At the 2016 New York Toy Fair, which opened today and will run through Tuesday, Funko and Dark Horse revealed new figures of some of Game of Thrones’ most popular characters.
Funko introduced several new lines of Game of Thrones figures.
Their booth included a Dorbz-styled (and uncharacteristically cheerful) Jon Snow, Eddard Stark, Night King, Tyrion and Daenerys …
Game of Thrones Mystery Minis …
New Pop!Vinyl figures of Margaery Tyrell, Bronn, Jorah Mormont, Stannis Baratheon, Melisandre, a Harpy, an Unsullied, the Night King and Rhaegal as well as a Pop!Rides figure of Daenerys on Drogon and a Hot Topic-exclusive Drogon figure …
And several 3.75″ figures including one of Jon Snow, Sam Tarly and Ygritte.
Furthermore, Dark Horse Deluxe showcased its new Night King figure, the latest in a series of Game of Thrones figures that include Brienne of Tarth, Jorah Mormont and Cersei Lannister. The Night King is slated for in-store release this September. Figures of Ygritte, Margaery Tyrell, Oberyn Martell, Grey Worm and Varys are currently in development.
Dark Horse also plans to release a limited-edition bust statue of the Night King in March.

Yes, that is what I meant. And I agree, Ramsay seems like the closest match. Still looks a little off to me, but I can’t think of anyone else, so I guess it must be him.
It’s baffling that Cersei hasn’t gotten a mystery mini yet. Ah well. I’ll be happy with any of this new set, but, oh man, I had no idea how badly I wanted a Tormund figure.

I thought that was Tywin to the right of Sam, but it seems it’s Davos. The white hair and arched eyebrow confused me into thinking it was Tywin but on closer inspection the clothes seem more like Davos’s style.

Since Varys, Tormund and Davos got mystery mini’s I wonder if they will get Pop Vinyl’s next year. I feel other characters that have mini’s have Pop Vinyl’s.

That Davos figure looks identical to the Tywin, kind of lame exact pose and all. I have every one of these figures, including the In Memorium figures. And reslly the Davos/Tywin I think they could have done a better job with. All the others are awesome though! And why no Cersei yet? This is the 3rd (4th if you count the In Memorium) set!

Dany’s number 15 is maybe because it’s a special kind/design? The cost for Dany riding Drogon is 24.99 while the rest are the standard Pop price. I know there’s a bunch of “special” Dany sets, like her with Drogo, or the metallic Dany and Drogon, but I don’t remember if those are numbered.

What the fuck HBO… if you don’t wanna show us any footage, you could’ve at least given us some new voice overs to speculate over. This dumb little animation (that is a complete rip off of some fan art posted here a few weeks back) is in no way worthy of being announced and hyped up like that. This is just trolling. Call me when you actually have something to show me, I’m not in any way impressed by your low budget video game cutscene level animation skills.

That’s my problem with it too. Sure it’s alright, but at this moment in time we want to see/hear something new.
It’s almost like they don’t have a full trailer ready, but because we’re getting antsy they thought they’d cobble something together quickly to boost Vinyl.

I had to close my blinds just to watch it’s so dark. Why do they keep bringing Cat up if she’s deader than dead and never coming back? I get the sense that the Long Night affects magic everywhere just as Dany/dragons are stronger in each others presence and Mel is stronger at the Wall. Maybe the Long Night makes R’hllor stronger.
And once again Sansa is ignored by these shitty doll companies. WTF?!

On the morning of the first day of the Toy Fair, I happened to be waiting to catch a bus out of town across the street for a family emergency, and saw a small crew of people going inside carrying boxes labeled “Game of Thrones merc,” or words of that effect ( I was more than a little distracted by the freezing cold weather). Can’t say I wasn’t tempted for a moment to check it out (and the Javits Center is well-heated).
Btw, if you ever happen to be in NYC during the annual Toy Fair, I highly recommend checking it out. It’s a lot of fun.
