playing up the power he can influence the past since his voice was heard by Ned which resulted in the bloodraven pulling him out immediately ..
I still like the theory that Bran might have gone back and stayed too long and got stuck in the past as the raven warned would happen.. I think it’s possible the three eyed crow/raven could be Bran himself… they even have Bran in dark clothing.. he’s not wearing what I remember ( I could be wrong ) as northern clothing.. it’s black leather much like Jon was wearing when he took off his fur .. and Bryinden ( the three eyed crow/raven ) would wear as lord commander.. as he once was.. They also sport similar hair cuts…
I think this theory has some roots… someone talked about how there couldn’t just be many Bran’s appearing without their parents noticing.. of course not.. they would be trying to appear strategically and often off the grid.. most of them appeared as loners.. and most appeared with alot of magic… not saying all did .. but if you can toy with time and you can warg.. you can do and be whatever you want…
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
I feel like they are still waiting for Varys to come back. Not sure we are going to see anything with them right away. Maybe the following week.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
Not yet. He just went for a brisk walk to clear his head. He doesn’t have a coat on and Ghost isn’t with him. He’ll be there when the Sansa Squad arrives. They may get the notice from Ramsay about Rickon (the “Winterfell is mine…come and see message) this week. They’ll start putting a plan in place to retake their home.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Daeny starts to make new friends this week…like the young widow. She starts putting ideas in their heads that they don’t have to live out their lives in this way. Probably some set-up regarding the big pow-wow and the Khals’ deciding her fate. No dragons yet. Jaario get there and start some recon. Possibly get captured.
1. Maybe Varys will use the little birds from afar to pit the Lannisters and the Small Council against each other even more, by revealing secrets to both sides.
2. I can’t think of anywhere reasonable for him to go really. Maybe he could take up residence in one of the other Nights Watch fortresses that aren’t in use? Either way, he should be close enough and working for the same goal so he will meet up with Sansa soon and they will mastermind the demise of Ramsay after finding out about Rickon.
3. It seemed like the other widows used to be strong, ambitious women in their better days. Maybe Dany can convince them that traditions aren’t worth it and they should join her cause to win their own glory. It would be badass if Dany got some female bloodriders. F the Dothraki patriarchy am I right?
I try not to overthink this, so my guess is that Sansa meets Jon in Ep4. The capture of Rickon will incite the Pink Letter, and Jon, still guilt ridden over not answering the call to avenge Ned or Robb, now is free to redeem himself and save Rickon. Much rallying of the Mormonts and the Manderlys for the war in Ep 9.
O/T, but has anyone heard of this fan theory about Bran? Any thoughts? Is it just too nuts?
https://www.buzzfeed.com/andyneuenschwander/this-game-of-thrones-fan-theory-about-bran-could-change-ever?utm_term=.djLkqQVq6#.spYW6EK6Z
I am glad we are finally getting to the portion of the season where our vision is becoming truly limited. Up until now, we’ve mosty known the content of each episode (Dorne excepted), but its getting a lot harder to guess what is going to happen each week from here on out. For the record, I think the little birds are still working for Varys and will kill Qyburn. Kevan and Pycelle will also die, but not necessarily by their hands. Jon is still around CB, and will meet Sansa there. We will probably get a pink letter type scenario, which prompts Jon’s next move. As for Dany, Drogon burns and she rules, eventually. But they have to drag it out a bit more to get the timing to match up.
I think…
1. The Little Birds will stay loyal to Varys, using Pycell for what they can get, but waiting for Varys to return.
2. I hope not, but fear he will once again miss sighting his sibling next episode.
3. DROGON and friends, they are unchained and may respond to her “call” this time
Question. Was “Oathbreaker” mentioned in the episode? Like the title normaly is by someone, I am afraid I missed who says it if it was….
1. Cercei and Qyburn will have control of the little birds in Kings landing and will be the ones to order them to help get rid of ser kevan and pycelle in order to regain power.
2. Jon will receive the pink letter, Sansa will meet him at the wall where they will plan their next move. Jon will rally the mountain clans and the wildings and Sansa will travel with ser davos to bear island.
3. Daenarys will be judged by the dothraki and things will not be looking good. Ser Jorah and daario will attempt a rescue to no avail and just as things are looking hopeless, drogon will swoop on vaas dothrak to save her
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
I believe as others that the Little Birds, Inc. are still in the employ of Varys feeding him information and perhaps to carry out some missions. Their attachment to Qyburn I have no doubt is part of Vary’s plan. I can see the Pycell/Kevan death plots tied into this.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
I can’t see D&D pulling a “just missed him” on Sansa so I think they meet at Castle Black. Conveniently a notification from Ramsey arrives declaring his badassery and self love for all to see not to mention the whole Rickon thing.
– Jon et all decide this ain’t cool and need to rescue Rickon and regain Winterfell.
– Brief family discussion on how and when to tell Ghost about Shaggydog.
– Jon breaks the group up and sends Davos & Sansa to gather Northern support-I’m guessing with Brienne as Davos is not a fighter and he can’t be expected to apologize for what we are about to see all the way to the Mormounts.
Jon gathers with Tormound to convince Wildings to follow him, which they will cuz he is a God now. Mel goes with Jon as she’s seen this play before but this time dammit she’s walking those effin battlements of Winterfell.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
In the preview is that Jorah and Daario fighting each other or am I taking crazy pills?
I had a thought seeing Daeny with all the Khals and those buckets of flames nearby. She tries her Diva List one more time, still doesn’t work so she pushes over the brazers lighting the hut (?) on fire, killing the Khals and walking out unscathed.
Drogon pulls up and is suitably impressed moms handled her buisiness but doesn’t show it cuz he is a little pissed she stepped on his fire game. Teenagers, they’re sensitive.
Little birds:
There was a look in Qyburn’s eye after Cersei gave her speech about having little birds everywhere that made me think he has some scheme on the go we don’t know about. No idea what. It seemed also like an easy set up for the KL folks to discuss what’s happening elswhere like Roose’s death etc.
Jon
We are clearly primed for a show version of the pink letter. Jon is still at CB and between them Sansa, Davos and Mel will give him a push along. I’m feeling a bit nervous at the thought of Brienne, Jon, Davos and Mel being in the same room with the ghosts of Stannis and Renly looking on. I hope Brienne keeps quiet about killing Stannis.
Dany
Like others have said she needs to be smart and impressive on her own without Drogon, Jorah and Daario saving the day.
You’re right. It would be nice to see some dothraki girl-power. And that would be a true “breaking the wheel” thing.
I really like this idea. Although I feel that she will be able to inspire (or Drogon does) all Dothraki to follow/join her.
I’m praying there is a Dothraki healer that has a home remedy for Greyscale so lovely Jorah can be well. I have strong Jorah dies at any point denial happening here.
