A new trailer is here, just a few days from the premiere! Well, not quite a trailer, but a 50 second promo. Still, it’s an impactful one, with lots of new footage and action!

Of course, as Game of Thrones fans most of us are here for the political intrigue, the complex characters, the twists, and the fantastic world Martin created, all of which House of the Dragon will seemingly deliver… but action scenes are part of it too!

The tourney shot gets me jazzed for some reason. Maybe it’s all those sigils!

It is a pretty shot. Kinda makes the KL tourneys 200 years later look pale in comparison.
I’m so looking forward to this show. I actually have hard time to believe it’s only 4 days away.
I’m guessing the real reason is budget, but it raises the question of why Robert’s tourney in honor of Ned was out in some random field with like three rows of bleachers and 80 people watching. This is in a proper stadium. Is it just show budget or Robert’s budget, though? In-story, they did make a point of saying how broke the crown was at that point. This is supposed to be the peak of Targaryen ascendance, so not quite broke.
