  1. I had A Game of Thrones going in the car this morning – the audiobook. I’m worried if Roy Dotrice doesn’t do Winds of Winter they’re going to pick someone awful and wreck the whole series for me. Like the guy they tried for Feast for Crows – listening to him was like beating my head against the wall. The book got much better after they brought Dotrice back to record it.

  2. I am the sword in the darkness.
I am the watcher on the walls.
I am the shield that guards the realms of men.
I pledge my life to the Nights Watch,
for this night, and all the nights to come.

  3. Give me a “J”!
    Give me an “O”!
    Give me an “I”!
    Give me a “N”!
    Give me a “T”!

    What’s that spell? JOURNAL!

  5. Really beautiful cover – a perfect journal to keep track of all the faces I use as disguises.

    🙂

    Congratulations to Chris Butera.

  6. It’s about -13 F here in the Midwest (with the wind chill) and think about the epic sonnets I would compose with one of these journals. It’s been winter all year. And will continue with no end in sight.

  10. Is the back cover the Black door? It looks that way in the picture. That would be cool.
