New York Comic Con is well underway, and, in addition to panels and photo ops with Game of Thrones stars like Kristian Nairn and Daniel Portman- there is also a veritable smorgasbord of new (super awesome) merchandise.

Watchers On The Wall was able to land a meeting with Dark Horse Comics, purveyors of some of the highest quality pieces of Thrones products available.

More information and exclusive pictures after the jump!

Kicking things off at the Dark Horse booth is an incredible statue of Brienne of Tarth. The picture below hardly does it justice. This thing is at least twelve inches tall and incredibly detailed. The price was listed as TBD, but the quality is worth whatever they wind up charging.

Brienne the Beauty, indeed.

Up next was a stunning bust of the Hound. Again, the detail was amazing- the facial sculpt, helmet, and sword are stunning and the paint job is spot-on.

On the left of Sandor is Dark Horse’s NYCC exclusive: Stannis Baratheon’s sigil. It’s a pretty nifty little piece, and available only at the Con or via the HBOshop website. Picture via HBO below.

But the real stars of the show were Dark Horses’s three new figures, starting off with Petyr Baelish who, our Dark Horse rep told us, was just approved for show last night.

Littlefinger is a great piece- it really captures Aidan Gillen’s interpretation of the character.

The second new figure(s) features Bran Stark on the back of Hodor.

This. thing. is. FABULOUS. Tons of detail with facial sculpts and paint, and it looks great from just about any angle. And, at $39.99, this piece will be a steal when it comes out next April or May.47

And, finally, we have King Joffrey in his wedding finest. This is another super-detailed piece that captures Jack Gleeson‘s smug smile perfectly. And, the addition of the wine goblet reminds you that he doesn’t have much longer in this world.56           PA090130

Definitely worth checking out if you’re in town for the Con! Dark Horse is booth 1636, and NYCC runs through this Sunday, October 12.

Of course, if you’re not able to make it to New York to get your Game of Thrones swag fix, you can find all of this on HBOshop’s New York Comic Con page.

  1. Hodor!

I effing love the Brienne figure, just WOW! And the detail on Bran and Hodor is fantastic. Awesome pics you all….hope you’re having fun there in NYC.

  2. Bex,

I know! I wonder how much they’ll be asking for the Brienne figure….I know my sig other would not be very happy if I bought it. Besides, where would I put it so that the kids wouldn’t mess with it? In a different life where I had no kids and disposable income I would definitely consider it. 🙂

  3. Pablo Meireles:
Dark Horse is not Hot Toys. However that’s the best we’ve got.

Have you seen threeZero’s 1/6 scale Ned Stark and Tyrion Lannister? That’s much closer to Hot Toys than this stuff.

  4. Ok I have to buy Hodor and Bran. I know a special education teacher and a GOT fan who would so appreciate that on so many levels (might just get one for me as well)
