    1. It would be nice to have something to remember him by since we will no longer be seeing him 😉

    2. He’s got Longclaw in all of them, perfect. Kinda want one of him on the ground “bleeding out” though.

    5. I had me some Jon Snow in a weird sex dream the other night, which is strange because I am forever wondering what all his fan girls see in him. I am not a huge fan of The Bastard.

      TMI? Sorry….?

    6. “Frog-faced Lord Slynt sat at the end of the council table wearing a black velvet doublet and a shiny cloth-of-gold cape, nodding with approval every time the king pronounced a sentence. Sansa stared hard at his ugly face, remembering how he had thrown down her father for Ser Ilyn to behead, wishing she could hurt him, wishing that some hero would throw him down and cut off his head.”

      Several books later:

“I will not hang him,” said Jon. “Bring him here.”
“Oh, Seven save us,” he heard Bowen Marsh cry out.
The smile that Lord Janos Slynt smiled then had all the sweetness of rancid butter. Until Jon said, “Edd, fetch me a block,” and unsheathed Longclaw.

    7. Jon Snow is one of my favorite characters and I really want to win this! I just hope that he’s not dead though.

    8. Poll. By the end of the series will both Jon and Dany be alive? Both dead? Or one dead?

My theory: Jon will die saving the realm…Dany lives on

    9. Danny,

Happy accident as Bob Ross used to say. Not intentional or planned. GRRM was going to have Jon hang Slynt and fans convinced him that would be out of character for a man raised by Ned Stark who taught him “the man who passes the sentence should swing the sword.” GRRM agreed and changed it. Works out well with Sansa’s earlier thoughts but it was not intentional.

    10. SO SAD that Jon Snow is so very very gone from Game of Thrones. Would love the giveaway items to help ease my pain. 😉

    12. Since Jon Snow is deader than dead and will never ever return, I think I should win these little guys so I may erect an altar befitting the late Lord Commander and mourn him properly.

    14. lp,

Yeah, I heard about this before but I always found it interesting that Jon, more than anyone else in the series, except for perhaps Brienne, embodies the qualities of the heroes and knights in the stories that Sansa fancies so much at the start of the saga.

    15. I’m in the UK so not competing but there are some adverts running on the commercial TV stations (not just the paid for ones either) in the UK about how it is possible to buy hand-painted figures of Game of Thrones characters. I’ve been trying to peer to see if the figures are by any of the makers that have been mentioned on this site but haven’t managed to suss them out yet.

    21. Jon Snow package. Do I need further proof the only completely authentic hero of this piece is not dead? No, not really but the toys would be nice on my desk. Might want to throw in a version of Snow just to make it complete.

I was just looking at that still of Jon Snow bleeding out and I noticed that all the blood and stab wounds are around the stomach area.
Not only is there no blood where the heart is…there isn’t even a cut in his leather vest where his heart is

    23. As always, thanks for the chance to win, this would look great on my shelf at work 😀

You know re-watching season one, I completely forgot how badly Jon wanted to leave the wall to join Robb in the fight to save Ned. I know what his fate will ultimately end up being in this story (most likely, since nothing is certain), but it makes a lot more sense now that he will want to continue his journey and fight for what he believes in after his resurrection.

I know this is obvious to most, but I am not a book reader and its been a while since i’ve watched GOT from the beginning. I am really enjoying re-watching all the episodes and seeing how it all is intertwined together now that most of the clues in everyones story has almost been laid out.

I’d also like to thank all of the members of this place, its been such a joy (tower, perhaps) to read through everyones comments. Even though I haven’t read the books I feel like I have, lol. My brother is a huge GOT fan and has read the books I think twice and the other day I was basically schooling him on his GOT knowledge. This site has made me quite obsessed with the show and season 6.

    24. Here’s to the late, great Jon Snow!

Not how did he die, but how did he live?
Not what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
of a man as a man, regardless of birth.

Not, what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer,
to bring back a smile, to banish a tear?

Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
but how many were sorry when he passed away…

      (sniff)

    25. Great giveaway!! I hope I win this thing almost as much as I hope the next time we see Kit Harrington on GoT, it’s as Jon Stark, not Jon Snow!!

    26. Well, I must have this final tribute to the late, dead-forever, not-going-to-be-resurrected-by-Melisandre Jon Snow. Bring it … I have a suitable icy crypt (my freezer) to keep them in.
