For day 3 on our Dark Horse Giveaway Week, we’re featuring the clan people love to hate or hate to love, I’m never sure which: House Lannister.

The prizes offered today feature the lion rampant sigil and their motto of Hear Me Roar. Our grand prize winner will be taking home the Kingslayer, one of the newest figures in Dark Horse’s line of Game of Thrones collectibles.

Just a heads up that Thursday and Friday’s giveaway prize tiers will have a different format to keep things interesting. Tomorrow we’ll be featuring one character in particular, and on Friday we’re throwing a giveaway bash for several houses, with loads of prizes. So be sure to enter every day this week!

Lannister Prizes

Casterly Rock Grand Prize Winner package: Jaime Lannister Figure, Lannister Coffee Mug, Lannister Pint Glass and Lannister Sigil Embroidered Patch.
2nd place: 2 winners will each receive a Lannister Pint Glass, Lannister Coffee Mug and Lannister Sigil Patch package.
3rd place: 3 winners will receive a Lannister Coffee Mug and a Lannister Patch.
Additionally, four more winners will receive a House Lannister Sigil Embroidered Patch!

The Rules
1. The giveaway is open to USA residents only.
2. To enter, leave a comment on this post before Thursday, December 11th at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Only one entry per person per day will be accepted.
3. The winners are selected by random number generator, and contacted via the email address entered when you submit your comment. Be sure to use a valid email address!
4. You have 48 hours to respond to the notification email. If you don’t respond to it within 48 hours, you forfeit the prize, and a new winner is drawn.

  25. Power hungry, well that doesn’t sum me up, but i’d argue it’s not the way of the Lannister either. It’s a means to an end, protecting family, legacy. I’m firmly on that side, do anything for the ones you love, even if it takes scheming oathbreaking and double crossing. And i’m not sure how the Lannisters manage it, but i suspect, somewhere beneath the surface, like me, it’s easy to pay your debts when you don’t leave any lying around. It’s almost a self help philosophy, rely on yourself, but the flip side of that is its all on your shoulders and you can tend towards self aggrandizing, it’s a hard line to walk and keep balanced.

    That said, I confess I don’t like the Lannister house words. “Hear Me Roar” sounds like a stupid college frat house slogan.

    Plus it reminds me too much of that annoying Katy Perry song “Roar”. 😛
