Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 2 Preview: Home

1

“The gods spill more blood than the rest of us combined.”

The official synopsis:

Bran trains with the Three-Eyed Raven. In King’s Landing, Jaime advises Tommen. Tyrion demands good news, but has to make his own. At Castle Black, the Night’s Watch stands behind Thorne. Ramsay Bolton proposes a plan, and Balon Greyjoy entertains other proposals.

Have a look at the official episode photos here.

Directed by Jeremy Podeswa, “Home” marks Dave Hill’s second foray into writing for the show, having previously written season 5’s “Sons of the Harpy.”

Cian: This will be the first time we’ll have a new Bran scene since the season 4 finale. Apart from having a new haircut, the scenes involving him and the Three-Eyed Raven (now played by Max von Sydow) could be some of the highlights of the season. We’ll also be catching up with Sam and Gilly, and judging by the pictures linked above, we’ll be rejoining Balon Greyjoy and his fireplace again!

  1. I loved Dave Hill’s episode last season, in particular all the callbacks to the past, and now he’s writing an episode involving Bran’s visions of the past, so that fits nicely, doesn’t it?

  2. Tyrion makes his own good news. I’m very curious if and when his plans will include dragons….

  3. Can’t wait to see bran and blood raven and their visions a look into the past ..

Hope that shot of ships in stormy sea and euron on the bridge from trailer appears this episode..

    And about tyrion an dragons..
I think this scene will be an obligatory dragon scene and introducing them in this season and know how they are .
I dont think they will shoot fire at tyrion but they will make him afraid like what ghost did to him.

And if they get released I think they will go to drogon and together they will go to their mother at a certain moment of certain episode invoking a strong call back to how season 1 ended but now with dragons grown and dany experienced.

  4. Max von Sydow, in Game of Thrones, as the 3-Eyed Raven….

GOLD! AMAZINGNESS ALL OVER MY FACE!!!!!!!

  5. It would be funny if the next shot after the shot in the trailer of Tyrion facing the dragons turns out to be Tyrion being like “Yeah, this was a really dumb idea” and hightailing it out of there.

  6. Brandonvisions and Ramsay heading to the Wall. Bwhahahahaha, he is in for some unpleasant surprises.

  7. Sue I would like to make a suggestion since we do all the round ups for recaps both written and videos and twitter ..

How about a thread for all the reactions videos round up ….it would be nice to see all in one place and we may get some reactions that we didn’t see before

  8. The fight between Thorne and company vs. Davos, Edd, GHOST of course, the guys loyalists to Jon and the Wildlings is going to be so awesome!! can´t wait.

  9. Wait, we’re getting Sam and Gilly this ep too? I hadn’t seen them in any of the preview stuff so I figured we were going to have to wait until episode 3 for them.

  10. Didn’t we get that preview last Sunday after the premiere? Is that synopsis new or am i missing something?

  11. Afeastfordances:
Wait, we’re getting Sam and Gilly this ep too? I hadn’t seen them in any of the preview stuff so I figured we were going to have to wait until episode 3 for them.

    I think that’s wrong… I think we’ll catch up with them in episode 3, not 2.

  12. Florian,

Comme quoi ça prouve que la série est devenu un phénomène même en France 🙂
    Profitez-en pour en ramener d’autres 🙂

    Vivement Lundi pour nous…

  13. It looks like there will be eight storylines this episode:

    1. Braavos (Arya gets beat up some more)
    2. Pyke (Balon gives Yara the gears)
    3. Wall (Thorne and co. bust down the door)
    4. Winterfell (Ramsay tries to sell Roose on a plan to attack Castle Black)
    5. King’s Landing (Cersei wants to see her son, Jaime advises Tommen and tries to intimidate the High Sparrow)
    6. North (Sansa asks Brienne about Arya)
    7. Beyond the Wall (Bran sees young Ned and co. in a vision)
    8. Meereen (Tyrion has a pow wow with Missandei and company, goes down to see the dragons)

  14. Ravyn:
Best part: Looks like no Dorne!

hahaha, right? Lets hope they keep the Dorne “plot” to a minimum this season.

