  1. That looks outstanding. Loved Tywin and I love what Charles Dance did with him.

Thanks for another giveway WotW and Dark Horse!

  2. Damn, that really is a fantastic figurine! I can totally see that one standing on my desk, glaring disapprovingly.

  3. Like my mom said…Taiwan Lannister is awesome. 😀

Charles Dance as Tywin was such a presence in the show.I miss him very much.

“A lion doesn’t concern himself the opinions of a sheep”

  4. “And who are you,” the proud Lord said,
“that I must bow so low? Only a cat of a different coat,
that’s all the truth I know.”

“In a coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has
claws. And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.”

  5. And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that
Lord of Castamere. But now the rains
weep o’er his hall, with no one there to hear.

Yes now the rains weep o’er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

  6. “Some battles are won with swords and spears, others with quills and ravens.” – Tywin, to Tyrion Lannister

  7. I hope we won’t get a tie-win.

God I’m so sorry that joke is so bad and doesn’t even make sense sorry sorry

  8. In the end, he got the throne he deserved.

Greatly miss Charles Dance’s portrayal on the show. His scene with Diana Rigg discussing the marriages between their houses is still one of my favorite GOT scenes ever.

    “A sword-swallower through and through.”

  9. Only got the Jaime figure so far but looking to start a collection. Glad to see The Hound is upcoming.

  10. Explain to me how it is more noble to slay ten thousand men in battle than a dozen at dinner.

  11. I know I’m not supposed to, but I miss Tywin (the boss) as a character. Charles Dance literally owned every scene he was in…such a refined actor.

  12. Tywin was such a jerk… But he was a character that I couldn’t hate for some reason lol. I think it’s because how he treated Arya lol oh well, I might actually miss him!

  13. Tywin has always been my favorite character in the show and the books. And I would say he’s also the most misunderstood character.

Charles Dance was perfect as Tywin, absolutely perfect. I would say he was the best actor on the show, although there is plethora of great actors to chose from.

  14. Charles Dance brought Tywin Lannister to life in such an amazing way. His scenes with Maisie will always be some of my faves.

  15. In too
Looks rather scary. Hopefully enough to get me back to working on uni stuff if he moves to my desk

  16. Unlike Tywin, I don’t shit gold, so it would be nice to have this kind of things once in a while.

  17. I need this Tywin to glare at me until I finish writing my dissertation. My Dany figure just isn’t scary enough anymore.

  18. Charles Dance alias Tywin Lannister was such a great and strong character. I’d like to have him watch over my house. 😀

  19. I met Charles Dance in King’s Landing,…sorry Dubrovnik in 2004. Very kind man and fantastic actor. He was so perfect for the role that I hoped Tyrion’s arrow would miss him even though I read the books.

  20. If you want I can arrange for you to be carried ( the figurine) 🙂 grand maester gizmo — I’ve always served lannister
