Tonight, live at 8PM Eastern Time, we’ll be celebrating the best of Game of Thrones season 4 in the Watchers on the Wall Awards. After months of voting and heated debate over who should win the awards, it’s time to make the final announcements.
The WotW writers and the Game of Owns crew will be broadcasting a Hangout to announce the results live, and to share our reactions to well-deserved wins and shocking losses. (If there are any. I’m not hinting. Maybe.)

I think Sophie Turner, Rose Leslie, Natalie Dormer, Gwendoline Christie, and Maise Williams (in that order) are all better actresses than Lena Heady. I am consistently perplexed at why the rather melodramatic performance of Heady is so lauded. She’s good, but she’s a cut below the rest, IMO.
Can’t wait! Too bad I’ll be somewhere in dreamland when the winners are announced.

Lena’s Cersei has been very complex and season 4 was a particularly strong season for her.

I disagree. The character of Cersei has been generally received as an extremely complex one, and that is, for the most part, thanks to Lena’s performance. Was it not for the actress’ approach on the character, Cersei’s many shades would have been lost on the majority of the audience. And as we can clearly see, that’s not the case.
what is the “Eastern Time”? … East where? like… so East as China? or at East of Greenwich?.. like, some place on Europe? there are plenty of time zones in the “east”… depends on where are you standing..
From where I am standing, I have Uruguay at the East… and South Africa beyond the Narrow Sea..

4am for me, unfortunetely I can’t stay awake as I have school in the morning. I’ll try to avoid the list of winners and watch the ceremony when/if it’s uploaded to youtube.
Ok so I know today was the start of Daylight Savings Time (or the end, I never can tell because my state doesn’t participate) so tell me – usually we are mountain time, but today, are we Pacific or Mountain?
Oh and dumb question – Im assuming this is live streamed here, not on a tv or cable channel? Yes I am a dinosaur

I agree that the character is a complex one. I just find Heady’s acting to be a little ham-handed.
But season 4 was definitely her best – especially the scene with Tywin and Tommen in the sept. Her finest moment in the show.
Are you able to love outside the UK? Seems unfortunate that such a universal emotion could be restricted by a national boundary.

I disagree, I don’t find anything about Lena acting “ham-handed”. She’s been on point since day one. Her acting during Blackwater was one of the shows best performances. I also think that her best performance in season 4 was when she was building her case against Tyrion and had scenes with Oberyn, Margaery, and Tywin

Ayup. I have a dear friend who lives in NYC with the same problem. And I have the reverse problem as well – when I want to call her, I can never remember how many hours dif we are. Its a good thing that Google usually answers the question, but still…
Just answered my own question – we are with MST so are two hours delayed. Im just glad I don’t live in Northern Az, around the Navajo nation. Because they are part of the federal government they do follow DST. Makes life very confusing when I used to go to school up there.
