This week, we’re celebrating the end of a very long year for the Watchers On The Wall. There’s been a great deal of change and adjustment with the creation of the site, and we’re grateful for your loyalty and enthusiasm. Game of Thrones fans are a bunch we’re proud to be among.

As a thank you to our readers, we’re having a five-day-long giveaway, with a host of prizes generously furnished byย Dark Horse Comics, the creators of Game of Thrones‘s high-quality line of licensed products.

Every day, we’ll be featuring a Great House from the world of Game of Thrones, kicking things off today with the blood of Old Valyria, House Targaryen.

We’ll be capping off the week on Friday with a grand finale featuring a variety of Houses, loads of swag, and one very special grand prize. Be sure to check in every day to see what amazing GoT merch we’re giving away, and to enter to win!

Unfortunately the giveaway is open to US residents only. We’ll have other giveaways in the future that will be worldwide.

House Targaryen prizes

Fire and Blood Grand Prize Winner package: Daenerys Targaryen Figure, Targaryen Coffee Mug, Targaryen Pint Glass and Targaryen Sigil Embroidered Patch
2nd place: 2 winners will each receive a Targaryen Pint Glass, Coffee Mug and Sigil Patch package.
3rd place: 3 winners will receive a Targaryen Coffee Mug and a Targaryen Patch.
Additionally, four more winners will receive a House Targaryen Sigil Embroidered Patch!

The Rules
1. The giveaway is open to USA residents only.
2. To enter, leave a comment on this post before Tuesday, December 9 at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Only one entry per person per day will be accepted.
3. The winners are selected by random number generator, and contacted via the email address entered when you submit your comment. Be sure to use a valid email address!
4. You have 48 hours to respond to the notification email. If you don’t respond to it within 48 hours, you forfeit the prize, and a new winner is drawn.

  42. Congratulations to everyone on an amazingly successful first year on the Wall! This is such a fun place to pass the time. I, for one, am I quite happy to be stuck here for life. At least until the White Walkers turn up.

  448. Been reading song of ice and fire for years, think the show is brilliant. My favorite character is Varys in both instances, and the reason i mention it is because i let’s me tailor my shady alliances along with him. It’s all about duty, what’s right for the people today or tomorrow or the next, i’d be proud to get ahold of some Targaryen memorabilia… for posterity… and the realm.
