Join Bex, Vanessa, Petra, Samantha and very special guest Kim Renfro from Insider as we talk about the season that has it all: another fateful wedding, sexy Martells, and Brienne kicking some Hound ass.

Season 4!
Best scene in GoT!
Best episode of GoT!
(4×1, last 9 minutes of “Two Chickens”… I mean “Two Swords”)
(4×7, “Mockingbird)
Ten Bears,
Speaking of Maisie, I couldn’t hold this in. I just saw that Instagram will be showing her in I and You for free for 72 hours starting on November 30th. #IandYouIGTV
“Two Chickens” was definitely one of my favorite episodes… or “Arya gets a horse” would be a good name too.
I appreciated the discussion of the relationship between Jaime and Brienne. It is one of the things that D&D did really well. They structured Jaime’s storyline quite differently from the book does and perhaps Jaime was not well served by the changes.
However, I think D&D’s treatment has enhanced the love storyline between Jaime and Brienne. It is touching and substantive. The two actors have been excellent in portraying an emotional deep connection based on shared values but without any hope for sexual expression. Up to S7 Jaime is married, committed but in a complicated crumbling relationship. Brienne understands loyalty more than most. At end of S7, he gets a “divorce” .
Despite the dire expectations for Jaime’s future – I cannot but think that such a carefully constructed long love story is not for nothing. Of all the couples with a deliberate love story, it is this story that has been reserved to have an apex in Season 8 – for the end game.
KKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMMMMM I love this
Kim Renfro is such a great journalist when it comes to GOT, so glad you had her on here! Loved the podcast:)
Thanks !!! I just saw your comment. I’ll have to sign up for Instagram.
Only now got a chance to listen to this. Thank you, you guys. Really enjoyed it, especially the discussion about how Reek was done on the show – less physical change = emphasises the profound psychological change – and Alfie Allen’s amazing acting; and of course the “Braime” discussion.

Thank you for writing this, saved me time. Long way of saying I pretty much agree. 🙂
I have to thank you profusely. Thanks to you, my 2018 will now not be without a live Maisie Williams performance.
I just signed up for Instagram, and watched Part 1 of the 2-Part IGTV streaming of Maisie Williams in “I and You.”
I think it just became available today (Nov. 30) and will be accessible for a week or so.
