Game of Thrones at the 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards

Emmys

It’s that time of year again, when Game of Thrones cast members get dolled up in their best and head to Los Angeles to represent the show at the Emmy Awards.

Game of Thrones has already won four Emmys so far this year, at the Creative Arts ceremony held on August 16th, taking home awards for costuming, art direction, special and visual effects, and prosthetic makeup.

Tonight, they’ll be competing in five major categories:

Outstanding Drama Series, the award goes to “Breaking Bad”

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series – Peter Dinklage, the award goes to Aaron Paul of “Breaking Bad”

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series – Lena Headey, the award goes to Anna Gunn of “Breaking Bad”

Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series – “The Children,” by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the award goes to “Breaking Bad” for the episode “Ozymandias,” written by Moira Walley-Beckett.

Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series- “The Watchers on the Wall,” directed by Neil Marshall, the award goes to Cary Joji Fukunaga, for “True Detective”

Join us tonight as we take in the red carpet looks (photos below!) and cheer on Game of Thrones at the Emmys.

Update: The Emmys have now concluded. Unfortunately, Game of Thrones didn’t pick up any more awards tonight, but the show has won four Emmys total this year. Congratulations to Game of Thrones on the wins and on racking up such a huge amount of nominations this year!

Game of Thrones Spoiler Podcasts: A Sullied Podfest

PodcastsA few days ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming Game of Owns to the team, as Zack, Kate, Eric and Micah took the black with Watchers On The Wall. They dove right back into work with a new episode featuring a Tyrion chapter from A Storm of Swords.

Now we love our GOO, but there’s still room for other podcasts in our heart, particularly of the very Sullied variety. And so I thought today, it would be fun to share some great Game of Thrones podcasts that include spoilers from all five A Song of Ice and Fire books.
