  1. Yeah, Wyman has not been cast. While there are a few characters advertised whose castings we don’t know, I think the changes being made to the Winterfell story make it evident at this point that he’s out.

As far as the changes/merges being made in that portion of the story, I get the sense that there is going to be very little middle ground for this plotline: it will either work really well, or it will be incredibly dumb.

  2. Sean C.,

I don’t want to agree, because it sounds so black and white, but… I think I kind of do, in a sense. Introducing said character into that storyline, with yet another psycho close to this character… it’s such a delicate thing to handle. They could fuck it up so easily or it could be genius. I don’t think any of us will feel indifferent to this storyline.

  3. Appreciate the feedback. The Wyman casting bit is on me – I thought I had seen it somewhere but perhaps it was just rumors.

  4. What on earth was that music at the end? What happened to the usual awesome one?!

Really interesting to hear some of your opinions on where things are going. Its a real shame that Kate’s no longer with you guys considering that it was her and Micah that came up the idea of doing sullied episodes though.

Andrews insight was great, even if he does sound like everything he says is a question. Really distracted me from enjoying listening to what he was saying.

Wow, this seems like a really negative post! Don’t take it that way, I really enjoyed it, keep up the awesome work 🙂

  5. I have to say, I really don’t see a problem with the show spoiling book readers (and I say this as a 100% sullied book reader). Book readers who wish to remain unsullied until the books come out don’t have to actually watch the show. It’s so simple.

    Happy St. Paddy’s day!

  6. Best explanation I’ve heard in response for why the show would include the Brotherhood if there will be no LSH. Maybe all in the timing of D&D’s meeting with Martin. Thanks for bringing that out for me guys.

  7. Kate left?! 🙁

That’s what I get for falling behind on GoO episodes. That sucks. She brought such fantastic energy to the show.

  8. I enjoyed the conversation and observations, but Andrew’s up speak and vocal fry made it difficult to make myself listen to the entire episode. Thanks for the sullied episode – always a treat!
