In honor of Daenerys Targaryen and of all mothers, we’re throwing a worldwide giveaway this week, with three winners!

Our 1st Place Winner will receive a gorgeously detailed Daenerys Targaryen Figure, created by Dark Horse Comics. The 7 and a half inch-tall sculpted creation shows the khaleesi on her wedding day, receiving her precious dragon eggs. The eggs come in an ornamental hinged chest attached to the figure’s base.

2nd Place Winner will receive the Longclaw Letter Opener, a nine-inch long replica of Jon Snow’s Valyrian steel sword. The letter opener consists of a die-cast metal handle and stainless steel blade- the next best thing when Valyrian steel can’t be found. Opening letters will be more fun than ever with this baby.

Our 3rd Place Winner will be taking home The Official HBO Game of Thrones Coloring Book, packed with beautiful drawings of Westeros and your favorite characters, be they mothers, fathers, bastards or none of the above.

  1. Hold one prize for me!
It’s the first time when I’m “hodorring” at a giveaway. Let’s hope it means something.

  2. Although maybe not my favorite mother on the show, Cersei definitely deserves a mention. I wouldn’t want to mess with any of her children! Apparently the only one who can ruin her children’s lives and get away with it is her…

  3. Cersei is the best. Sure she has a small drinking problem and sleeps with a few men but there is no doubt that she loved her children. On the side, you have a great site and your podcasts are fabulous.

  4. Dany/mysa is hands down my favorite mother.
And her children happen to be three really bad ass Dragons 🙂

  5. My favourite mother – they all have their flaws so I will say Lyanna Stark for trying to do her best for Jon.

  6. Being a mother of fiery little beings myself, and an admirer of Daenerys, I would love that Daenerys statuette. I could certainly settle for the Longclaw letter opener with which to open all of my child related bills, though. 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity!

  7. It’s a toss up between Melessa Tarly and Gilly.
While the series doesn’t have a huge range of mothers, I think they are two of the best.

  8. I’m going Maege Mormont the She Bear. Kicking ass and taking names, raising fierce warrior daughters haha

  9. Is it compulsory to name my favourite mother in the show? It’s only now that I see this request mentioned. So, it’s a tie between Gilly and Lyanna.

  10. I’m gonna go ahead and say Dany is my favourite mother because not only are the dragons her kids, she puts her hopes and dreams and future in them. It’s more than a mother/child relationship, it’s about life and fire and blood. It’s magic. She managed to bring the most powerful magic creatures back into the world, I’ll never forget the S1 finale when I saw her at sunrise sitting in smoke and ashes, unharmed, holding her baby dragons. They came into the world that morning and brought light and warmth and fire. That’s what Dany will do, she will end the Long Night – the Mother of Dragons. Their song still gives me chills after all these years.

  11. All of the mothers have flaws, however, I don’t believe there is such a thing as a “perfect” mother, only one who tries her hardest for what she feels is best for her children. In that regard, I would have to pick Catelyn Stark.

  12. It’s about time for Arya, Sansa and Bran to meet their mother again. Maybe LF could be invited for their reunion dinner too.
    ‘Only Cat’ 🙂

  13. I have the limited edition damascus steel full size Ice & House Stark Infantry Shield but I guess I could use the Longclaw letter opener!

  14. Catelyn Stark. Although she had a (large) blind spot when it came to Jon, she was fiercely protective of her children. She even fought off a cat’s paw to save Bran!

  15. Mine would have to be Dany , she has so far went through the phases of motherhood. She lives up to her dragon mother lines… and xx dragon hatcher genes

  16. Lyanna Stark FTW…

Now give me the damn letter opener before I piss meself

  17. shared and i think dany is definitely the better mother she at least cares about them for them

  18. Danny of course. She has a good heart and is wise enough to listen to her hand, Tyrion, when the mad king side of her rears it’s ugly head (pun intended).

  19. Selyse Baratheon, because when it was cold she made sure that Shireen was warm for the rest of her life.

  20. I’ll take first or second prize please! (I’ll have to trade out if I win third – have 2 of those already!)

  21. Catelyn for sure. I know she isn’t as loved as I think she deserves in the fandom, but just as Cersei she always had her children’s best interests at heart. She was also one of my favorite characters both in the book and the show. I really wish we saw more of her…

  22. My favorite mother on GoT is (of course) Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, The Unburnt, rightful Queen of The Seven Kingdoms, Queen of Meeren and the Bay of Dragons, Khaleesi of The Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons because she is strong, fierce, brave, wicked and possesive and all the things she HAS to be.
I want to enter for the Second Price because I already own the figurine and the colouring book.

