  1. Congrats Onion Knight don’t cry! And if the prints are half as ferocious as their new owner, the Boltons are doomed.

  2. Well done Onion Knight – I expect any tears you shed on this news will be tears of joy.

  3. At least I won’t have to smuggle this into my home!!! Thanks so much!!!

Now how do I claim this prize; do I have to sail anywhere to get it?

  4. Ten Bears,

Good call… just did…hopefully I hear from them soon…Thanks Ten Bears!!!

Question: Is there a Ten Maiden Fairs too? lol

  5. Dame of Mercia:
Well done Onion Knight – I expect any tears you shed on this news will be tears of joy.

lolll Quite witty!!!! But Onion Knight don’t cry…

  6. Congrats, Onion Knight! I expect you will be looking at your prize smiling – not only because you have won, but also for (still) being alive.

  7. Onion Knight don’t cry,

I hope you have heard back from them by now.

I had tried the send you a further reply two days ago but every time I pressed “Post Comment” I kept getting that pesky “That Page Not Found” error message. (I had felt a little bad about my Saaladhor Saan reply; if I’d won, I’d want to know exactly how to claim my prize.)

I had gone back to look at the Contest rules from the original post earlier this month. All it said about claiming the prize was: “The winner must respond within 72 hours of notification or will forfeit the prize…. Winners may be responsible for local taxes/importing fees. The winner must have a valid shipping address.”
I don’t know if “notification” meant the post announcing you as the winner on 5/22/18. I also don’t know what “respond” meant, but you surely did post an acknowledgement in response to the announcement the next morning: 5/23/18 at 9:10 am. All I could think of to “respond” further was my suggestion to try the site’s “Contact Us” page. I hope that worked.

Since today, 5/25/18, is three days (72 hours) from the announcement, I hope you’ll confirm that you made contact and your prize is on its way. Even if by slow boat with dark sails on a moonless night, evading a blockade around your besieged castle.

  8. Hahaha thatd be my own fault..I’m the one who started the Gendry Shipping Economy company in the first place!

  9. Onion Knight don’t cry,

That’s good to know! Glad your prize is on its way. Thanks for replying.

I still don’t know why some of my attempted replies to you elicited that “Page Not Found” error message. Maybe it’s that old practical joker, the Lord of Light, intervening in human affairs just for kicks.

As a wise man once said:

“Every Lord I’ve ever met has been a c*nt. Can’t see why the Lord of Light should be any different.”
