Hannah, it was my favorite, too. Who would have thought a Con of Thrones panel could be so moving, insightful and inspirational? I completely fell in love with Paula Fairfield. What a dynamic, compassionate, multi-talented woman!
And thanks so much for posting this! I was hoping I would have a way to share it!

Nice!
Can’t wait to listen to this interview, which I’ve been looking forward to since the incredibly creative and talented Ms. Fairfield’s appearance at the Con was first announced here at WoW. 😉
I just listened to this interview a second time. It’s phenomenal. Paula is awesome! She’s so incredibly passionate and thoughtful about both her work and her relationship to the show in general, and her comments about how great all the people that she works alongside are – including her lovely tribute to David and Dan – was extremely touching. Game of Thrones is very lucky to have her in its creative ranks! Furthermore, from the genuinely effusive enthusiasm that she expressed regarding what’s in store for Season 7, it sounds like we’re about to see and hear something truly special.
Also … I’ll never look at that scene with Dany and Drogon on the ship in “Valar Doeharis” quite the same way again. 😉