  23. Show version of catelyn stark is the best mother in my opinion. That scene with talisa in season 3 talking about Jon snow seeled it for me.

  24. Cersei. She’s absolutely horrible, but she loves her children above all else. As Tyrion said, “It’s your one redeeming quality–that and your cheekbones.”

  25. If I win the Dany figure, I’m going to cover the egg in a Cadbury creme egg foil wrapper.

  26. Favorite mother…. That is a tough one. It’s hard to decide between:

    1. Cersei. The most misunderstood, psychologically abused mother on the show. Tywin was an emotionally stunted jerk and taught her to hate. Robert was a manwhore who humiliated her and preferred a corpse to a real live girl. Gotta give her a pass on the incest: I mean, just LOOK at NCW.

    2. Lysa Arryn. Yes, she’s batsh-t crazy. Yes she’s still breastfeeding Milky. But I attribute some of her lunacy to being married off to a geezer, and most of it to her entanglement with DouchebagFinger. The Night King would’ve been a better suitor.

    3. Lady Crane. Though she’s not technically a mother, she was – however briefly – a maternal figure to my girl Arya.

    4. The valiant mother of the direwolf pups in S1e1. Fought a male stag and gave her life defending her babies. Ghost’s mommy – like Jon’s mommy – died protecting her baby boy. She’s Nymeria’s mom too: both Arya and her direwolf have been cast out in the world, and their survival is in part a testament to their DNA.

    I’ll go with… #3.

  27. Well it sure would be nice if half of the mothers in the series weren’t dead, but I’ll go with Cersei anyway.

  28. My favourite mother is definitely Karsi from the Hardhome episode. She wasn’t on our screens for long, but in that time we were presented with a clearly loving and determined mother who came to a tragic end.

  29. Cersei is the best mother in GOT. She always has her children’s future in mind. She loves them unconditionally (remember Joffrey) and to death. She would have done anything for them. In matters of her children she was uncompromising, overprotective, we saw compassion, forgiving, and loving towards them. Her children were her life. It’s the only thing that made her sane. Now what will become of her. I can’t wait to see what becomes of a mother with nothing to live for yet with so much power at hand!!

  30. I think both Cat and Daenerys did what any sane mother would do to protect her children.

  31. I know she’s Margery’s grandmother, but that means she’s also still a mother! Lady Olenna Tyrell, the queen of thorns, is my favorite GoT mother.

  32. Queen Daenerys of the House Targaryen,

First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men and Lord of the Seven Kingdoms.

    Long May Daenerys Reign

  33. I have to pick 3: 1. Lyanna Stark because she gave us Jon. 2. Olenna Tyrell because of her awesome relationship with Mace… er, I mean, Margaery. 3. Catelyn. She’s not perfect, but she’s the most realistic, non-psychotic, leading role mother we have in the story.

Should I win 1st place, please bump me down to 2nd and choose another for 1st. I’m not a figurine person, but I’d love Longclaw or the coloring book.

  34. Gotta love Cersei. She is one crazy lady, but she loves them babies.

    ❤Good Luck Mammas!!❤

  35. This figure would look great next to the Night King figure I won last time ^^

  36. Lady Lady Olenna Tyrell. Like me a mother and grandmother who tried to prtotect her grandchildren from the evil house of lannister and fails.

  37. Mothers of Dragon for sure!

I’d also like to make a shoutout to Molly Weasley

  38. Hi,gifts is really beautiful!Thank you,I play and Catelyn Stark is ma favorite mother(The Strength of Love).Twitter(ab.@frankykiff-RT)Facebook(franck.bar,like+share).Good luck to all!Highly July 17(=France:)

  39. Has to be Lyanna Stark for me. She’s Jon’s mother and that TOJ scene… Yeah, she’s my favorite for sure. <3
Lady Olenna would be my second place for sure!

  40. Oh boy….I think it’s a tie for me. Daenerys because, hello Mother of Dragons, but also, in an odd way, Cersei. Because even though she’s pretty nuts, she really does love her children. In a crazy psycho kind of way, but hey!

