If you’ve ever had that Littlefinger desire to see yourself on the Iron Throne, now is your chance! To our Westerosi fans in The Big Apple, you could sit the Thousand Blades of Aegon’s enemies and even be carried through the city like the Queen Regent herself.

In honor of HBO’s new standalone streaming service HBONOW, cab service Uber has teamed up with HBO to bring the royal treatment to some lucky NYC fans.

Today and tomorrow from 11am-5pm, users can access this feature through Uber’s mobile app by using the code “ThroneRides” to request a pedicab ride or photo op with the Throne.

The pedicab rides will be available in Manhattan between 14th and 59th Street and can carry up to 2 passengers (with a limit of 30 minutes).

The Throne itself will conveniently travel to you for your photo op but cannot be used for rides.

So get practicing that royal wave! And if you are one of the lucky fans to ride / photo op with the Throne, tweet us a picture using #RideofThrones.

  1. I had to look up what a pedicab was. Also I learnt today that Manhattan was a part of NYC and not a city in its own right.

  2. Wow … both Nate and Of the night. One for the post (congrats) … the other for learning every day.

    Sue, my eyes hurt 😀