Lonald,
So an echo? Pretty interesting theory Bran possibly reliving the same story just in a different time period especially with the parallels in the story…. I think I like this theory!
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
I think they’re taking Q’s candy and his help, but I can’t help feeling they’re still loyal to Varys. I think they might kill Pycelle, will probably kill Qyburn, but first they may pass on exactly the right info to drive Cersei totally over the edge. Because that’s what Varys wants. Kevan…I don’t know. The way he acts around Cersei makes me feel like she’ll want to have more of a hand in his death, even actually be present, but I could be wrong.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go? He’s not gone yet. It would take a few days to even decide where to go from here and I think Team White as Snow (Davos, Brienne, Jon, Pod, Sansa) will gather first at CB for a short but awesome reunion and then Ramsay will send a letter with his terms and possibly a piece of skin, which will give Jon a direction-since last episode he didn’t know why he’d come back. Then they’ll go assemble their Avengers to finally, hopefully, end Ramsay for good.
Most if not all the wildlings will go with King Crow. The NW has ten people left so I think someone will have to stay to keep an eye out for that zombie horde. Poor Edd.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
I really like the idea of the women rallying around her and leading, but I’m pretty sure some insults, some alliances, and some dragon fire is next.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
Spy on small council, potentially emulating that final chapter from “Dance”. Will they also try to spy on the faith militant?
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
Rally the wildlings behind him. Make a plan with Sansa to unite the north and get rid of Ramsay.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Dany will rally the dosh khaleen behind her. Jorah and Daario try to understand what will happen to her by abducting some dothraki?
1. I agree that the little birds will “emulate” the final chapter in Dance, as seen in a certain scene in the trailer.
2. Jon will sit in a dark room brooding, neither Mel’s “Prince who was Promised!” ramblings or Davos’ pep talks will rouse him out of his mood, that is, until Sansa shows up at the Wall in episode 4, they have an emotional reunion, and Ramsey sends his Pink Letter demanding Sansa, Reek, and saying he has Rickon as hostage. Sansa, Jon, Davos, Mel and company ride out of Castle Black on episode 5 (there’s a photo of Mel riding out from the HBO official photographs) and as Jon meets his destiny, we have the rest of the TOJ flashback (also episode 5.)
3. Drogon shows up, burns things, Danny survives the burning, rides Drogon, and the Dosh Khaleen proclaim the Danny/Drogon combo “The Stallion Who will Mount the World” and they tell the khalasars that they need to unite behind Danny. The Khals that object to this plan will be burned or eaten by Drogon. (I’m pretty sure that Danny’s Winds of Winter plot will be fairly similar to this as well.)
Daario and Jorah, well they’ll be fairly jealous when it’s made fairly clear that Drogon is really Danny’s #1 Guy, not them, and that their plan to “rescue” Danny wasn’t needed after all. LOL.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
They’ll work for Qyburn…until they don’t.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
Nope, still there, with some rather weighty thoughts to occupy his mind. He’ll probably get word that Rickon’s Ramsay’s prisoner soon. Ramsay seems kinda obsessed with facing Jon. It’s the crazy in him.
When Jon leaves, it’ll be with an army of Northmen and Freefolk; Sansa will rally the Northmen, Jon…well, Tormund did say the Freefolk think he’s a god…
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
No idea. I’m quite intrigued by this part of the story. Jorah and Daario are at least close to Vaes Dothrak, if the preview is any indication, so, the noodles are boilin’, as the old folks used to say…
WildlingKing,
They did not show CB in the previews for coming episode except for a door opening which is probably there. Do you think they’re leaving Jon out to make room for the boring dragon mom? Gawd I hope not.
My predictions must have been spot on or something
1. I think it was important that Varys mentioned in the same episode that he always trusts his birds. They might kill Kevan for Mr. Necromancer though, because in the show it is not that evident that Kevan is doing a too good job in sorting a KL mess. So it probably will go like Cercei tells Qyburn like “omg, kiel my uncle naw”, and birds do the job. It could happen later, when Varys arrives back to KL, but somehow I think it will play out in the next episode, they are running low on the people to kill. 🙂
2. Jon still has to go through the whole gather the army kind of thing. From the show perspective he has no reason yet to go and attack Winterfel, since the Stannis line already has played out and he knows nothing about Sansa. I think Sansa will either move back towards the Vale, because she needs to be there for the book plots to play off, which probably will take some of the Littlefingers persuasion, or she will go to Castle Black and say like omg help and then Littlefinger will arrive at some point with the Vale knights. What I think is more likely, Jon gets a pink letter about Rickon, goes to save him with the wildlings and Rickon gets a bunch of merged character lines, which have some of the plot importance, like Manderly, wherever Davos went to in the books, etc. Personally the direwolf head in the last episode reminded me of the whole Davos thing in the books, but we will see how that plays out.
3. If Drogon or magic duo saves Danny, it would be really lame. Her problem is that she cannot control her dragon, my wild guess would be that dothraki pillaged a dragon horn from somewhere and tadaa, she can ride her dragon. Then well, if you fry all the khans, you got an army. In the books there was one dragon horn going to Mereen, and another one possibly at the wall (the one they found with the daggers?), so if it is the only way to control the dragon, can be logical that third one for Danny is in whatever dothraki temple.
1. Little birds in KL
Kevan and Pycelle’s days are numbered. If these birds are still loyal to Varys, maybe Qyburn gets it as well, in his own lab. No idea if they have any other purpose this season.
2. Will Jon leave CB
Nope, not for now at least. We know Mel is at CB till ep 5, and there is no way either she or Davos are letting Jon go off alone anywhere. He will meet with his cousin Sansa, and after getting the PL from Ramsey (and some pep talk by Sansa?) , they will march out of CB in ep 5 to rally the more loyal northmen (Bear Island, here they come!). Rallying the Wildlings should not take much time, considering Jon is their “God” now. And we get the sweetest revenge in the story so far (unless RW2 happens this season too). Also, hopefully we see the last of Ramsey in ep 10.
Dany at VD
There is a meeting of all the Khals and Dany is brought before them to face judgement. While they make up their mind, in the meantime, we get some rape-y and sexist “jokes” as Dany looks on like she is just biding her time. The tent where the meeting takes place is definitely burning and all the Khals inside it. I think Dany herself starts the fire knowing that this is the perfect opportunity to take down all the Khals at one go. I feel it could go two ways. Either she starts a fire from the braziers burning around her or she somehow senses/ realizes that Drogon is around and goes “Dracarys”. She walks out of the flames unhurt as all the other Khals burn around her and seeing this the remaining Dothraki bow their heads to her (Its Dany after all, there always will be people bowing to her 🙂 ) Of course, somehow Khal Moro will survive this. No idea what Jorah and Daario end up doing here.
