Those pics are all from the first episode. I think it’s very unlikely it’s him. Maybe some high ranking soldier who died in the finale?
It does look like a middle aged male though, so it’s not Miranda, whom I would have expected. Who else could it be?
All possibly from EP 01. From Joe Naufahu’s interview it didn’ look like he’d be a threat to dany though? Unless he’s pissed at Dany for using blood magic on Drogo? I think he just wants to take her to VD. I’m curious about the other Khal, who mocks her in the Targaryen Teaser, because we have no news about him yet.
Not sure that Ramsey REALLY liked Myranda enough to put her on a bed. And she is D.E.A.D., not dying. She needs to be burned, not put in a room somewhere.
I wish this week would just get over, but just because we want it to, it won’t….Love the new pics! I’m betting Ramsey is looking at Myranda too.

From what I’ve gathered from interviews, it sounds like Khal Moro won’t be personally cruel or abusive to Dany. He is, however, a staunch traditionalist.
His bloodriders, on the other hand – Qhono and Ahko – look like they’ll be giving Dany a rough time, both physically and verbally.

Awww…… it looks to me like Ramsay is in shock at Myranda’s death? I really, really like that first picture of Khal Moro behind Daenerys. I like the looks of this Khal, hope he becomes her trusted general going forward, since GW will have to govern Meereen when she takes off for Westeros. 😀

Maybe he didn’t put her there? I’m wondering if a castle servant or two found her before Ramsay noticed, and didn’t know what to do with her so they parked her in a bed or something. Wights haven’t turned up south of the Wall yet, especially not in Winterfell, so I’d imagine they’d have enough time to burn her.

Yes that’s what I got from one of his interviews. I hope he stays with her when they leave for Westeros, if we are indeed right. Though we know a bigger figure than just his bloodriders might threaten her otherwise we would not get what we’ll possibly get in episode 04. Thats where I think the other Khal fits.

It looks like a stubble, not a full grown beard. Also it looks like the nose and the mouth are bigger than Miranda’s . It’s blurry, yes, but it doesn’t look like her at all.

One question of the big questions that I have about Season 6 pertains to Khal Moro and the scope of his role.
However, we know that in Episode 4, Drogon burns the Dothraki temple, and lots of the assembled Khals will die. When Dany emerges unscathed, the surviving Dothraki bow to her. Will Khal Moro be among them? Or will he get torched?
So far, the only confirmed survivor of Drogon’s attack is the character that Tamer Hassan is playing – Khal Forzo. When discussing his role in an interview, he claimed that “Lots of people died. I didn’t die.” That could mean that Moro dies, and Forzo becomes the new leader of the Dothraki who follow Daenerys back to Meereen. But I doubt it. I think Hassan is overstating his relative importance.
I could be wrong, but my current prediction is that Moro will live, and bow to Dany’s strength. It would be satisfying to see him overcome his traditionalist beliefs and acknowledge her as a Khaleesi in her own right, not just Drogo’s widow. Besides, if he isn’t personally abusive towards her, the audience won’t necessarily be itching to see him die. I think his bloodriders are toast.
Burning bodies is a wildling tradition, not a northern one.
Regarding the body, Myranda fell head-first to the courtyard. Shouldn’t her head be pretty unrecognizable at this point?
I don’t think Roose is going to die quite that quickly (though he’s clearly a dead man walking), so if there is somebody lying on the bed, Myranda would seem to be the only option.

Technically Wildlings follow Tormund. Jon even put it like that they’ll follow only one of their own but it might change after events from the start of the season. Question is if wildlings will be still alive come the end of the season. From trailer it doesn’t look good for them, but Dothraki are a powerful force, wildlings are reduced to minimum thanks to Night’s King and his army.
If they decide to go for a spin-off, I would love to see that man, so much.
Especially the war on the Trident and the fight between Robert and Rhaegar.
They’ve been really stingy with the new character shots this year.