  41. The She-Bear, Maege Mormont. Not only was she the Head of House Mormont, she raised warrior daughters, not quivering, useless girls. She was not afraid to go to war with her liege Lord and crack some skulls.

  42. I’d have to say Lysa because her death gave me the funniest reaction that became a great memory of laughter with my family. “The cow jumped over the moon”

  43. Oh Queen of Thorns … even if her son is a doof, she made up for it with a great grandaughter

  44. I’m in with the Lyssa lovers. There is nothing squickier than a woman who breastfeeds her child waaaaaaaaaaaaay past when it is appropriate.

  45. Lady Catelynn is a beast of a mother, boy the way she stood up at the red wedding like that! She deserves a #1 Mother Ever goblet that’s for sure!!

  46. My favorite Mother on GoT is Gilly, because unlike the rest she really cares for little Sam, always watching over him.

Meanwhile the other moms either gloat about killing their daughter-in-law in the other room while her son jumps out of a window (Cersei), Or only claims to be a mother because she hatched some eggs (Daenerys), or does everything except be a good mother (Catelyn).

  47. Lyanna stark without who we would not have john snow or the rebellion that gave us the story we all love

  48. My mhysa of choice is Daenerys. (Though the wit of Lady Olenna and the devotion of Cat make them formidable candidates, they both lost when they played the game.)

  49. My favorite character is the Queen Mother, Cersei Lannister. She was a great mother for her children, not as good with the rest of humanity. *Crossing fingers for the giveaway*

  50. I’m going with Gilly. She’s a great mom, brave, resourceful, and smart. She’s managed to keep little Sam alive through unimaginable circumstances. Love her.

  51. Walda Frey, poor girl… from house Frey to house flay she deserved better even if she was a Frey 🙁

  52. Lyanna Stark – she made sure her child was in safe hands and protected. I feel like if she had lived, she would have been an epic mother.

  53. Catelyn Stark. No contest. She raised super strong and caring daughters and sons, and did her best to guide and protect them to her last breath. I hope I have been that successful (jury is still out…)

  54. This is my first Mother’s Day ? so I would love to win a prize (preferably second or third… not much use for ornaments at the moment! ?).

Gilly is my favourite mum. She has risked everything to save her baby and strives to better herself for him. I don’t believe that Dany didn’t know on some level that she was risking her baby by invoking blood magic to save Drogo and although Cersei loves her kids, I feel she unconsciously put her ego first and was indirectly the cause of their downfall. Just my two cents.

  55. Fav Mother on Game of Thrones = Lyanna Stark for giving us “The White Wolf” King in the North. Gave her life for him!

  56. My favourite mother in Game of Thrones/ASOIAF is Lyanna Stark. Because she carried and gave birth to the savior of the world. Azor Ahai!

  57. My favorite mother is of course Daenerys Targaryen, mother of dragons! ?

  58. No one has said Ellaria Sand? 🙂

Me neither. I’ll go with Gilly, as she’s the only purely decent mother on the show. And for different reasons, Oberyn Martel…because he was a bad mother ***ker!

  59. I’m in for the vote!
Though Drogons egg was dark red til black and not bright red! That’s a very important de

  60. Gh3ttoK!nG.,

huh… My message got cut… Well, then again!

    I’m in for the vote!
Though Drogons egg was dark red til black and not bright red! That’s a very important detail!!!

  61. My favorite mother in Game of Thrones is Talisa Maegyr. Love Oona Chaplin, she is gorgeous. I know she technically didn’t make it to full blown motherhood, but still.

  62. Daenerys is my favorite character and favorite mother! Her babies might be dragons, but still! Her son might have died, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t a mother to him either. Not to mention /Mhysa./

  63. Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, the Unburnt, the First of Her Name, Queen of Meereen, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynars and the First men … Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons. The only true Queen, long may she reign.

  64. Everyone love Daenerys… but for my favorite mother…. Olenna Tyrell – Queen of Thorns. She will do anything needed to help her granddaughter rise to the top… and her revenge will know no bounds.

  65. My favourite Mother is …. Daenyrs Stormborn (Mother of Dragons).
A close second is Olenna Of House Tyrell.

  66. I will give Gillie a mention – she had such a hard time of it and even after she’s met Sam it hasn’t been all plain sailing. With Caitlyn second though she has to lose a few points for how she treated Jon – I don’t hate her for that like some do but she didn’t have to make it so blatantly obvious how she felt about him.