  15. Besides Bran and the Wall, I am looking forward to Sansa finding out that Arya is alive.

  16. Bodog,

  17. btw, which are your reunion predictions for this season?

    I´m going with..

in the north: Jon, Sansa (totally going to happen) and Rickon (hoping in good health.. yes, I´m looking at you Ramsay). I´m truly in hype for the idea of seeing Ghost and Shaggydog together.

Riverlands: Arya, Nymeria, the Brotherhood without banners, Thoros of course,

LADY STONEHEART/Catelyn (yep, totally believe is going to happen this season),

Walder Frey (who is going to shit his pants), Blackfish and Brienne w/ god Podrick.

Meereen: Dany with the crew of course, and Theon and Tyrion (yes, you read it well hahaha, technically they meet in Season 1, not face to face but they were there) cuz the Greyjoys are going to Essos totally this season.

  18. I’m excited about everything in this episode, Jaime and High Sparrow interraction, the return of the Iron Islands, Sansa and Brienne talking about Arya, the Winterfell flashback, Tyrion paying a visit to the Dragons and of course more Ghost action !!!

  19. Regarding the Greyjoys:

I’m guessing Theon decides to head “home” this episode, for whatever reason (that’s going to take a lot of unspoiled viewers by surprise, from what I’ve seen, after all the emphasis on the Starks as being Theon’s true allegiance, particularly last year), and then we get the Yara scenes ending with Balon’s death, which will make the audience wonder what Theon is unknowingly getting himself into.

This is something I’ve talked about for a while, but I hope Bran’s reintroduction is suitably compelling. He really can’t afford a slow start after being absent so long (and with his story having lost so much momentum prior).

  20. Deesensfan,

Yes me too sad we are not getting dany ..

I think there should be more time spent with dany and dosh khaleen and how she starts gathering the young widows to her side and rise above the dothraki’s ..and getting afraid it will be rushed .
Considering how they carried dany in season 3 iam confident they can deliver best than that .

  21. I am SO HYPED about Sansa and Brienne talking about Arya. Just like Sam and Jon talking about Bran, and lil Hot Pie talking about Arya to Pod and Bri. It’s like the closest any of them have been to each other in years, all in mere spoken word. What a sad f*cking sentence.

  22. On regards to the titles maybe they should have named the episode of Jon getting stabbed or the episode he returns as “Red JON” .

Any mentalist fans out there .

  23. I hope the episode doesn’t end with a cliffhanger of Rhaegal going to burn Tyrion and then cut to credits.

  24. Deesensfan:
    Lyanna_Targaryen,

    This x 1000

Or when theon told sansa about her brothers. those lines give me chills.

I remember the times when Bran saw Jon fighting the mutineers at Craster’s keep in Season 4, HE WAS RIGHT THERE!! And Arya at the Eyrie and didn’t end up going and Sansa was STILL THERE!!!!! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  25. Jack Bauer 24,

Am pretty sure they won’t end the episode with tyrion and meereen and even if they did am sure they won’t do any cliffhanger like that..
With that said is that shot of dragons breathing fire a new one.

I thought it was from season 5 if that’s the case why include them in preview

  26. Let me try to guess the events In order….starting with the first scene …After the title sequence

    1) opens with the wall again ….This time throne and Co. have lost their patience and throne gives some sorta speech and everyone is like …alrite let’s kill people who are protecting jon’s body …

    2) we will see bran at winterfell ,….and blood raven will give him a little lecture on his powers ….

    3) then we head to Boltons where Ramsey will be meeting some northern Lords with Roose and planning to unite north …incase someone attacks …

    4) we will then head to mereen ….where we will see tyrion has called some masters and tyrion to find who is behind harpy and that attack on dany’s ship …and that scene from the trailer. ..where he walks down the stairs

    5) we will then go to kings landing where Jamie talks to tommen

    6) then we see sansa ..talking to brienne. ..
where th conversation ends with arya and we will see

    7) arya doing better this time against waif

    8) back to winterfell where ..Ramsey and Roose discuss something again …and this time it ends with theon

    9) we see the Pyke where balon is talking to yara probably about theon …..it ends with some sorta disagreement

    10) we will be back to mereen where tyrion will have that discussion about dragons not doing well in captivity …I don’t think he will visit dragons this episode

    and

    11) finally back at the wall we will have that epic showdown ….I think it will take good 10 minutes ….or so ….