Agreed. Khal Moro being a traditionalist, once certain events at Vaes Dothrak that speak to Dothraki traditional lore happen (STMTW), would be more inclined to accept a woman as the Khal of Khals. But I doubt it’s a Tormund-Jon Snow parallel. I think the parallels that we were shown between Jon Snow and Daenerys, will no longer hold once Season 6 starts and their storylines will diverge completely very soon. Just a gut feeling I have.

It looks like they keep changing Dany’s hair colour or something. Back in season 1 it was silver white and then they gradually turned it into light blonde… I know it’s a minor change and barely noticeable but for some reason it bothers me a little

Could it be Theon on the bed? I definitely think the image is from episode 2. Ramsey is wearing the same clothes as the earlier picture of him with Roose. The new picture is also in the same room where Ramsey is shown in the new trailer cleaning blood off a knife with the empty bed behind him. He is wearing the same undershirt but the leather vest is gone. From the change in lighting it appears later in the same day. I bet that whoever is on the bed ends up flayed.

Honestly, I didn’t like season 3 Dany. She was basically flawless and hasn’t failed once. I want the characters to be grey and complex.
It it definitely Myranda. The nose is looking very much like hers, and it is clearly Ramsay’s bedroom we’re in; he’s looking at the same bed he himself was lying in in that scene with Myranda in S05E05.
Besides, we know he will be in something resembling sadness: “In the new season, the show’s sixth, Ramsay deepens further, Mr. Rheon suggested, even approaching something like human emotion in mourning a girlfriend killed in the Season 5 finale. “That surprised even me,” he said. ” (NY Times)
And finally I doubt somehow he would put any of his tortured / killed victims in his own bed…

Where are you watching the show? I have HBO. But here the episodes air on Monday night. And what’s worse. They have a voice over translating the speaking parts. urgh I’ll have none of that. I can’t access HBO Now or Go. What other options are left, besides torrent downloading the episode after it airs in the US? There aren’t even any live streams.
I wouldn’t put it past Ramsay to chop off a few of his favorite bits of Myranda as some sort of creepy keepsake.

Haven’t heard much about the Greyjoy plotline this year; Euron I mean. Will we see him sail out to meet the Khaleesi? Or just the kingsmooot for this season……will be really interesting to see if they depict him as a combination of Victarion and Euron from the books or strictly Euron.

Busy episode. Has Tyrion and the new red priestess been confirmed for episode 1?
Given the number of locations in the first episode, The Wall might have like 5 to 10 minutes of screentime? Around 10 mins is a bold prediction. Another reason why there will be no Jon resolution in it. Can’t have him be dead, found by Ghost and others, carried off to safety, Mel and Davos have a conversation, Thorne and co decide to go after the body/Ghost/loyal Watchmen, the busting down the door scene, whatever comes after it with Davos and the rest, Wun Wun and the Wildlings come charging in, the end of the fight, whatever Mel does in the meantime and a resurrection in one episode. Can’t possibly happen. That’s too much to cover for such short screentime.
And the episode is only 50 minutes long.

My guesses for screentime:
– Castle Black; the most screentime, probably by a significant margin.
– Sansa/Theon: thanks to Alfie we’ve got a pretty decent description of the Sansa/Theon plot, which sounds like a relatively lengthy sequence.
– Meereen: I wouldn’t be surprised if this is easily Tyrion’s smallest premiere role.
– Dany & Dothraki: Decent-sized part.
– Boltons: Quick check-in.
– Dorne: No idea, honestly; we’ve heard nothing about this whole plotline, so it’s really hard to guess the pacing.
– King’s Landing: Second-most screentime after Castle Black.
– Arya: Probably nothing huge.

Holy shit I was so wrong, just checked my HBO’s schedule and the show does air simultaneously with the US. It will just be 3 a.m. here. I think it’s the first year they do it or more likely I missed out on it in the previous years (shame on me). Oh well, another round of Sunday all nighters (went through it with Breaking Bad) before work on Monday or will get a few hours of sleep before the episode.
Just hope there’s no voice over. Subtitles I can stomach.

