Let’s take a break from Game of Thrones series finale madness for some very welcome Con of Thrones news! The con announced today that GoT star Joe Dempsie (Gendry Baratheon) will appear at Con of Thrones 2019 on Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14. This year the con is taking place in Nashville, Tenn., at the Music City Center July 12–14. Tickets are available for purchase at ConOfThrones.net/register.
Autograph and photograph experiences with Dempsie are available for purchase now!
Autographs are $65 and photographs are $85. Previously announced special guests for CoT 2019 include Game of Thrones stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Hannah Murray (Gilly), Game of Thrones Concept Artist Kieran Belshaw (Season 5-8), fan favorite podcasts Binge Mode, History of Westeros and A Storm of Spoilers, and wolf ambassadors from Wildefell Wolves. More guests will be announced at a later date!
Watchers on the Wall is thrilled to once again be the programming partner for Con of Thrones. This year the con features over 150 hours of original programming, with in-depth discussions about the series, Special Guest Spotlight interviews, live recordings of your favorite podcasts, and so much more. We recently announced the complete panel schedule for your previewing pleasure- you can check it out at ConOfThrones.net/schedule.
Joe was an amazing guest last year. I’m so stoked to have him back this summer in Nashville, and I hope we see you all there too!
Gendry!
Lord Gendry Baratheon of Storm’s End.
Pretty courageous to show his face. There are bound to be a handful of smartasses in the audience who’ll give him grief for getting shot down by Arya.
Speaking of ASNAWP… Wouldn’t it be nice if Maisie were added to the Guest Lineup? I mean, why not? If not this year, then when?
I don’t mean to sound rude but is it normal to charge such high amounts for autographs and photos? Seems unusual to me.
I’m still trying to figure out how to get there!
Jon Snowed,
That is not unusual for one of the stars of Game of Thrones, no. Prices are going to vary from convention to convention, actor to actor.
Joe Dempsie impressed me with his role as “Harry” in Deep State.
I also like his new haircut (as compared to the shaved buzz cut look).
I think he is already doing well in his #AfterThrones life.
It’s great that he’s coming to see the fans.
Sue the Fury,
Thanks for claryfing Sue, I wish everyone who attends a fantastic time.
(Squee! Looks like I might actually be able to go!!)
(I do wish Bridge4 and New Rockstars we’re on a few panels, but I’m looking forward to WotW panels!)
Ten Bears,
A girl can wish!
LL of Darkwater,
Bridge4 is on panels- 5 of them, actually. Speaker listing
I cannot attend, but I am looking forward to watch some of the footage with Joe Dempsie.
Last year I watched a lot of his work. He made a fine villain in The Fades. Southcliffe was great. A TV movie called Ellen was great as well. I can’t wait for his next short film Eighteen Weeks, it sounds very interesting.
LL of Darkwater,
tell me please, are you on YouTube writing comments as LL? There is someone named LL that I always see in the comment sections. 😄
Cliohna,
(Nope… Not me. I’m always ‘LL of Darkwater’ Seeing ‘LL’ has jumped off the page at me a few times! Mostly, I’m a lurker – it’s pretty much only very recently that I have begun to comment, on YouTube and Watchers on the Wall.)
I’m a big fan of Bridge4.
THANK YOU!
I kept looking through the schedules and couldn’t find his name in there… Doesn’t help that there is SO MUCH to sift through.
So many panels, so many decisions to make… Not that I’m hype about it or anything!
(Tickets managed, transportation locked… accommodations not so much – but I’ll be there!)
::: starts sifting through garb bins, what to wear, what to wear? :::
Sue the Fury,
So many panels to attend, so little time.
(Is it too late for Andrew McClay to start on the convention circuit? Just a thought.)
🙂