I would love to hear other opinions on this matter

  27. I am so excited for the return of Bran. I know

Tower of Joy isn’t for some time, but I hope some other cool visions will be in store. We’re also reaching the point where in the books Arya wargs that cat, allowing her to fight blind. It would be really cool if a Bran warging scene transitioned into an Arya warging scene. It’s about damn time the other Starks got their powers. GRRM has said that all of them are wargs and I’m really hoping the show won’t leave that out.

They showed that shot in the trailer and for the episode 2 preview, so i think it is new even though it looks exactly like the shot from the Season 5 trailer minus Tyrion.

  29. Connor,

I know…. or Arya at the red wedding – that was like ACTUALLY the worst

I always thought that Bran and Jon have had a strong connection. i hope we will see more of that this season….
    – jon telling bran in season 1 while he was unconscious that they will go for a walk beyond the wall when he is better
    – then Bran being close to Jon in that tower thing.
    – Then sam telling Jon about Bran.
    – Then Bran seeing Jon at crasters..

this makes me sad :'( I just want one of them to reunite, even Jon and Sansa of course, I mean, even though we never saw them have a connection at all in the show, it will still make me smile like an idiot lol, because they both been through a lot and they are still family after all.

The preview shows him visiting the dragons…

  32. Jack Bauer 24,

I know but in trailer I assumed it was uses just to make the viewers anxious about the meeting but when they invluded in preview i believe it was a nice shot..

OMG while typing this comment a thought strike me

Tyrion demands good news but decides to make his own .

And we have tyrion coming down the steps in the throne room where masters are standing ..
What if they have tyrion threaten them by once again leading them to the dragon cells and eventually feeding one of them. .

Think about the reaction if that happens ..I can’t stop laughing at the thought of this . .I know its long shot but like my previous episode prediction with Mel I hope this also comes true ..

  33. Bran is in Winterfell isn’t? Not at Castle Back, because there is no stonewall at CB. It’s only made of wood.

  34. Connor,

I’ve seen some of Pilou Asbaek’s work in Borgias and Borgen, the man has talent. I’m sure he will get more recognition after this season like Pedro Pascal.

  35. Jack Bauer 24,

yea it does ….. but ………..This shot was used in a lot of trailers ..so maybe they are using it here to build hype. …but you are an expert on the show and usually right about things ……so yea it might happen ….,,but still you know something inside tells me this scene is episode 3….or 4

  36. All I know is Jon Snow needs to get moving again soon otherwise people will be able to smell him from a mile away…

  37. pras,

I don’t think there’ll be that kind of separation between 1 & 11. As of the end of 601, Thorne’s ultimatum has already expired, and I think the whole sequence will play out at the episode’s beginning.

  38. pras: Let me try to guess the events In order….starting with the first scene …After the title sequence

    1) opens with the wall again

Only proper way to open this episode is with

    Bran’s Winterfell flasbhack.

I can see it in front of me. It could be the perfect opening scene.

*cue GoT theme* Dun dun dudu dun dun dududun *cut to black* written by D&D, directed by whoever

    *silence*

*cue sounds of a lively city, blacksmith hammering, etc etc*

*open on wide shot of Winterfell in spring, cue that pointy end theme that everyone loves*

    *montage through daily Winterfell life*

    etc etc.

An excellent and well thought out conjecture. Nice job…

  40. Sansa will have power…and knowledge of her family.

She cant carry on the Stark family name but she can kick some ass…or lead some ass-kicking.