1. The Little Birds: I think they will be sent to infiltrate the High Sparrows little cult and find some dirt on him.
2. Jon is still at CB and Sansa and Jon will get their ‘pink letter’ from Ramsey. Jon is the one that also knows that the Mormonts only recognize the Starks as leaders of the North(from last season) so he will ask Sansa to go there and get their support. He will work on the wildings.
3. Dany is lost and so is her plot line……..So probably more titles and claims and chest thumping from the Dothraki. Posers 101. Her boys will be caught trying to rescue her. It past time to get the dragons involved please!
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
I think (hope?) they go after the Faith Militant. Aren’t they the real enemy now? At least the most threatening one at the moment. With Tomman as king, can’t he simply replace members of the kings council, or does he have to come of age first? If the latter, then yes I agree, Kevan will go soon and the little birds will have something to do with it.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
I’m with others…another near miss would just about drive me over the edge. It’s time for all of the side stories to start merging again, and what better place to start? I’m hopeful for a reunion, followed by a sojourn to Winterfell to free Rickon.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
I think whatever happens next focuses closely on Khal Moro. He clearly digs Dany. Either he kills Daario and – although its against the rules – claims her and decides to help her conquer OR she kills him and the rest decide to follow her. Either way, I think he’s central to her future, as hinted in the “Dany meets her future” episode descriptor.
1. What is the plan for the little birds?
The birds will gather rumours and finally do what they did in the books – kill Kevan and Pycelle. Those killings could be ordered either by Cersei / Qyburn or by Varys – they lie in both parties’ interests (with Varys planning long-term, and Cersei looking only to her short-term advantages which will be her disadvantage later on). I tend to believe they act on Varys’ orders, and they might finally also kill Qyburn.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black?
No, he didn’t yet. Brienne and Sansa will arrive before he does and bring news on his family; the postman will bring a letter from Ramsay (“come and see”); and tension will explode between Brienne, Melisandre and Davos.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
The Dothraki are preparing for their big gathering of Khals. We’ll finally see the scene of Daenerys touching the glowing brazier in front of all the Khals, thus proving her identity as The Unburnt and Mother of Dragons, and all will bow to her and her children.
After all is settled, Daario (and maybe Jorah, if he’s still alive) will arrive just in time to look admiringly at their dragon queen: “Blood of My Blood”.
Finally, they will burn the temple symbolically, because all Dothraki hordes now leave Vaes Dothrak forever and follow Daenerys – first to Meereen and then to Westeros.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
I think they will spy for Qyburn AND Varys and we get our ADWD Ending. Somehow. I also think that Varys will leave Mereen somehow. Maybe with that ship to Dorne. Still think Dorne will ally with Dany and Varys will fix that.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
No. Hes hanging around, looking for something to do. Like listening to Sansas Horror Stories, getting Letters and plans to rescue Rickon.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Fire. I think Dany is about to get punished by the Khals, they will mock her, Drogon showing, she´ll get burned (or unburned) a second time and ride back to Mereen with her new Dothraki Friends.
Lil Birds
they will kill at Qyburns will, so Kevan + Pycelle are goners. After that they might finish Qyburn for Varys after Varys might return. My guess is that without Qyburn Frankenmountain gets out of controll and on a rampage resulting in the downfall of Cersai and Tommen.
Jon leaving Castle Black
yeah, Jon might leave. My guess is that his loyal brothers will follow like in the very beginning and try to convince him to come back, cause he always does. In the meantime Sansa will arrive and leave for the Vale sending Brianne on a mission. No Stark reunion outside Winterfell!
Vaes Dothrak?
the khals will humilate Daeny and kill Jorah & maybe Daario, too. When they get ready for a gang rape drogon will pay it a visit and all the khaleesi will go like “I told you to plunder fireproof tents”. Will Daeny go to Westeros? Maybe, but not this season. Maybe she borrows Tyrion one of the small dragons and he just flies back.
I like these discussion articles
1. Varys little birds are interesting, Qyburn can set up his own network but there is risk in adopting Varys’s network, eg it could be compromised, or still compromised by Varys. I suspect the Little Birds could be Qyburns undoing
2. His natural instinct will be to live with the “Free Folk”/Wildlings. I reckon though Sansa’s arrival and perhaps a Pink Letter about Rickon instead of fArya will change things, Davos will get in his ear and then they as a team (including Mel) will begin marshalling Northern Lords against Boltons/Karstarks
Not sure what to call this team, a mix of Stark, Wildlings and Stannis, what a fascinating mix
3. Next for Vaes Dothrak, Khal Morro will advocate Dany be part of DK in honour of tradition, some other jerk will come along and want to kill her out of suspicion – this is all in keeping with a theme about tradition vs new rules
Reckon Dany will seize power for herself via Drogon, in keeping with “bastard power”, Dany isn’t a bastard but a Khaleesi presiding directly over a Khal instead of becoming part of the Dosh Khaleen is as outlandish in accordance with their tradition as the idea of non-trueborn people taking power
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
I think the little birds will go all ADWD on Kevan and Pycelle. They may be the ones that report back that Margery is about to confess her sins.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
Jon did not leave, he just walked off. There was no indication he left and he certainly wouldn’t leave Ghost behind. If he has left by Sunday’s episode it would again be a near miss for the Starks and I don’t think that will happen. I do believe that he will be suffering from confusion and what he should do next. He believes he failed in his previous endeavors. I do believe that Sansa will see him (wishful thinking?) and the pink letter will arrive. I really want to see, “Winterfell is mine come and see.” I think Rickon being his hostage will be the final motivation for him to follow Sansa and rally the Northern houses.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Dany has to stand trial for her truancy. I think knowing where she would have been taken that Daario and Jorah will head in that direction. I’m not sure that Drogon will go all fighting pits yet, but maybe this is where we see him fly overhead, as in the sneak peek. This is could give pause to the Khal’s and perhaps they will be torn by whether to allow her to stay or leave.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
They are probably still working for Varys and will work on destabilizing the kingdom. Perhaps they will uncover something in the Riverlands.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
He’s still there brooding and chilling. He will probably focus on taking Winterfell when Sansa arrives and gather forces to fight the WW.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Daario brothers get caught trying to rescue Princess Peach. Drogon Ex-Machina.
1) not all that interested in little birds, big birds yes, but not little birds
3) i dunno about the dothraki, the way i see it, they wont wanna go any further than dorne or they’ll freeze their nuts off
i saved 2 for last cuz
2) I wouldnt be surprised if jon goes north looking for his lil bro, and takes some fire on a rope with him….just in case ya know?
Art looks like how I’d pictured Robb Stark from GRRMs first book.
Titles for EP 6 and 7 are out. “Blood of my blood” and “The broken man.”