If I recall correctly from the books, that was one of the many experiences provided by LF at his brothels … maybe that’s one of the ones he was referencing:
“An establishment like no other. The sheer range of appetites catered to. Desires that didn’t even exist until we invented them.”
So more or less we have the follow up from last season’s cliffhangers. Dorne is a surprise. But I think Elaria will survive the season and she will have a role to play for next one too. Trystane comes back safe home. There is no other option for his character than to leave Jaimie, Bronn and the dead Myrcella (he can just send them in a boat to the shore without the ship coming any closer to KL) and come back to Dorne.

That’s a lot of storylines for 50 minutes … and with Mel’s big reveal … you’d think that would take more than a few minutes at Castle Black …
I have a feeling Dorne will be one short scene this episode, same with Aryas scene, a little bit of Tyrion and Varys, some Sansa and Theon and then most of it should be Castle Black, hopefully.
I think the Dothraki women are going to burn Deny to prove that she is what she says she is. In the clip where she’s stripped, someone walks in with a torch. These Dothrakan weren’t there for the fireworks at Drogo’s pyre.
So, maybe there weren’t trying to humiliate her, after all.

I’m not surprised to see Dorne here. And I wouldn’t be surprised if they get a bit more time than expected. The first review said women were taking charge “in other regions” in “terrifying” ways.

Its marge and loras. Loras was in prison by far the longest compared to cersei and his sister. They don’t let him borrow a shave that’s why he looks like Theon. I thought that it was theon and yara as well but after having another look realize it was marge and loras as well.

Agreed on everything except King’s Landing. Unless there’s something I missed from premier spoilers, I don’t think we’re gonna get much more than Jaime/Cersei with Myrcella’s body.
I could also see a quick scene of Daario and Jorah tracking Dany and finding her ring.

Yeah, based on those image file names, I think both Bran and the Iron Islands are confirmed to appear in Episode 2. So I’m assuming that neither of them will be shown in Episode 1, as there isn’t enough time.
I really wanted to see Bran in Episode 1, i couldn’t give a fuck about Dorne.

Have to say, it’s good in this respect that the show has humanised and made Ramsay (with his Father approval issues) more multi-dimensional than his book counterpart (terrifying sociopath)
While I’d be more scared by book Ramsay, it’s good he’s not a one-note character and good they are continuing on the theme that this is all about “struggle”
Also, with the photos and the clip of Sansa/Theon, the scenery is fantastic

The ship’s sails are the Dornish Sun and Spears. Cersei would not have sent that.
At any rate, the thought that Jaime and Bronn could commandeer the ship is pretty implausible they are only two men, one of whom can barely fight when he’s well (and who probably is not well after losing his daughter). One would think that Trystane is going to have a retinue with him, as he is going into the viper’s nest… er, lion’s den.
Indeed, the fact that Trystane is not on the stills showing Jaime coming ashore with Myrcella’s body makes it seem much less probable that he’s going to Kings Landing. (Of course, he could just stay on the boat and go home.)
What puzzles me is: why is Ellaria still in Dorne? Of course, she does have some time: once the ship is out to sea, it would be some time before news of Myrcella’s death would reach Doran. If they did not stop until Kings Landing, then she might have a few weeks. However: I expected that she would vamose it quickly! (Of course, I originally assumed that she was going to be Young Griff’s person, as I expected that they would introduce him this year; however, they obviously have cut that plotline altogether.)

I mean, Doran knows about the death so soon (same clothes), Tyrstane must have told him OR Doran is the mastermind of the plan

I miss Cercei’s glorious long hair. Theon looks so different, his features are old and gaunt or something. The Dothraki dude doesn’t look mean or dangerous. I think he becomes an ally.

How is it possible that the ship gets back to King’s Landing in the first episode? The season starts right where it left off, with Jon still dead by the end of ep 1, it can’t be more than a day or two as far as timeline goes, or else he’d be rotting severely. The events at The Wall pre-resurrection happen fairly quickly, not in a span of weeks.
Look on it as several weeks has passed since the ship left Dorne before the event of Jon getting stabbed

The CGI in the King’s Landing shot is just… wow.
I completely forgot about Myranda. I mean I remembered she died but I didn’t think his first priority would be to come back from battle, find her on the snowy ground and lift her to a bed, then sit over her and THEN chase after Sansa and Theon. I guess Ramsay returns a little later than the rest and Myranda is already on the bed when he returns home.
I imagined it as Ramsay IMMEDIATELY setting chase after Sansa and Theon.