  41. Sean C.,

actually I thought of three possibilities to end the episode …based on how the show runners like to end with something big …

One of them was what I wrote …
second and third was what you are suggesting that the whole things will play out at once ….maybe at the start/middle or at the end …
If it is not the end then as jack said above …..it will probably end with tyrion meeting the dragon ….
I fail to see …Any event bigger than those two right now ….and I think they will close episode with one of those two …

  42. Deesensfan:
    Connor,

The clip. She says move out of my way, and the kingsgaurd says “Kings orders”

Was that the Kingsguard or just some random palace guards? In any event that one doing the talking looks like he’s shaking in his boots at Ser Robert Strong being there with Cersi. some good acting from that guy.

  43. Pounce,

we’re not going to see Oldtown before the second episode, they’re going to make a detour to Sam’s family/home and that’s where we’ll be introduced to Randyll.

all the actors that they have chosen for this serious scene, like I imagine, it’s promising.

    ???

Ontario french…(by which I mean very limited)

  44. Watchers of no Trailers:
All I know is Jon Snow needs to get moving again soon otherwise people will be able to smell him from a mile away…

OMG – the Fandom is on fire today – I’m literally rolling over laughing.

I love this website, thanks Watchers of no Trailers.

Of course we won’t see Oldtown before episode 2 because episode 2 is Sunday.

  46. Sean C.,

I think they kind of have to tie Theon back into Yara. Like he has to go back to her to try and make what he did at the Dreadfort right. He’s saved his adopted sister, and she’s safe with Brienne now, so now he has to help his blood sister, too. If they were holding this off another episode or two, I would think that it could be about him hearing the Kingsmoot, but if they’re doing it here in episode 2, then it’s probably just about Yara.

  47. Pounce,

I know right? Not only would it be great to open an episode with such a positive vibe, but it’d also be intruiging to casual viewers who don’t really know about stuff.

  48. Looking forward to Bran being back a LOT! 😀 And of course, Tyrion and the dragons! I so, so hope that Rhaegal and Viserion have a moment of recognition of something familiar…. in Tyrion. 😉

Where is SAM and Gilly? I hope he is in this episode too, even if it’s like a brief scene on the boat.

    Watchers of no Trailers:
All I know is Jon Snow needs to get moving again soon otherwise people will be able to smell him from a mile away…

😀 😀 😀 Best comment of the thread!

  49. Jack Bauer 24,

I hated Dorne but e1 turned it around for me. Now I don’t know WTF Is going to happen which is great!!!

Plus I Doran was pretty weak so Ellaria pretty much has a point. Even if a vicious murderous coup and killing two innocent kids isn’t exactly the option I’d commend… :p

  50. Jack Bauer 24,

Yeah, but that’s my very bad translation.

I thought Sansa might send Brienne on a Arya mission…the preview suggests that could happen.

  51. M:
It looks like there will be eight storylines this episode:

    1. Braavos (Arya gets beat up some more)
    2. Pyke (Balon gives Yara the gears)
    3. Wall (Thorne and co. bust down the door)
    4. Winterfell (Ramsay tries to sell Roose on a plan to attack Castle Black)
    5. King’s Landing (Cersei wants to see her son, Jaime advises Tommen and tries to intimidate the High Sparrow)
    6. North (Sansa asks Brienne about Arya)
    7. Beyond the Wall (Bran sees young Ned and co. in a vision)
    8. Meereen (Tyrion has a pow wow with Missandei and company, goes down to see the dragons)

That is not good. Again we get 5 min for each storyline per episode.

It waters down the momentum …

  52. Dragonmcmx,

Stellar, as always. The overall visual is striking, but when I look at the details of the poster for long enough, I almost always find something that I missed on the first look. Obviously my gaze was immediately drawn to the green viper’s eye amidst the shadows of Ellaria’s face, as I’m sure was the artist’s intention. But then I noticed the way that the outline of Doran’s chair and the dying Prince himself are woven into her dress, and how the curved wall joins with her silhoutte to form a snake’s tail. That tail seems to be curling around the city in the background. Is that King’s Landing or Sunspear? Either one would be appropriate. Either way, it’s in her coils now, and she’s ready to strike.