First one makes me think of Jorah saying it to Daenerys after she birthed the dragons I believe. 2nd title makes me think the Hound return or Thoros but I’m probably wrong.
Ran out of time. I wish the 6th episode title stands for Jon finding out Ned is not his father but is “blood of his blood.” I hope we have rest of TOJ this Sunday and it would be nice to have Jon also find this out soon. But something tells me we wont’ get much of CB in the coming episode. There wasn’t much focus there in the preview.
ygritte,
Yesss! Would like to know what became of the Hound. 😀
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
I think it will be less what they can uncover and more what they will do. Killing Pycelle & Kevan seems reasonable to expect, but I wonder if Olenna is in trouble? The High Sparrow? I could also see them reporting back on Riverrun and/or the situation up north.
Loras remains the biggest KL question for me. Could the little birds be used to murder him, thus giving Cersei justification for storming the Sept?
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
Yes, Jon’s out of there. I could see him remaining for a bit to gather his thoughts and those loyal to him (Tormund, the Wildlings, Davos & Mel). I think he’ll set up camp somewhere, perhaps the Gift, and send emissaries to northern lordly Houses. Davos will be one of them; Mel’s role unknown. Jon may go himself or remain with the Wildlings to oversee potential training. He must know that they lack organisation and skill at arms.
I would love him to meet up with Sansa before he leaves CB so they can plan together, but have a suspicion it’ll be a near miss (writer’s rationale: to give a later reunion a greater payoff). Perhaps Sansa departs CB and runs into Littlefinger, who’s then sent to the Vale to produce the troops he promised.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Dany convinces some or all of the Dosh Khaleen to follow her. Some of the younger members are probably rearing for a change. Drogon makes an appearance and convinces the rest, either through terrifying them into submission or burning them such that they will no longer present a problem. With the Dosh Khaleen supporting her, the traditionalist Khal who brought her to Vaes Dothrak becomes her ally and pledges his horde to her cause.
Jorah & Daario infiltrate and are captured. I think Daario’s a dead man. The greyscale suggests Jorah has a larger role to play.
GRRM uploaded a new Arianne chapter at his website.
http://www.georgerrmartin.com/excerpt-from-the-winds-of-winter/
JoffreyTrueKing,
Of all the characters….
1. Don’t know what those kids will be up to, but I’d like to say that if candy is the price for their whispers, then anyone can buy their loyalty. Kind of disappointed with this, as it cheapens the whole concept of the little birds.
2. Jon didn’t leave, he wasn’t walking towards the gate. He will be preparing to leave though, but I’m sure Brienne & Sansa will be at the gate before that happens.
3. Clearly we’re getting Daario’s & Jorah’s rescue attempt this episode. Maybe also some Drogon action? Something tells me that it’s happening.
Mihnea,
Anyway, I’m just glad I get to hang out with the original Dorne storyline once again, after all that butchering. Probably this is why he uploaded this chapter.
JoffreyTrueKing,
It isn’t a new chapter.
Martin read this at a convention years ago.
JoffreyTrueKing,
Yeah. This actually makes me love the show version even more…
And confirms that Martin didn’t learn anything from AFFC/ADWD.
The writing is still just as bad..
JoffreyTrueKing,
Lmao, it’s almost as if he’s like: “Damn, I’m falling behind again, best release a totally new chapter (not) to keep fans satisfied for another couple of months.”
Mihnea,
That’s what I noticed. Haha.
dragonmcmx,
It’s not new at all. He first read it years ago.
Mihnea,
I know, that’s why I added the ironic “totally” and the obvious “(not)”.
Oh joy…..
dragonmcmx,
Damn, didn’t saw. LOL.
Wimsey,
You must be happy Wimsey. I remember you loved Arianne’s chapters… 🙂
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
It will be Standup Philosophy Night at the Equus Temple/Theater, featuring a debate on The Nature of Beauty and a Discussion of the 5 Most Beautiful Events in a Dothraki Man’s Life.
If the Ents ever learned that trees were being slaughtered to hold the ink with Arriane’s stuff, then they would make Isengard look like a wrist-slapping.
Seriously, if Winter ever comes out, I am going to skip the Arriane chapters. $5 says that they will have no influence on the plot that I won’t glean from other chapters, and another $10 says that they will make no contribution to the story that other characters do not make better.
Wimsey,
Well for this chapter, at least, you are right.
It’s pointless and goes nowhere.
1. What is the plan for the little birds?
I think (hope) that they are still working for Varys and just stringing Qyburn along. Of course anything could happen but what would their motive be for turning cloak on Varys and side with the Lannisters, who must surely be his enemies? However, who knows? There are several possibilities here and we haven’t seen signs yet that the Lannisters will be defeated anytime soon or at all.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
I don’t think he will leave yet because he is still unsteady on his feet after the resurrection. I believe Mel will speak with him about her new idea that he could be the Prince that was Promised and she might even show him what she sees in the flames. She may also try to heal his wounds and make him stronger. By that time Sansa, Brienne and Pod should arrive at Castle Black and also Ramsay’s letter about having Rickon at Winterfell. Then Jon will take the Wildlings and proceed to his home. He and Sansa don’t have to attack it from outside because they both know the secret passages down into the crypts where they can infiltrate from inside the walls. Here’s hoping they can save Rickon and Osha in time before Ramsay does them any harm. I know we’ve seen photos of Ramsay leading an army but that could happen in Episode 9 which is the usual time for a big battle to occur. I think once Jon & Co. rescue Rickon and Osha they will escape Winterfell the same way they went in.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
With Drogon’s help I think Jorah and Daario will come to Dany’s aid. She may convince the Dothraki army to follow her back to Meereen to add to her other forces.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
Maybe they’ll find the two sand snakes hiding somewhere. And they will murder someone (as seen in the season trailer), probably Pycelle and Kevan.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
I think he’s packing his stuff and then leaving for the wildling camp.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Drogon comes and saves the day.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
I think Varys will still be the one who gives the little birds to kill Kevan. Cersei will think that Qyburn has given the order as she has witnessed Qyburn instructing the little birds and so thinks Qyburn is conspiring against her on behalf of Tyrells to remove all Lannister influence from the Small Council. Tyrells know that it was not them who conspired to murder Kevan and so think the opposite in that Cersei is trying to remove Kevan to reinstate herself or someone of her choosing on the council. This will cut off Cersei’s only power source / reliable source as she will then mistrust Qyburn which will probably lead to self-destruction.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
No not straight away. I think Jon will learn of Sansa’s marriage to Ramsay and escape from Winterfell before he leaves or shortly after and set out to find her – or Sansa makes it to CB before he goes. Sansa and Jon will reunite anyway and Jon will find out of survival of Bran and Rickon. Pink Letter then comes from Ramsay and Jon / Wildlings / Sansa march on Winterfell to free Rickon – which will probably end unsuccessfully. Think before they march on Winterfell Davos is going to go off and do some recruiting in other Northern houses to try and rally everyone to go fight alongside Jon and Sansa
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Proves her ‘unburnt’ status. Something in the trailer with her running her hand along one of those braziers is making me think that somehow she is going to do something fire related to get them to have some faith in her. and DRAGONSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
2. Where’s Jon headed?
He could head to Bear Island, if he does leave Castle Black before Sansa arrives. Jon may have an inkling to return Longclaw to the Mormont family. Sansa and Davos could follow and meet up with him there. Given the pace of the season so far, this is probably wring and Sansa will meet him at CB.
