HBO has released thirteen stills, taken by Gary Moyes and Ollie Upton, for the sixth episode of House of the Dragon, featuring an older Rhaenyra, Laenor, Alicent and Laena along with their (mostly) silver-haired progeny.
First off, we see that, a decade on, Lyonel (Gavin Spokes), Harwin (Ryan Corr) and Larys (Matthew Needham) are still going, well, strong.
Harwin is also present in the training yard with Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel), Jacaerys Velaryon (Leo Hart) and Aegon Targaryen (Ty Tennant).
Elsewhere in the Red Keep, Criston exchanges foreboding looks with an older Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke).
Alicent shares a tender moment with her daughter, Helaena Targaryen (Evie Allen).
Older Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) and Laenor Velaryon (John MacMillan) present their new baby to the queen.
On the other side of the Narrow Sea, Daemon Targaryen spends time with his daughters Baela (Shani Smethurst) and Rhaena Targaryen (Eva Ossei-Gerning), and wife, Laena Velaryon (Nanna Blondell).

Aegon is giving serious Joffrey type vibes and I’ve not even seen him on screen. Can’t say I’m overly excited by seeing any of the kids but I appreciate some of them are important to the overall story.

Can only imagine the entitlement Alicent has been feeding Aegon for 10 years. He looks like he’d rather go to the beach and have beers with Squee than train in the yard.
HBO released a video clip of the moments leading up to Rhaenerya and Leanor presenting their baby to Alicent. Knowing how I felt after just giving birth, this situation is not on. Put me on Team Black for this move alone.
At least Daemon’s daughters are super cute and really can’t get my head around what kind of father he’ll be. But I’d be up for a whole episode of “Daemon Knows Best.”

At this point, I’m mostly on Team Laenor” than any of the rest. Dude is beyond decent. That clip made me so irritated with Alicent, as it was supposed to, hee.
Hate to be that guy (actually, no), but Corlys sure switched sides to be part of the Strong family… also he looks suspiciously like Larys Strong. 😀
Other than that, damn, that’s more of a time jump than I anticipated. Also, so many kids! Must have been “fun” on set. (What’s the saying? Never work with kids and animals.)

Really looking forward to seeing Ty Tennant as Aegon II. As a book reader, I loathe Aegon and Aemon but I’m very fond of Ty (and his parents and his grandpa) so I can’t wait to see how he does here.

There’s something in Ty Tenant as Aegon – his attire, haircut, facial expressions – which reminds me of historical films set in the 17th century.
I’m really excited to see Helaena, who is one of ASOIAF’s most tragic characters IMO. Also super stoked for Aegon & Aemond One Eye, especially when they are grown up.