She looks like a twisted version of Medusa. If only her hair had formed had been shaped into the form of vipers as well to represent the Sand Snakes …

Nevertheless, I love it. Robert Ball and his work have been such gifts to the fandom these past few years.

  53. My thoughts for episode 2 – Events at Castle Black:

The Free Folks will Storm Castle Black, lead by Wun Wun who beats down the gate, right as Thorn and company breaks through the door where Jon’s body is being guarded. Ghost will kill the first person through that door. Most of the mutineers will get slaughtered, Olly and Thorn will survive, at least for the time being.

The released episode pictures are indeed of Edd and Thorn, who has his hands bound behind his back (look closely at that photo) are watching a funeral pyre of all the dead from the earlier battle, including Jon.

Cut to Episode 3 where Jon will be resurrected somehow. However this plays out on screen will be amazing because it’s Game Of Thrones which has a budget of $10 million per episode. This scene has to blow us away because the show runners know that it will be shown over and over again all over the world, even more so than the shot of Jon’s body lying dead in the snow.

Come folks, it would be really stupid to have this drag out over 4 or 5 episodes, I know it’s fantasy, but it’s not a cartoon.

  54. rhymeswithweak,

You almost got it right haha ^^
I said that we’re not going to see Oldtown until the second half of the season and the casting for Randyll Tarly was on point.

  55. Predictions:

THE WALL: Time runs out for Davos, but just as things look hopeless for the Jon Stalwarts, Tormund, Edd, and Wun Wun attack and overwhelm the Thorne Posse. Whether killed in action or executed thereafter, Thorne, Olly, Othell Yarwick, and Bowen Marsh are killed.

THE NORTH: Sansa and Brienne catch up on events since their last meeting. Brienne tells Sansa of her recent encounter with Arya, and a plan begins to form of sending Brienne south to find her. Brienne refuses to leave Sansa until she knows she is safe. Theon pledges himself to Sansa as well, and offers to return to the Iron Islands to confront his father and attempt to gain his support against the Boltons.

WINTERFELL: Ramsay and Roose confront the failure of Ramsay’s men to retake Sansa swiftly. He forms the plan to march north against Castle Black and rally Houses Umber and Karstark to their cause. Roose may suggest sending a letter instead…

BEYOND THE WALL: Bran and the Bloodraven see the past in Winterfell and other places, and Bran is tempted to leave the Weirwood to warn his remaining family of events to come. The Bloodraven explains that “the past is already written.”

IRON ISLANDS: Balon confronts Yara about her disobedience regarding the attempted rescue of Theon. Meanwhile, Euron arrives unexpectedly and meets his brother on a rope bridge in a storm.

KING’S LANDING: Cersei attempts to see her son, but Kevan is set against it. Ser Robert Strong might get his first crack at violence, but it could be early yet for that. Jaime confronts the High Sparrow in the Sept of Baelor, and speaks to Tommen in lieu of his mother. Tommen makes it clear that Margaery’s release is his highest priority.

BRAAVOS: Arya has her second whoopass at the hands of the Waif, but this time Jaqen intervenes to impress a point upon Arya. It may well be that she gets invited back to the House of Black and White.

MEEREEN: Tyrion has a meeting with Varys, Missandei, and Grey Worm about the situation in the city. He speaks of how dragons suffer when they are imprisoned, and likely will pay them a visit in this episode.

POSSIBLE DEATHS: Alliser Thorne, Olly, Othell Yarwick, Bowen Marsh, Balon Greyjoy.

  56. Dolorous Methuselah: Was that the Kingsguard or just some random palace guards? In any event that one doing the talking looks like he’s shaking in his boots at Ser Robert Strong being there with Cersi.some good acting from that guy.

Wait, those were Lannister soldiers, with the rip-off samurai helmets.