  67. Lyanna Stark… she did right by Jon. Sam’s mum as well, she was lovely to Gilly and baby Sam. I am giving a shout out for second place. Someone at work threw my letter opener away so Longclaw would be great. I can shout KitN every time I use it!

  68. Holy mother of dragons Awesome giveaway! Imo,Lady Stark was a pretty good mother, she did a fine job raising her kids, before things started falling apart. & Dany is a cool mom too.

  69. Without a shred of doubt:
MELESSA TARLY, as the truly caring (and for Westeros relatively sane) mother she is! ..Hoping she will take home the second prize letter opener for me!

  70. Lady motherf*cking Olenna, Mother of mothers, slayers of little shitty kings. Also she could be a great stand-up comedian, would totally watch her show!

  71. My favorite mother on Game of Thrones is Olena Tyrell because she`s doing her very best to save their house and she looks badass especially when she confronted the 3 Dornish girls.

  72. My favorite mother on the show is Gilly. Haven’t seen many mention her. She loves and cares for her baby even though it is not technically hers… She has survived such hardships and is still able to love.

  73. Khaleesi ??! We named our kitten Khaleesi? Prize 1&2 could have a spot in our China cabinet and the coloring book would be awesome as well, I color for therapy for anxiety, depression from chronic pain from 5 major back surgeries. It help me focus on something other than pain. Thanks!???

  74. My favorite mother on the show is Sam Tarly. She takes good care of that little baby.

Please pick me, I want to win any of these 3 prizes!!!!

  75. I don’t really think there are any good mothers on this show, however there are several mothers that do their best and go to some crazy lengths for their children.

  76. No one on this show is ‘perfect’ (kinda the point), so that includes to mothers, but who is the best? hmm… as I skim over all these comments, these seems to be the most popular choices, sorry if I’m about to seem critical, but this is rather fun and I’m felling snarky…

Lyanna Stark – really? she basically gave birth, if Ned hadn’t been there, what else could she have done? She was lucky Ned arrived in time to find and raise her child, and given Ned’s character I’m sure he would have raised and protect Jon even without ‘promise me Ned’.

Melissa Tarly – why? She was nice to Sam and Gilly when they arrived… sorry, too little, too late for me – she is a weak woman, she was powerless (did she even try?) against her husband and it got Sam disown and banished to what basically amounts to a lifetime prison sentence. Did she ever send letters to care packages? No. She was happy to see him, but hardly overwhelmed with emotion or concern… if anything, I fell sorry for her, next

Gilly – granted is a good mother, but I would argue that she has done what all the mothers (at least in this show) have done: care and protect their infant child. I’m sure if we could see Cersei or Catelyn during their kids infant years they would be and act the same. So good, above average – love that fact that she is improving herself, but so far she has been lucky and hasn’t really done anything above what any natural mother would do – in a show like this, I guess that makes her the best, kinda?

Cersei – ahh, so many try and defend Cersei because she loves her children… but I would argue the point: does she love them for themselves, or how they are an extension of herself. Cersei loves her children, but she also wants them to be extensions of herself, things she can control – she wants all their love. She often call them her children, never allowing Robert or even Jamie to have any important roles in their lives. She raised Joffrey to be the type of ruler she wanted to be, but failed to realize his true nature, Marcella, she loved- but seems to have had taken little notice, or had little impact on (otherwise we would have seen Cersei v2.0 in Marcella), why, because she was the girl? Then there is poor Tommen – her terrible motherly actions there were the worst – she only care about having control of Tommen wanting him to be what she wanted him to be, never seeing him for who he was, or what made him happy. Again, she want to be the only one that he could turn to or influence him. Cersei loved her children, but not more than herself. IMHO. Love the character, but mother of the year – she is not.

  77. continued…

Daenerys – So much of the support for Dany seems to be the fact that she has (cool) dragons, and not really how she ‘mothered’ them. It is hard to critique Dany mainly because her ‘babies’ are animals – so the criteria is different. But much of the disappointment and criticism raised against Dany over the years has been how she has often neglected and failed to train her dragons, especially as they grow older and larger. To the point where she literally has to chain and whip them in order to control them… Much of her control seems more magical bonding than any direct actions she has done to communicate or train them… Do they know any commands other than Dracarys? Even the Stark children taught their direwolves to ‘come to me’ as a command to stand down from an attack. Dany has really only taught them to attack. Hopefully they will explain something about this next season, or there are going to be a lot more roasted people stories traveling around Westeros.