Mihnea,
I will take your word on that! 😀
Arianne. *snore*
1. I think the little birds will do what they’ve been doing. They will get information on the small council…gotta think Ser Gregor goes head smash on Kevan and Pycell. Have a suspicion that Varys will get his little birds back and cause havoc for Qyburn and Cersei in the end…possibly feed them inaccurate info on purpose?
2. Jon will not have a purpose immediately. He will do some soul searching as Melisadre attempts to tell him he is the new PTWP. Davos will advise him in figuring out he has an army now to lead in the wildlings and they need guidance and a place to rally the troops with the WW breathing down their neck and WF is the perfect place. Tormund could give his “I thought he was the one to lead us against the long night, I was wrong” speech. I think initially he will be apprehensive about taking back Winterfell. However, he will have a reunion with Sansa and she will tell him about WF and bastard bolton. Just as she is revealing this. Word will come from CB of either a raid or a letter being delivered of Ramsay’s acquisition of Rickon…giving Jon the push he needs to take WF from bastard bolton.
3. I don’t care just move this story along. This dothraki reclamation project needs to come to a close and have her reunite with Tyrion and Jorah soon…with her dothraki army behind her. Dany’s story this season has been bland and obvios to say the least.
I can make it to the end of the year. I have plenty of other things to keep me entertained. It might be a bit later than that, but not a whole lot.
dragonmcmx,
I believe it’s his publisher that pushes for the occasional releases of these.
This was read at a con a few years ago, so we had a synopsis of it, but it’s nice to read, regardless. This is the second of the two Arianne chapters that were removed from ADWD. I think we’ve now had most of that content either read at conventions, released on his website, or both — other than the Aeron chapter he kept trying to get people to choose.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
They will track the Sparrows for Cersei, to eliminate them one by one.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
Yes. He left Castle Black. He will go to Winterfell.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Daenerys will be joined by her three dragons and will become the Khaleesi of all Dothraki.
1. The kids are more to show Qyburn’s growing influence, they seemed pretty happy with their sweets. As his influence grows so does Jaime and Cersei’s and the kids are gonna be key to them “taking what is ours and more”, so will Gregore CleZombie. They gonna kill everyone who walked out of that meeting, and the sparrows too. Children as assassins would be something new – except Arya but she’s a league of her own.
2. I think everyone knows how this is going to go, Stark reunion, gather the wildlings and loyal northmen, march on Winterfell and save Rickon. Lol that would be too easy i have no idea here
3. I like the idea that Dany will kill the Khals in a big fire, she walks out of the ashes of the building and wins all the khalasars together. She gonna burn down Mereen and start again in Westeros. I honestly actually doubt this, no way will all the dothraki agree to follow her, in saying this they follow strength and her dragons are strong… and also i actually have no idea whats gonna happen in Mereen, i don’t have a clue where that storyline is going.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
Not sure what they will uncover in KL, but I think they’re setting up how Jaime and Cersei get intelligence on the whereabouts of the Blackfish. I think this is how we get Jaime to the siege of Riverrun.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
He didn’t leave… yet. It was just a cinematic device to illustrate how “done” he was. I don’t see him leaving Castle Black without the rest of the Resurrection Squad.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
D&J will arrive and try and free their Queen. It will go south, and we’ll await the Deus Ex Drogon. (It’s also HIGHLY convenient that ALL THE KHALS are going to be there for this big important meeting. Like they need every last Dothraki there to witness something. I wonder what that will be…)
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?Qyburn is at work. Cersei and Jaime are having significant trouble with the council.
Cersei wants spies in Dorne, Highgarden and in the North. It’s hard to believe Little children would travel far away and make it in a harsh environment like the North … but, I suppose Qyburn will get new spies, maybe older children or young. The ones in the trailer looked older than the kids of the last episode, IMO. Cersei will eventually receive news about Sansa and Jon gathering the North to fight against the Boltons … And in the South, Dorne is preparing themselves to go to war… Jaime will be sent to help the Freys and secure the Twins and Riverlands before focusing in Dorne. They believe Littlefinger will help them in the North with the Vale.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go? Men could follow Jon.
I hope not. If he did, I believe he would go close to the Gift with the wildlings, but I hope he didn’t yet. He might need some time to order his ideas but he knows the Long Night is coming. He knows there isn’t a safe place. Also, Mel could tell him his sister is coming and he could be expecting Arya. Sansa and Jon will be reunited, they could cut the scene before a proper conversation but I expect a tearful hug. Also, Jon must receive a letter from Ramsay.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak? How will Daenerys meet this new challenge? How will Jaario play into this?
I believe the Dothraki will try to punish Danny and she will go mad and start a fire and kill many Khals in it. Daario and Jorah will attempt to rescue her, but they will be captured. The surviving Khals might be angry with the fire and take them as prisoners for later execution. The following day or episode, Drogon will appear to save mom.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
They’ll turn on Qyburn and stab him.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
No. He only left the courtyard. He’ll leave later though, to lead House Stark against Ramsay in Snowbowl.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Drogon saves Dany.
What do you think was the worst part of the chapter, and how does it compare with “punch me in the face”, Teleporting/Invisible/WaterWalking SuperSpiceGirls, Brienne GPS v.3.0, BeyondImpossiblyStupid Walda, the totally pointless and cringe-worthy Tyrion/GreyWorm/Missandei scene, AnachronicUmber (sounded like a modern punk, not someone of Westeros), the lame Jorah/Daario/ring trope, and the very poor story-writing that wound up with neither Brienne’s S5E10 choice or Jon’s death having any price associated with him? And shall we consider the absurdity of everyone in Westeros becoming content with kinslaying all of a sudden?
1.) What is next in King’s Landing?
Certainly Kevan has signed his own death warrant by refusing to include Cersei and Jaime in the Small Council. They will feel even more marginalized than they already are, and will regain influence in any way possible. In this case, I’d guess they’ll select guile (Little Birds) over brute force (Ser Frankengregor). Either way, Kevan and Pycelle won’t be around much longer. The main question I have now is, how does Jaime go from where his now, basically following Cersei around like a sad puppy, to leading Tyrell soldiers to the Sept of Baelor? And is Cersei okay with that?
