This one wasn’t quite as stressful as last week’s Twitter post, thank R’hllor. My old heart wouldn’t’a been able to take it.

This one was still fun though. No one got BANNED (#BANNED), but some of you suckers came close.

  6. I don’t think I really noticed until my third viewing that Mace had a squire leading his horse the whole time like he was in a carnival kiddy pony ride pen.

  10. Axey, I love you! Thank you for compliling these for us! This has made me laugh all afternoon at work–on “Month-End” “Crazy Level Stress” day, no less.

    I had a hundred and one jokes about Edmere/Black Jack/Tobias Menzies is in too many shows I love. I think I’m the only one who watches both GoT and Outlander. And I’m the only one who sees this poor actor and says, “Beat Black Jack!! Get him Filtch! Feed him to your cat!. . . oh, wait. . .wrong fandoms.”

    I’m a confused old lady. But, happy to see Hot Uncle Benjen and Dany riding Drogon. 🙂

    I watch both shows and that was exactly my reaction. My mum didn’t recognise him at first because she has gotten used to his terrifying Black Jack Randall persona. She was like “who is this poor man?” xD

    Meera doing a year’s worth of cardio. And I’m totally on the Bran/Meera ship now too.

    I was so hyped over Coldhands/Benjen!! It makes me happy to see all the tweets stoked about it also.

    Yep, that’s my habit for ten weeks out of the year. I watch the episode, then chase tweets all night until like… noon the next day. Some people tweet so much they can have 10 pages of scrolling to get through just to find the beginning of their GoT tweets. Would be harder if I waited.

    In an Q and A just before season started nik was asked “what advice do you have for Jaime?” and he answered “maybe rethink your relationship with your sister??”

    And when asked who he’d like Jaime to have scenes with in the future he says “Brienne / Gwen Christie”

  24. Ah, it’s a happy Tuesday because the Tweet Review is in. These are my guaranteed-to-laugh-out-LOUD moments, and this was no exception. Thank you so much, Axey.

    Vegas showgirl on his head, indeed. Poor old Mace could probably use that. I tried to be cool, but I was hyped over Benjen, too. You guys were ranting about the rabbit’s blood, but Bran took it like it was no big thing. Gotta get Benjen some cream for his face, tho, his face is looking a little … pitted? Those dragonglass shards are a bitch.

    I don’t care if you guys weren’t pumped about seeing Dany on Drogon again, I was so happy. It has to be a combination of the sight of this tiny little girl on this big big lizard and that amazing music. It’s the music. Are they going to nominate Ramin Djawadi for an award THIS year? He’s needing some love, he deserves it, his music for this show is thrilling! that’s my humble opinion anyway

  25. Nice recap once again! Here is recent interview with Jack Bender, who says next year will have 7 episodes. While that is consistent with some previous reports, i suspect we can take this as confirmed now. It might also indicate that there is a fair chance Bender is coming back next season…

    Hairwatch part II: Kit Harington has shaved his beard off. What does it mean? Does the Red Woman once again take up a role as his personal groomer next season? Does Jon get sick of getting food stuck in his mo’? Does a future unknown love interest object to the beard burn when they kiss (up there or “down there”)? Has Spring arrived, thereby negating the need for a cosy face warmer?

    Or, ok, he probably just got fed up with it irl.

  29. I finally had a chance to read them all and I have to say I love GoT fans. Probably the funniest set of tweets yet! The Mace stuff killed me! XD The love for Sam, Gilly, and Benjen made me happy also. Next episode should be intense!

    I saw some say that the “troupe’ should be kept on just to do the previously on recap each week. That would be gold!

    Agreed. I love the “meta” aspect (per Sean Collins’ review) that their troupe brings to the game….as well as a brilliant extension of the Mercy chapter from TWoW.

    He shaved it all off even stache. Yet, his hair is still long-ish. Someone said that he starts filming that Life of Donovan movie (sorry I don’t remember the full title) next month and that has me wondering if he’s even in GOT next season. They do start filming in July too correct?

    I believe the play is only running another 2 or 3 weeks. Probably just wanted a change. Strangely he reminds me of Heath Ledger now.
