  1. Would really like to know if HBO is confused about what to do.
Benioff seems not sure how many episodes and HBO has said nothing.
HBO has problems , it seems, if Westworld goes bust … what then?

Production starts in September? What about cast contracts ? That will have effect on season 8 also.
Season 7 pretty late airing next year?

Pretty sure they know by now as pre-production appears to be in full swing. Doesn’t mean they’re going to tell us as the cone of secrecy seems to have gone up. I don’t think actor contracts will be a problem. Does anyone really see HBO nickel and dimeing the actors at this point? They’ll probably have a one year contract with an option for next season once it’s officially green lighted.

  3. Enjoyable listening, but if you guys are going to call yourselves GoT geeks, you need to learn how the actors pronounce their names. Lena Heady is pronounced ‘Heedy,’ not ‘Heddy.’

So saith Stannis the One True Grammarian.

David and Dan are going to be on the panel at San Diego Comic Con and I’m pretty sure that they’ll have a bit to say about how many episodes we’ll be seeing in seasons 7 & 8.
Hopefully we’ll get a new casting video – Sarella played perhaps by Samira Wiley from OITNB provided she can do a competant British accent, Marwyn – played by either Idris Elba or Clark Peters, both from The Wire, Rhaegar – played by either Sam Claflin if they want a big warrior looking guy or Jesse Eisenberg if they want a bookish Rhaegar, and if Howland Reed is in season 7 then I really hope that Michael Emerson is cast in the role – he may be available too with Person of Interest recently finishing up.

  5. Can you ask Ramin about the music that played in the end credits of Winds Of Winter? Someone said they thought is was a combination of the Starks & Targaryen themes music?

  6. Random thought: I wonder if we will see a Lannister Lion in King’s Landing for the opening credits. Can’t wait for S7!

  7. The thing I’m actually most excited about is going back to the books soon! (Please tell me it’s soon!) The fact that Cersei and Jaime’ chapters are up next is fantastic of course in the wake of the season finale… it’s almost as if you guys knew beforehand when you decided to pause the read-through a little earlier than originally planned. 😉

  8. Game of Thrones season 7 with 7 episodes will have an outline based on the Faith the Seven…

1st episode of season 7 will probably be Father’s Day June 18th 2017…

Littlefinger will tell Sansa who Jon Snow’s parents are. Sansa will find Howland Reed to confirm who Jon Snow’s parents are. The Tower of Joy could have a 3rd scene – this time from Howland Reed’s memory.

2nd episode – all the Stark Winterfell allies will debate if Lyanna Stark’s son should remain King of the North

3rd episode – Jon Snow or Jamie Lannister shows his warrior skill.

4th episode – Brienne of Tarth/Jamie … Does Brienne kill Jamie or kill herself????

5th episode – Sam Tarry being a smith discovering how to make valerian steel.

6th episode – could be a dany Targaryen Crone episode making a Queen’s Landing at King’s Landing

7th episode – the white walkers and The wall is destroyed.

  9. firstone,

Sorry to be a buzzkill but I think while this is a nice idea it’s a little far-fetched considering there may be eight episodes not seven… I don’t believe we know yet…?!
Also, Brienne has no reason to kill Jaime (or herself for that matter), they had that conversation, they both made it very clear that they did not intend to kill each other now or ever, and Jaime let her leave quietly and completely unharmed… lmao I don’t understand why so many people desperately want these two to end up killing one another, when they’ve saved each other in more than one way and at this point have unparalleled respect and love for each other.

  10. Mazzie,

I heard my Brienne storyline might be in the books and I was trying to make fit into my theory. 7 of 7 of theory. NO buzzkill… just my guess and I am not too upset that you don’t agree with me. I’ll get over it.

I think the 1st episode will be about Littlefinger/ Sansa and Jon’s father and final episode will be about the white walkers and the wall.
and the middle episodes?… time will tell. Thanks for all your love and support.

  11. firstone,

I do agree that Brienne and Jaime may meet again and even that Brienne may undertake the task of killing Jaime under Arya’s demand. However, Jaime is set to turn against Sercey – if looks could kill, she would be already dead. So, the probability that Jamie and Brienne will end up fighting on the same side is much higher.

  12. Probably no Emmys for them then for season 7. I really don’t think a summer return is all that wise quite frankly. But they’ll probably get the ratings anyway, though I don’t know if they top season 6 ratings with a summer return, the dead period for television ratings.