  57. Jared,

that’s Sunspear I believe..KL doesnt have any tall skinny towers like that..poster IS beautiful.. I love this guys work

  58. This i gonna be good. I just hope that the Wall part wont be stretched out over more episodes.

  59. Pounce,

That’s all the french I know, so I had to translate to english. Yeah I’m looking fwd to seeing Randall on screen, in the books he is a nice character and a big juxtaposition to Sam.

POSSIBLE DEATHS: Alliser Thorne, Olly, Othell Yarwick, Bowen Marsh, Balon Greyjoy.

    HYPE

  61. I am thinking that perhaps Tyrion will be having a dream. He’s not going to be able to avoid getting burnt and it is way too early for any sort of

    secret Targaryen reveal
  62. I am a little worried about Oldtown’s storyline, as we’ve never got any footage of it, nor shooting leaks that could have hinted it….
Maybe Sam will only get there in the beginning of season 7, as season 6 mainly focuses on Tarly’s family?

  63. pras:
Let me try to guess the events In order….starting with the first scene …After the title sequence

    1) opens with the wall again ….This time throne and Co.have lost their patience and throne gives some sorta speech and everyone is like …alrite let’s kill people who are protecting jon’s body …

    9) we see the Pyke where balon is talking to yaraprobably about theon …..it ends with some sorta disagreement

    10) we will be back to mereen where tyrion will have that discussion about dragons not doing well in captivity …I don’t think he will visit dragons this episode

    and

    11) finally back at the wall we will have that epic showdown ….I think it will take good 10 minutes ….or so ….

I would love to hear other opinions on this matter

    number 7
scene opens to a shot of a cat sitting on the low roof of a building overlooking the street of beggars (or whatever that street may be named).
camera angle switches to an overhead view of the same street, through the cat’s eyes. looking down, we see

blind Arya and her begging bowl sitting on the side of the street.

the waif approachs with her staffs. blind Arya whoops up on the waif. the waif is lying bleeding and unconscious on the ground.
blind Arya looks up and straight into the cat’s eyes and gives that wicked little smile of hers that says ‘yeah, i got this’.
cut to long shot of blind Arya watching the cat rise and leave the scene.

oh, i would soooooo love to see this happen.

I still don’t think we’ll see Oldtown this season. I don’t care that Horn Hill is landlocked. They could still just cut to it. Have the scene with Sam and Gilly on the ship and then next scene arriving at HH to meet the Tarly’s.

  65. pras,

Sounds right on the money to me. Even if this is not how the events unfold, it sure is a good lineup to keep me wondering for the next few days ?

The preview shows Tyrion visiting the dragons.

  67. Belacel,

D’ac, désolé, j’étais trop content de lire du français. 😉
Parce que nous c’est diffusé à 3h du mat’ le lundi.

  68. I don’t know why you all think that Olly will die. No one even knows that he was involved in Jons death

  69. Gd75,

They always center things around one of the main characters. So, unless the Tarleys are part of someone else’s storyline, they are going to Sam’s foils.

  70. Jack Bauer 24: I still don’t think we’ll see Oldtown this season. I don’t care that Horn Hill is landlocked. They could still just cut to it. Have the scene with Sam and Gilly on the ship and then next scene arriving at HH to meet the Tarly’s.

Hm… there are confirmed Oldtown scenes with Sam, Gilly and a maester, filmed in Girona. So… yeap.

  71. maybe aryas blindness is on purpose to bring on her warging ability and jaqen knew she had it all along

  72. jymion,

There is no reason why Jacquen would know that she has the ability to warg. Heck, he might not even know what warging is: insofar as we’ve seen, it is peculiar to the north of Westeros.

Moreover, if he or any of the other Faceless Men did know that, then they would not take Arya onboard: warging makes it that much more difficult to become “no-one.”

  73. Dragonmcmx,

I didn’t think of the scene that way first ….The way you say it will be really awesome …

    Tyrions Real Member,

I don’t really care about being right …..its just for fun ..you know …like you said ….to think about it for couple of days ….before episode 2….

    Jaynee D.,

hope it does happen ….I will be cheering for arya ….

  74. Wimsey: Moreover, if he or any of the other Faceless Men did know that, then they would not take Arya onboard: warging makes it that much more difficult to become “no-one.”

