This year’s Con of Thrones may have come and gone, but there’s plenty of memories and lots of material to roll out, starting with a very special LIVE episode of The Night’s Cast, the official podcast of Watchers on the Wall!
The podcast was recorded Sunday, July 14th and included an all-star cast of contributors: Axey, Oz of Thrones, Vanessa, JoeMagician, Pat Sponaugle, Petra, Bex and Samantha. Also, the podcast covered eight characters, I think: Jaime, Jon, Cersei, Bronn, Varys, Theon, Sansa and Dany. I may weigh in on those.
Query: What about Arya Super Ninja Assassin Warrior Princess aka ASNAWP 👸🏻 and Sandor Clegane? 🐓🐓 Did they each have too many Best Character Moments to narrow them down to three choices each?
Yes, yes, I know. I am biased. I thought the last 9 1/2 minutes of S4e1, “Two Chickens” – I mean “Two Swords” – from “Little lady wants a pony?” to Little lady getting a pony, was the best scene out of all 73 episodes, and I thought S4e7, “Mockingbird” was the best episode out of all 73, chock full of great character moments. it featured Sandor telling Arya how Gregor burned him; Bronn declining to be Tyrion’s trial by combat champion against the Mountain; and Oberyn’s wonderful “That’s just a baby”/”I will be your champion” speech. Not to mention Littlefinger, Lysa and the Moon Door to conclude the episode.