Olena Tyrell – Olena is also tough because we really don’t get much to work with – there is more than being witty and smart. But the main flaw with the Tyrells, and I would assume this came from Olenna herself, is their ambition. She obviously failed to make something of her only son, Mace – he seemed to take after his father too much as all her efforts were wasted. So, we assume she moved on to the grandchildren. Loras was strong in body but also weak in mind (a Tyrell male trait?), we see this early on as his ambition for glory and power, lead him to convince Renly to make a play on the throne. Ambition lead Margery to marry 3 times just for power and position. Maybe if she cared more about them being happy and content (they were already the richest, most comfortable of all the noble families), than status and power – they would still be living in Highgarden. Their ambition for power, status and respect led to to death of the entire family – that all lies at Olenna feet.

Catelyn Stark – Catelyn herself has been criticized a lot for not being a good mother, she should has stayed at Winterfell with her youngest kids, she didn’t care about Jon, she interfered to much, being ones that I’ve read a lot over the years, but I find Catelyn to be a typical example of a woman doing her best to raise her kids the ‘right’ way for her times, but those times are changing or no longer exist. She is like your grandparent who still thinks the old ways are the best ways (and they are not always wrong :), maybe given time they learn to adapt and even accept change, but it is hard for them. I could write a lot about Catelyn and motherhood (Cersei too in fact) as they are the 2 most prominent examples of motherhood in the show, regardless of Dany’s Mother of Dragons title, but I’ll just highlight a few. She always wanted what was best and right for her children, all of her children were taught how to love, to think, be generous, be kind, have courage, be tough, and be practical – all to various degrees, of course. All of her kids had a good foundation that allowed most of them to survive on wits alone. As for Jon, prejudice and superstition play a big part (again, the old ways), she never accepted him, and though she never mothered him or gave affection – she never toyed with him either – he knew where he stood with her. Also, to her credit, she never interfered with either Ned or her children from having good relationships with Jon. It is clear that all the kid (save Rickon) understood how their mother felt, but that never stopped them from loving her or Jon. Even Sansa, who was the most distant from Jon, doesn’t hate or mistrust Jon. All in all, not a bad mother, just not one with the foresight to raise her kids for a world she could never have anticipated.

  78. I think Cat Stark is the best mother on the show. She adores and will do anything for her kids and even saved poor Jon Snow (out of remorse, yes, and she could not love him afterwards, but she saved his life from illness).

  79. Catelyn Stark is my favorite mother in the series (And a very underrated character imo).

  80. Llyana. Her last breath was to save her son. And she was a strong independent woman.

  81. As a mother of 3 dragons myself, I wholheartedly agree and will call it Mother of Dragons day henceforth. While the statue would be an amazing prize, I would LOVE to win the valyrian steel sword. Jon Snow is my king and I would love a replica of his sword. I would use it to defend myself against the evil that often comes across my desk. The King in the North!!

  82. viki,

Well she has also taught them other commands as well ..
We have seen her make them fly in two scenes in mhysa and in daznak pit..
People have been saying she neglected in teaching them but if you look at it carefully she never really forget the danger they may bring and constantly worries how to keep them under control when they are larger ..
Dragons in the past or now Dany’s have never shown any interest in humans as a diet and I don’t think it going to change.

Other than that I agree with what you said …Lol at lyanna stark being named I guess its understandable..
The only three characters attributed to the mother role in the series is cat dany and cersei..out of these I will choose dany and cat ..

Cat is the mother who did everything for her children and her treatment of Jon is how a normal wife and mother who fears for her children will behave ..
Now every mother will love her children whether they are good or bad ..sometimes the children may be wild animals like dragons ..but the love will be same
Dany on the other hand is a 13 year old girl who is seen as the mother figure by millions of people ..imagine the weight on her shoulders to care for them and do right by them ..

So yes my vote is for Daenerys and Catelyn

  83. Gilly. She stands up for Sam against Sam’s own father as well as protecting her child

  84. My favourite mother has to be Cersei.

Seeing characters suffer makes us like them more, and wishing they get payback.