2.) Did Jon leave Castle Black, and if so where did he go?
No, he did not leave Castle Black. The mic drop at the end of Oathbreaker was awesome, but that was not the way out of CB that we saw Jon walk through. The only way in or out of Castle Black is through the gate, and that wasn’t a gate. Anyways, my predictions for next episode are that Sansa will arrive early, and she and Jon will catch up about there respective trials and tribulations. During the episode, a raven will arrive bearing a letter from Ramsay Bolton. The letter will declare that he has Rickon Stark as a hostage, that we wants his wife and his Reek back, and that he wants the Jon and the Wildlings commander to present himself at Winterfell and kneel before him. We’ll get the last line from the teasers that we haven’t heard yet: “Winterfell is mine. Come and see.” Sansa will be able to confirm that Bran, Rickon, and Arya are still alive. Jon will rally the Wildlings to his cause, while Sansa and Davos head to Bear Island to gain the support of the Mormonts. Sansa will tell Brienne to travel south to find Arya…
3.) What will happen next at Vaes Dothrak?
According to the leader of the Dosh Khaleen, all of the Dothraki khalasars are gathering at Vaes Dothrak for some kind of semi regular ritual. This means potentially hundreds of thousands of Dothraki will be there. The khals will have some sort of ceremony or debate over what to do with Daenerys, with some wanting to kill her, and others led by Khal Moro wanting her to stay with the Dosh Khaleen. In the meantime, Jorah and Daario will attempt to infiltrate Vaes Dothrak and rescue Dany, but I suspect they will be captured in the attempt. When the revelation that these two foreigners are here to try to steal Dany from her fate is known, the khals will decide that Dany should die. Dany will prevent this by tipping over one of the braziers in the Temple of the Dosh Khaleen, setting it on fire. Many will perish in the flames, but Dany will once again emerge Unburnt. As if this weren’t enough to prove her strength to the Dothraki, Drogon makes his long awaited appearance by flying in and landing next to his mommy and giving us a big, scary roar. And just like that, Dany has the Dothraki in the palm of her hands.
What I’m finding difficult with the idea of a Dothraki army in Westeros is that they are completely incompatible with that land and its people. It’s like Europe and the Huns, or Vandals, etc. If wildlings are considered enough to break oaths and have wars, then Dothraki would be a civil war bloodbath for generations, wouldn’t it? And it’s not like the Dothraki will suddenly become “westerosi” civilized.
How will they work that out, I wonder?
Lol, am I actually the only one who likes the Arianne chapter? I find her an interesting character and so much better than everything that happened in ShowDorne. Even though she or (f)Aegon may not matter for the end game, I am still curious about his campaign and what Arianne’s role in it will be. And I don’t think the chapter is pointless, it is well written and will probably lead to an interesting meeting between two factions.
I have to admit I like Connington and Aegon’s boldness as well: For five books we have been trolled about a supposed Targaryen invasion. However, miss #ifilookbackimlost is still not even close to Westeros and her story is so much dragging out…
So what happened? Another (supposed) Targaryen shows up and thinks: Screw that, I’m off to Westeros! I like 😛

On topic:
1. Little birds mean Kevan and Pycelle are toast. Olenna and Mace most likely to, by them or Zombiemountain. At the and of the season Jaime, Cersei and maybe Tommen and Margaery will be the only ones alive from the King’s Landing crew.
2. Jon will chill out for some time, meet up with Team Sansa at CB, receive the Pink Letter and march south. First stop: Bear Island.
3. The most obvious stuff ever. Daario and Jorah will get into a dire situation, but Drogon and possibly the other dragons will save the day. Get on with it asap so we can move on to the more surprising and interesting parts of the story!
Kelsier,
I like it fine. It’s a pleasant read, and I enjoy reading about the different parts of Westeros.
The scene with Daeny arriving at Dosh Khaleen seemed (to me) very focused on fire. The crone was standing by a fire, lighting a fire, stirring the fire, waving a stick with the fire. It felt like I was being hit over the head with the “hey, there’s going to be a fire” clues.
Sadly, GRRM glacial pacing from the last two books has not changed. It makes me pessimistic about the upcoming book.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
I think they’ll search for Kevan, Pycelle’s and the Tyrells weaknesses, and take advantage of them, i.e. I can very much see Pycelle being stabbed to death in a brothel, and Kevan will be despatched in a similar way. I can’t see Olenna or Mace being murdered by them because that would be completely stupid from a strategic perspective, although maybe Cersei would just lose it completely if she finally found out that Joffrey’s murder had nothing to do with Tyrion and Sansa and everything to do with the Queen of Thorns and Littlefinger. To that end, it doesn’t matter if the Little Birds are controlled by Varys or Qyburn. Both want a power vacuum. Maybe they’ll turn on Qyburn. Maybe they won’t. I don’t believe they’ll do anything in relation to the High Sparrow other than try to find out who FrankenMountain is going to face in the trial.
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
No, I think he just stormed off to his quarters for now. There’s no way he’d have left Ghost behind and Mel is going to be clinging onto him for grim death now. The only slim possibility is that he’d have gone to The Gift, but I think that’ll come after Sansa, Brienne and Pod turn up.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Dany will be in mortal peril after the Dothraki remain unconvinced. Daario and Jorah will try to infiltrate the city and rescue her, but will be caught. They may even be forced to fight each other. Either way, I think Jorah is a goner and he’s going to end up sacrificing himself for his Khaleesi. Then Drogon’s going to come swooping in to save the day. It is known.
Chad Brick,
I loved all those things you mentioned.
Yet again. I politely ask you not to reply to me. I will never, ever, ever, ever enter a discussion with you. I simply can’t do it.
Ignore my comments, have a laugh at my stupidity, at my lack of inteligence and how i’m ”unable to understand the complexity of these books”. I don’t care. But do not reply to me.
I hate the things you love, you hate the things I love. That’s it. No point in talking. it will derail the thread and I find no pleasure in talking with you, none. And not because we disagree but because I simply don’t like you. The same way you don’t like me.
Davos’ Luck,
Yeah. I was hoping he would write a bit more the way he did in the first 3 books. Books I consider masterpieces of fantasy writing.
But it looks like it’s more AFFC/ADWD sadly.
At this moment I have zero intention of buying WOW, it’s simply no longer the story/writing I fell in love with.
I love these articles!