Episodes can take place over weeks or even months. It’s perfectly possible that by the time Jon was killed, Jaime’s ship was already close to reaching KL.
I think he means the little barge that Marcella’s body is being brought back to shore in. The shot of Jamie with Marcella’s body covered behind him and the red-gold drapings… that is not the same ship as the long shot of the one with the sunspear crest on the sail.
It looks as if the Dornish ship won’t dock (wise choice if Trystane is still in charge), but will take them close to King’s landing and Jamie and company will switch to a smaller vessel to reach the shore.

He was in the other Ellaria still too which seems to be from the same scene, but there he looked to had moved closer to her, and is more centrally framed. Hope it’s a new character and not some random messenger.

S4: Kings Landing (lannisters), The Riverlands (Arya), The Wall (Jon), The Gift (wildlings), The road to Mereen (Dany) – Total: 5
S5: Kings Landing (lannisters), Pentos (Tyrion), The Wall (Jon, Stannis), Mereen (Dany), The Eyrie (Sansa, Littlefinger, Pod, Brienne, since they actually pass each other I took it as one storyline) – Total: 5
Sooooo, history would dictate that we will see either 5 or 6 locations/storylines in the season 6 premiere. However, it looks like we’re getting more. From the official pictures from the premiere released from HBO, we know for sure that Dorne (Doran and Co.), Winterfell (Ramsay), somewhere in the north (Theon, Sansa), Kings Landing (lannisters), Bravoos (Arya) and the dothraki sea (Dany) is a safe lock. Also, I think we can agree that The Wall will be included because of the episode title. So that’s already 7 locations. I also find it hard to believe that Tyrion will not be shown in the premiere for many reason. 1. he’s the most popular character, 2. there are pictures of him and varys, 3. the red woman from the title could also mean the pristess from the trailers. So, I’m gonna include Mereen (Tyrion). Something else I find hard to believe, is that they won’t show Bran after having him of screan for a whole season, also since he is very evident in the trailers. So I’m including him too.
So, again:
1. Kings Landing (lannisters)
2. Dorne (Doran and Co.)
3. Mereen (Tyrion)
4. Dothraki Sea (Dany)
5: The Wall (Davos, Mel)
6: Somewhere in the north (Theon, Sansa)

Nine Locations! Jesus. Maybe Theon/Sansa will merge with Ramsay in winterfell so it feels like one story, and maybe Arya wont be in the premiere after all, since she usually gets pushed to ep2. But the rest I think are locks, so it’s gonna be a packed premiere. Iron Islands, Sam and wildlings will definately be pushed to ep2. I don’t know about Brienne though.

It is a lot in a short f-ing episode. But I think some of these will be ultra short set ups for other stories. And some will be just check-ins.
I think they only need to give us a moment w Ramsay so he can mourn Myranda and then send out the hounds. Gives us some time with Sansa and Theon.
Brienne is going to be with Sansa and Theon. So that’s how we see her.
I don’t think we will get more than a cursory check in w Mereen and prob Arya. I doubt we see Bran. If I didn’t think the ending was all about Mel I’d say they could end w him waking up from a vision. But I do think we end w the red woman.
My thoughts are the more substantial plot lines will be the wall, Winterfell (Sansa Theon Ramsay Brienne- they r all together for now), and some Dorne. Maybe kings landing.
But you are right. It’s going to be a very tight episode. And we should get ready for that.

He could have a short chain on the front of his chest, we can’t really see. Yeah they look exactly like maesters robes. If they’re fleshing out Doran, his gout is a big part of that, and Caleotte is the one who tends to his knees and pain and all that, so I think it’s a possibility. Would be nice for continuety, that they had a maester Down there too.