  85. The best mom on game of thrones is Gilly because she had a perpetual newborn for roughly 3 years.

That’s the worst stage of babyhood, and she rocked it. In the cold. And baby Sam is an incestual rape baby.

    #gnarlmotherhood

  86. Daenerys is my favorite mother on game of thrones! ? It is because she’s the hottest mother of dragons! ??

  87. My breakdowns of the choices:

Daenerys: Everyone is saying Daenerys is the best mother simply because she has dragons. She has the “cool” and “hip” factor, so I guess that works for a lot of people. Whatever. It’s a light-hearted article, so who really cares. But didn’t she lock two of them up in a basement for an extended period of time because she couldn’t control them? I can’t see how that makes her the best mother. Doesn’t make her the worst, but certainly doesn’t make her the best either.

Cersei: Really? How is she a good mother? If she was a good mother then she wouldn’t have let Joffrey turn into a disrespectful monster, and would have found time to mentor Tommen on becoming a better ruler. Obviously she didnt care enough about Tommen to do so. And how about her reaction to seeing Tommen’s corpse?
She didn’t give any fucks at all. She only gives a shit about her children because they belong to her. They are her possessions. She doesn’t care about them as actual human beings.

Olenna: I don’t think she’s a bad mother, but on the other hand, I’m not sure what exactly makes her a good mother either. Didn’t she refer to her son as an oaf all the time? Would you be ok if your own mother referred to you as an oaf to everyone?

Lyanna: Ok, so she died giving birth to Jon. It’s not like she had a choice. It happened to a lot of women back then, and still happens today, just not as much. I think she’s a good mom for protecting Jon, but really, Ned should get the credit for that, not Lyanna. Ned is the one who had to make the difficult choices and sacrifices to keep Jon alive.

Catelyn: She gets extra points from people because everyone loves the Starks and she’s the Stark mom. I don’t think she was a bad mom at all, but I think there’s room for criticism. She brought her children to King’s Landing without training them or preparing them for the lying and deceit that King’s Landing is famous for. She also wished Jon Snow to die. Understandable given the circumstances, but Catelyn knew it was the wrong thing to do and tried to make amends for it. Again, not a bad mom at all, but definitely room for criticism.

Gilly: To me, it’s the easiest to make the case for her as the best mother on Game of Thrones because she puts her son FIRST ALWAYS. Every decision she makes is about the welfare of her child. She never puts herself first or anyone else ahead of her child’s well-being.

That’s just my two cents. Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion.

  88. Oh, my favorite mother is Daenerys, Mother of Dragons, Bride of Fire, mostly because her children are amazingly cute dragons who will not stop growing, but Dany will always see them as cute little dracarys babies!

  89. As someone else also mentioned, Karsi is a really good one! Us moms really do sacrifice a lot for our kids. One for me is having to unplug from the world when new episodes of GOT air until my kids go to sleep when I can finally watch it 🙂

  90. I’m actually going to go with Cersei. She’s a crazy bitch in many many ways, but she does love her kids. Perhaps too much. But she’s a fierce mama lion.

  91. I love Caitlyn Stark. She age everything for her children, up to dying for them!

  92. That is so cool. I won’t win but I’ll be rooting for you all! 🙂 And it’s mother of dragons!

  93. Favorite mother: of course:

Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons

  94. my favorite mother on game of thrones has to be Catelyn, because whatever her faults may have been, her first priority was always her children and she would have done anything in her power to get them all back & keep them safe

  95. As a character, I’ll say Olenna Tyrell, even if her son Mace was a bore. She’s been my favorite female character, and her granddaughter Margaery was second, as well as
the character I’ve thought most fit for the Throne. Olenna was a good teacher.
As a rooting interest, Daenerys, because three of my four favorite characters (Jorah, Tyion and Varys) work for her. And because dragons are cool.
But Catelyn Stark is the mother I’d most like to have. Assuming I am her own child, and not a foster child or bastard of her husband’s.

  96. My favorite Game of Thrones Momma has to be our Mysa, the Mother of Dragons, Danaerys Targaryen!

  97. Karsi – smart, decisive, fierce, and loyal to her people and children. Such a short time on screen, but she made a huge impact. She was our emotional connection to those lost at Hardhome. Damn you Night King!!