Exactly. It’s a link back to her heritage, to the Starks, to Nymeria, to her family, to everything Arya is. The Faceless Men wouldn’t want that at all.

  75. Episode 2 is called Homeward Bound not Home… That’s what it’s listed as on Sky Atlantic… Thoughts?

  76. LadySami: Episode 2 is called Homeward Bound not Home… That’s what it’s listed as on Sky Atlantic… Thoughts?

    That’s a mistake.

  77. Connor,

Everyone is down on the Dorne storyline.

I think that the snakes and mamma sand will be the end for tommen and/or Jaime as they continue to try and exact revenge and gain power.

  78. pras,

I like your thoughts here. I think the sand snakes continue to plot in kings landing, eventually taking out tommen and/or Jaime. Cercei needs to end up isolated and alone.

I also think Thorne and Co get into the room, with the wildings taking too long. They get jon’s body and prepare to burn it. Once the fire starts burning, Jon is reborn as Jon Targarian. Shereen’s death pays for his life, like Dany’s fire in season 1.

  79. trarecar,

I think Tyrian will get cornered in the dragon lair, as he is disoriented, and the dragons will beat him with fire. Maybe that’s how the episode ends. Only to eventually show that he is unharmed.

  80. The Tyrion getting burned stuff is total misdirection I bet he releases them somehow doubt he gets injured.

Logically when Thorne breaks down the door Davos and co are cornered so I’m thinking the wildlings get there just in time forcing the NW to surrender.

I also think Mel will bring back Jon at the end of this episode they’ll make it seem like her attempt failed but Jon will rise!

  81. The thing that have me worried about Tyrion is that we don’t see any more footage of him in any trailer, after that dragon scene… :/

The only images of him we have are all Ep1/Ep2

  82. Luka Nieto,

Oh! My bad then… that reassures me. You think about that line “We’re in the great game now” ?

Edit : Yeah, totally wrong… there’s a scene in a pyramid in the trailer with the masters.

  83. Gd75,

Also lots of filming pictures and behind the scenes footage show Peter Dinklage as Tyrion filming scenes as late in the season as episodes 8 and 9.

I think the “great game” line is Tyrion talking to Missandei and Grey Worm.

  84. Sean C.,

    Good guess.

I think the second to last scene will be Theon deciding to head home, and then cut to the Iron Islands for Balon and Yara and Euron sending Balon on a dive. Though I guess they’ll probably want the NW vs Wildlings to close the episode, so I don’t know…

Either way… this looks like Premiere 2.0, which isn’t bad. Gonna be a good one.

  85. The synopsis on my Foxtel here in Australia now just says “bran goes home and the nights watch stands behind Thorne”

  86. When Mel and Stannis threw leeches, he said usurper Robb,Balon,Joffrey, 2/3 died
    NOW EURON COMES AAAAND…

HE KILLS BALON, MEL MAGIC WORKS AGAIN, SHE GETS POWER AND RESSURECTS JON !!
  87. I reckon Euron will give his “Can a man fly?” speech to Balon while he slowly approaches him on the bridge, seems like the perfect time to do it.

Also Jack Bauer 24 will have a heart attack from hype when Euron gives his “Gods” speech at the

    King’s moot.
  88. Not gonna lie,the moment I’ll see Euron I’m gonna wake up the whole house with the chanting, maybe some neighbours too.The hype could not be higher.

  89. Bearded Onion: I reckon Euron will give his “Can a man fly?” speech to Balon while he slowly approaches him on the bridge, seems like the perfect time to do it.

Wasn’t that the one that sounded like bad heavy metal lyrics? I am not going to lie: I am very worried about the Iron Islands stuff. I am hoping that the Winter material is a lot better than the largely cut Crows & Dragons material.

  90. Brucey,

My cable company description says the Night’s Watch stands behind the throne not “stands behind Thorne”. (I guess it is a mistake??)

  91. My guess is Illirio Moppatis is the one who is behind the attacks to Meereen.
