After three teasers we finally have the full version in all it’s musical glory! Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin recruits the cast of Game of Thrones (both alive and dead, alike) to recreate the series in his image: a musical.
The feature is for Red Nose Day which is an organization that provides relief to children and young people across the U.S. and some of the world’s poorest communities. To donate to the cause, please follow the link here.

It appears that Kit’s stupid expression follows him everywhere, even when he isn’t acting.

Usually these “non-comedians trying to be funny” things suck ten-out-of-ten times, but that was pretty good.
What good sports! I loved all of the dialogue between the actors, especially John Bradley and Brody and Iwan and Alfie.

The only thing i missed is Iwan Rheon singing “Flayin’ Alive”. Complete with castrate Alfie Allen imitating the Bee Gees’ high pitch.
The Alfie and Iwan moment was hilarious.

My favorite thing might be the end though
The choreography was just crap! No fight scenes??? What kind of script was this? Is it plausible that Theon and Ramsey hug each other? This was purely fanfiction IMHO. And the costumes… meh…they didn’t even try to make costumes! Sorry but I am not going to donate and I will boycott the series in all eternity, that’s for sure…

Woah, Kit Harington is becoming hotter and hotter as he gets older.
The cast is simply amazing they always seem as if they genuinely enjoy their time together. There were quite a few great moments. Love the scene between Reek and Ramsey, and Jojen tricking Sam for the last nuggets.

I used to hate Chris Martin and Coldplay but now I love them.
As long as they actually make the album.
I think Iwan is by far the most attractive guy on the show, which I find particularly disturbing after the last episode. In this video, his geeky happiness reminded me so much of Daniel Radcliffe, oddly enough.
I must say that I do wish these songs were fully fleshed out, but I bet they only wrote snippets for each. I loved every single minute, although I’m not surprised. My all-time favorite comedic sketch is from a previous Red Nose Day, merging together the Catherine Tate Show and Doctor Who.
Bwahahaha oh god this was gold. The Red Wedding song is quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever heard and I’m sure it’s going to be stuck in my head for days. And Emilia’s rasta voice was good! The little “Chicken Nuggets of Doom” bit was hilarious. And I LOLed at John Bradley’s adoring expression when Kit was singing – it looked like he thought Kit was singing to him not Rose. Chris Martin gets MVP though. Dude is funny!

These things often fall flat (it is known) but it was a lot funnier than it really had the right to be. I approve.