1. What is the plan with the Little Birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
I think he was hyped up from his mic drop. I don’t think he really left, as we later see Melisandre and Co. leave in one of the promo pictures that had a time stamp for EP 4 or EP 5. He will leave, but I think it will be with the rest of his companions and more equipment.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Some version of a Khalsmoot will happen with Dany. I think the constant reiteration of her titles has purpose– in each city she has visited in a while, her titles have impressed people. Each title becomes like a list of everything she’s done till this point. She starts with her “birthright” then adds things that aren’t achieved by simply being birthed. I feel like she will have to show power in some way
but I also feel like she will have to be diplomatic, too. She can’t just shock and awe her way into a government seat- she needs to rule.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
The little birds will start working for Qyburn. He will eliminate Kevan and the Small Council with their help, since the Small Council has proved useless against The Militant Faith. 😀
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
He will stay with the Wildings, either at CB, or wherever they want to go.
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Danerys will be “on trial” by Dothrakis. She will lose her patience, embrace Fire and Blood and set the temple on fire with the brazier. Tons of Dothraki will die, she will coolly walk out of the temple. There will be a humongous conflagration, and Drogon will arrive, attracted by the promise of Roast Dothraki. Daenerys will get up on Drogon after he has had a good dinner, and the remaining Dothraki (plus Jaario) will start marching behind her.
Seriously, do you mean Jon will just ask the Wildlings “what shall we do, now that I am out of a job” and just follow them wherever they take him? 🙂
Honestly, no idea! Perhaps THEY will ask HIM? In any case, I believe, yes seriously, that Jon’s immediate future lies with the Wildings. And it’s not “I am out of a job,” but rather “i am DONE with my old job, foreva.”
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
If they are Varys’ little birds, them maybe it’s Varys himself, they (Qyburn, the Queen , Jaime etc ..) are looking for. It doesn’t take a genius to work out that he vanished around the same time as Tyrion did – and given that the Lannisters intend to ‘take back everything that was taken from them .. and more’ .. I imagine Tyrion is very high on their hit list – he did kill Tywin after all. I can’t see Cersei letting that one go myself!
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
It would be a very stupid person that set out on the road in winter without warm clothing and supplies, and given that he has just handed his fur coat to Ed, I don’t think he has left just yet! But he definitely looked to be done with the Night’s Watch – I think it is time for him to avenge the Stark family (he was very close to his father, Ned and brother, Robb), the fact that he just sat back, unable to involve himself, on the news of their murders must weigh heavy on his mind! I think he will rally the wildlings, and attempt to take back his family home from the psycho-Boltons. I think Theon Greyjoy needs to be keeping a low profile also, with Jon on the revenge rampage!
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
Dany will somehow get the Dothraki people to join them, and help them rise up against the Iron Throne. I think it will pretty much play out like before when she stepped out of the fire and everyone was in awe. When her dragons eventually show up to save their mother, she will get the opportunity to demonstrate her power.
2. If I was so unpopular with my fellow workers that I was stabbed with knives a dozen times and left for dead, I would take that as a hint to start looking for another job, hopefully not in management. Jon will probably go off to Molestown and work hard at becoming the town drunk. Life is short, he gave it his best effort, but Davos and Sansa will be on their own for now. However, like Achilles in the Iliad, something will happen that will force him to return to the battle.
Rick
I agree with you!
‘I tried to do the right thing – and got murdered for it!’
Very probably this is exactly how the conversation will go down, from what we know about the characters of Jon. Davos and Tormund. 🙂
I think Jon will still be at Castle Black undecided where to go. The only sibling he has any clue about is Bran, North of the Wall. Maybe Jon is like I’ll go north of the Wall and find Uncle Benjen and/or Bran, when Sansa turns up at the gate.
What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
It’s obvious the showrunners want the average viewers to think that Qyburn/Team Cersei is now in control of Varys’ “Little Birds,” but from a book reader’s persepective, I’m almost certain this isn’t the case. I think the LB’s at first will only provide Qyburn with some benign information, but at this point, it’s the only info Cersei has been asking for. She wants to know, “Dae..Who’s making fun of meeee?” and is preoccupied with that, instead of addressing more pressing concerns like the Faith Militant. Who, by the way, seem to want a Trial by 7, and Cersei thinks she’s getting Trial by Combat. While not confirmed AFAIK, all signs do seem to point to CLEGANEBOWL. (GET HYPE!!!!) How do we get there, though? I suspect that LBs provide some damning info on the HS, which will force HIM to have to acquiese to Cersei’s planned Trial by Combat using Ser Gregor. But, in the final analysis, Varys’ LB’s still belong to him, and by episode ten, we will see Varys return to carry out the events from the last chapter of ADWD.
Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
No. He just went to collect his thoughts. But he is about to leave, possibly without any plan just yet, but Davos and Mel will remind him that he needs to warn and then unite the entire Realm against the White Walkers. Sansa will show up and they will formulate a plan to unite the Northern Lords by taking back Winterfell.
What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
I think Jaario find Dany, infiltrate Vaes Dothrak, and may come close to saving her, but will fail. Probably being captured trying. I think she will stand trial in this… whatever it was that the old Khaleesi told her, and her outcome will not be favorable. At the very last moment, Drogon burns shit, Dany has another epic “Dracarys/Mysha” moment, and the Dothraki bow to her and Drogon as the Stallion who Mounts the World. She may get back to Meereen by episode 7 or 8, in time to find a new Ironborn Fleet hopefully ready to sail to Westeros in episode 10.
1. Little Birds – Cersei said she wanted them in the North. When she hears of the happenings at Winterfell and Castle Black, who would she side with? I have a feeling she and Jaime will side with Jon, Brienne and the good guys (assuming they’re all alive when that time comes).
2. Where’s Jon going? – This is a tough one. I want to think he has a renewed sense in standing with his family (the Starks) since he forwent denouncing his vows and joining Robb in the War of the 5 Kings for “duty.” That said, the way he walked out, I could see him spending a good amount of time in he and Ygritte’s cave, away from it all.
3. Vaes Dothrak – Dany is destined to get out of this. I bet she gives the Dosh Khaleen a pep talk and talks them into joining her and Drogon convinces the rest of the Dothraki to do the same.
The Little Birds I think will carry out Cyburn’s orders and maybe assassinate Kevan and/ or Pycelle…but will still be reporting to Varys and he’ll order them to turn on Cyburn
The little birds I haven’t figured out. Can’t tell if they are really double agents and will ultimately work for Varys, the show has taken a different direction in quite a few of the book plot. What I have found is that Varys’ line before their introduction, “birds I always trust” is not gratuitous. Let’s see what comes out of that plot, but I do agree that they will be the undoing of Pycelle and Kevan, just no sure under who’s orders.
Jon was clearly just leaving the courtyard, not the castle, you can see the castle gates behind him on the final shot. So I’m pretty sure that Sansa gets to meet him and he will get this Pink Letter from Ramsay that will fire Jon and Sansa up to gather the rest of the Northern houses to their cause. They will start with the Mormonts, from what we can see on the teaser released before the season premiere (Davos speaking to someone with some bear sigils on the background). Hopefully the Manderlys will side with them as well, but who knows.
