Add yourself to the Hall of Faces!

Hall of Faces

The eerie hall from the House of Black and White has been central to teasing the upcoming season of Game of Thrones, with familiar characters from the show appearing in it. Now as part of HBO’s promotional campaign for season 6, fans have the opportunity to join the Hall of Faces!

Visit TheHallofFaces.com to upload or take a photo of yourself, and take your place in the hall.

The Game of Thrones Twitter says  it’s US Only at the moment but “Coming Soon Internationally.”

The process is fairly simple. After uploading or creating a photo, you increase the photo in size until your chin and forehead line up in the right spots as directed, and then click “I’m Done.” After the Hall of Faces image is created, you can Save the image if you’re happy with it. Then you can Share it with others, or click the arrow to the right of Share to save/download the image.

    By the way… I don’t know where to ask this question: does anyone know when we’re getting a tracklist and release date for the soundtrack? I’m curious because the tracklist might hint at some events that take place during the season.

    I hope whatever money HBO saved by putting forward this lackluster marketing campaign at least went to something good.

  13. I really struggle to get behind this whole dull Hall of Faces marketing campaign. It was hardly the most well received storyline (not bad either, just a bit vanilla) last year, so it’s strange that they’re focusing on this so much.

    Also, it is pretty amateur and lazy to only be available for US residents for the moment. There is no reason these days that this sort of thing should be delayed. No reason at all. What the hell are they waiting for? It isn’t that long until the premiere really.

    I just hope we get something exciting soon, because apart from those photos last month everything has been a bit too bland for my liking.

    Thank you! I hope they saved up for the music (it’s always a highlight every season for me) and the direwolf CGI! We need more direwolf appearances! The marketing is disappointing.

    Haha. I definitely feel like a dead GoT character now. I was thinking more along the lines of one of Robb’s men that died at the Red Wedding (an Umber perhaps). After all, a great swordsman of Braavos wouldn’t be dead (fingers crossed). 😉

    they have been reported for selling on users bandwidth. so a peer to peer not a real vpn service. means others are sharing your internet bandwidth. it also raises concerns for the security of your computer and others gaining access to it. A hacker also used the hola server to snd a Ddos attack overloading someones server, it just does not seem very secure. i am not sure if you can poast links here but if you yahoogle hola review you will see quite a few warnings. just be careful 🙂

  71. I’m actually really happy they are barely releasing anything. I like to go in completely spoiler free so I avoid all of the “making of” videos, production rumors, photos, and other such things. It gets harder and harder to avoid such stuff as viral links appear everywhere these days – on the sidebar of Facebook, Twitter, and on Yahoo. Also, every time I flip to HBO I have to live in terror that a trailer will show up. With this minimalist marketing campaign they’re doing this year, I have been able to look at everything without getting major spoilers which I’ve enjoyed.

    One has to wonder if they’re even going to release a trailer at all – if they haven’t done it by this point, why would they even do it at all?

    Woah that’s the stuff of nightmares! Well done you and everyone else who’s created the possibly less than serious ones. The Toronto mayor looks like the moon, must be the round face.

    They are apparently extending this to the rest of us eventually so I’m dying to have a go with some er…‘cultural icons’ 😀

    Also, I know we’ve discussed the possible date for the trailer endlessly, and been endlessly dissappointed, but there seem to be several official showings of Hardhome on the big screen next monday, the day the S5 dvd/blu ray comes out. Have we ruled out it being shown afterwards? Do they always announce trailers in advance rather than springing them on people? ?

And of course what I forgot to do was mention that you can enter a draw for a pair of tickets to see Hardhome, with special guest(s), at the Odeon cinema, Leicester Square, London next Monday (14th) at 7pm. There seem to have been a number of competitions for tickets but Flicks and the City looks like the only one that hasn’t closed yet. Good luck to anyone who tries it 🙂