Daenerys, I excpect, will be judged guilty of deserting by the Khalar Vezhven and will be sentenced to some horrible fate. Khal Moro will not be happy with this decision and Dany will start a fire hoping that she will once again survive it. Jaario will play no part, just try and infiltrate and get captured. Drogon will arrive just in time to watch her mother rise from the flames and Khal Moro will be convinced that she is the Stallion who Mounts the World and follow her along with her Khalasar. I think that is the only way that this subplot can be saved.
I’ve seen in mentioned in a few comments, but I’m really liking the idea that
1. Dany talks to the Dosh Khaleen and encourages them to want to leave and explore/have more freedom.
2. When the Khals gather, the scene where Dany touches the brazier is before she curb stomps some of the Khals with fire (some of the Khals, while they do burn a bit, survive)
3. The domination of the Dothraki is largely done by Dany and some form of being Unburnt, and for added measure, Drogon appears, burns a little more, stands behind her, and roars.
I also like the idea that they introduced in the 3rd episode- merely having titles isn’t enough. She needs to find ways to back up those titles. I believe in the coming episodes, she’ll learn how to do that.
2. Melisandre said she saw Jon (in the flames) fighting at Winterfell

End Quote
I agree with all above! The one thing I’d add is that BY THE TIME JON GETS TO WINTERFELL WITH SANSA AND MELISANDRE AND WILDINGS RICKON AND OSHA WILL ALREADY BE FLAYED AND BURNED ON THE CROSS. I BELIEVE THOSE ARE THE BODIES WE SAW IN THE TRAILER. SADLY.
I hope you are not offended by the all caps there. I just wanted to make sure to differentiate between the comments of the person above and myself and direct you to my main point.
I love your show!!! Thanks
Oh also I think Jorah is going to die helping to save Dany and not even live to see the Greyscale take him.
Re the ‘Little Birds’. I want to know how you turn grubby little cherubs into killers. Maybe Qyburn put something ‘extra’ in those plums.
It’s horrible to turn children into killers; somehow, I don’t thing Varys would do such a thing.
In the end, I think Qyburn/Mountain will turn on Cersai. Her schemes always backfire. It happens every single time.
The Umbers siding with the Boltons against the Wildlings is fulfilling oaths, not breaking them: people in the same country are supposed to unite against foreign invaders. The Umbers also presumably have sworn oaths to protect the people in their “duchy” (or however you wish to think of it): and they need the Boltons to do that.
Any Westerosi siding with the Wildlings would be breaking the oaths that the Umbers are following: they would be siding with a hostile foreign power, which is pretty much the definition of treason.
Now, is it treason for Starks to use Wildlings to try to regain their seat of power? Yes. Should they resort to that if it is the last means available? Again, yes. Remember, all of their vows and oaths are made under simple minded assumptions that the vows and oaths would never come into conflict with each other. The heart of the story involves individuals deciding which vow(s) to uphold and which one(s) to cast aside when reality rears its ugly head.
We could expect something similar with the Dothraki, at least if they were to invade on their own. The fact that they probably will be part of a larger army that (I am betting) will include the Dornish and the Iron Born will put a different slant on it.
1. What is the plan for the little birds? What will they uncover in King’s Landing?
2. Did Jon leave Castle Black? If so, where will he go?
3. What is next in Vaes Dothrak?
How will Daenerys meet this new challenge?
How will Jaario play into this?
I am sure you are just clamoring to read that chapter. LOL 🙂
Didn’t the lannisters know that Sansa had married Ramsay Bolton.?
Why did Jamie send brienne to find her?
Wimsey,
Maybe, but from what’s I’ve read/viewed, the Iron Born are not held in high regard by those in the other kingdoms as they’ve spent hundreds/thousands of years raiding in a similar fashion to the Wildlings. I would say any of those on the West Coast, whether it be in the North, West or the Reach are very anti-Iron Born given the raiding and killing the Iron Born have done. Dorne and the Reach have no love lost either. Nor do I think the Stormlands either.
Other than the Targaryen name and dragons, I don’t think the Iron Born and even the Dornish would be seen as other than “foreign” invaders. Now many may yearn for the Targaryen days forgetting the Mad King years (as people tend to over-romanticize the past) and loathe the Lannisters (and their incest) supporting Dany as a Targaryen and due to fear (of Dragons and the Iron Born) but it could be more like the first invasion with some supporting Aegon but more being won over after the power of the dragons were unleashed. Dany has the equivalent of three reusable nuclear bombs. Properly harnessed, it will be hard to stand against them. Many may do the math and join the winning side (to share the spoils).
Lonald,
But does that need any explanation beyond “the Starks like to name their children after the mythical founder of their House”?
QUESTION 1) Cersei will learn from the Little Birds, Kevan plans on sending her back to Casterly Rock. Kevan is killed along with Grand Maester Pycelle
QUESTION 2) Jon wanders around in the forest by himself to figure out what the hell just happen to him and why for 40 days and 40 nights
QUESTION 3) There are around 20 Khals, some are laughing at Dany, others are worried. Daario and Jorah try to save her, but are captured and brought to these Khals. A decision is made to kill them, Drogon arrives and burns the whole temple down including all these Khals. Dany is on Drogon back. The wives of the dead Khals see this and state Dany is the warrior riding on the Stallion that Mounts the World prophesy and she unites the Khalasars. The old Khaleesi’s are Dany generals.
Is it possible that Maester Aemon is in the Tower of Joy as well when Ned walks in? Maester Aemon Gave me the impression he believed that there were more Targaryens out there than Dany. This could be the reason why Maester Aemon was at the wall. Ned couldn’t bring himself to kill him (homorable Ned) so exiled him.
Could Qybern be working with Varys as his proxy while Varys is out of town? Working with multiple alliances while at KL?
1. I am not sure because whoever wins in the King’s landing, they will be beaten by Danny or Jon. They might reveal high sept is behind Joffley’s death. Either way, people in the King’s Landing hurt each other and all in all, whoever wins, they will be backstabbed by the little birds and Varys will let Danny win.
2. Not yet. He ended the watch but didn’t leave. Sansa will see him, hear everything and encourages him to fight along side with her as a Stark and he will consent. Then a pink letter will arrive and face the Boltons. It will start to build up and gear up for this fight and this will be one of the climax of Season 6. Maybe cliffhangers will be the appearance of white walkers moving toward Winterfell after the fall of the wall.
Whatever happens, wildlings will follow their God, Jon and so will Davos and Melisandre. Eventually the Starks, except for traitors, will gather under Jon and Sansa’s banner.
3. They should at least be ready to move toward Westros. So they try to free Danny and maybe at some point Drogon will appear and that will be the end of Danny’s slavery. They will start packing and maybe in the last episode we will see them on their ships toward Dorne.
