Win the Game of Thrones Violence is a Disease Puzzle!

Beautiful Death The Broken Man puzzle

One of the most exciting Game of Thrones announcements from HBO this summer was the arrival of the Beautiful Death puzzles, based on the popular pieces of art created for the show by artist Robert M. Ball and displayed at BeautifulDeath.com. Every week, the show’s iconic death scenes are recreated through Ball’s art and now some of his most gorgeous pieces have been transformed into 1000-piece jigsaw puzzles. We’re thrilled to announce that this week, we’re giving away one of our favorites from the new line- Violence is a Disease, with art inspired by season 6’s “The Broken Man,” featuring the return of the Hound!

As for the prize, the Beautiful Death puzzles measure 19 by 27 inches. This particular puzzle pays tribute to the Hound’s return to the story, after the death of Brother Ray, who spoke to Sandor Clegane about embracing a more peaceful life. That didn’t work out, but he’s on a new path nonetheless.

The Violence is a Disease puzzle is available now! This giveaway is worldwide, so WatchersOnTheWall readers around the world are welcome to join in and enter to win.

  1. The poster for ‘Baelor’ is always going to take the cake for me, to be honest. It’s just brilliant.

  2. It’s a hard choice between “I am Your Son. I Have Always Been Your Son” and “Hold the Door,” but I think it has to be “Hold the Door.”

  3. I’d totally love this!! I love puzzles and the beautiful death series is just amazing
“The long night is coming and the dead come with it” is my phone screensaver.

  4. “The lone wolf dies but the pack survives”, from S7E7 ! It was a great episode and it depicts what happened in it. I am goin to miss littlefinger.. somehow..

  5. Favorite – from an artistic standpoint:

S6e9: Silhouette of Sansa, with the words, “Your Name Will Dissppear.”

Now, for once, I wish the Lord of Light 🔥would answer my prayers and let me win something. 😡

  6. Please don’t enter my name in your contest for this hideous jigsaw puzzle. Thanks in advance.

    😉

  7. These posters have really all been amazing, coinciding with my favourite episode ‘Hardhome’ the art of “The long night is coming and the dead come with it.” Is defiantly one of my favourites
    Valar Morghulis

  8. Misc. comment:

The puzzle’s illustration for S6e7 would’ve been more appropriate to Sandor’s character if the caption read:

    “Violence is a C*nt.”

  9. i had never seen these before, they’re quite stunning. my favorites are “ser ilyn, bring me his head” and “long may she reign”, but i’ll probably change my mind if i go through them again…

  10. My favorite is the drawing from Season 4, Episode 10. Even a small man casts a large shadow.

Honestly though, they are all terrific.

  11. Yaaaaaas! I’m hoping to collect all 6. Getting one free might help. Plus, I love this one. Mine mine mine

  12. JC:
I like the one referencing the Destruction of the Great Sept of Baelor (Cersei’s gown, skulls and wildfire).

That’s the “Long May She Reign” poster for S6e10, right? If so, a picture puzzle is available on the HBO Store website.

They also have some interesting new products, eg, Stark/Targ sigil mash-up tee shirts, Winter Came for House Frey hoodies, and Dracarys! mugs.

  13. María Belén,

They also have a (new) Lyanna Mormont knitting tote bag and tee shirt with the quote:

“I Don’t Plan on Knitting By the Fire While Men Fight for Me.”

    [Suck on that, Lord Glover]

  14. I love these pictures and already decorated my room with every single picture of Robert Ball. I would really love to also have one of his Beautiful Death pictures as a puzzle <3

  15. I would LOVE this, I have a House Clegane collection and am always looking to add new things to it, I have the Clegane beautiful death cards including this one, probably my fave as it means the return of my fave character!

  16. My favourite poster was the one made for the Queen of Thorns, Olenna Tyrell. Would be awesome if I’d win that puzzle 🙂

  17. Oooh, my favourite is definitely the S05E10 one – “Go on, do your duty”! The end of the Baratheons was such a great tragedy, and the symbolism with the three deer are so beautiful. I feel like they capture the family stripped of their power, at those times when Stannis and Selyse actually came across as human and feeling.

  18. I wish I could take it back. I wish we would never gone. Season 7 episode 6. Death of Viserion, the saddest death in Season 7

  19. The poster for the finale of season 6, “Long May She Reign” is definitely my favourite. The colours of the red at the top and the green at the bottom stand out so well and really highlight the violence of the episode.

  20. My favorite Beautiful Death poster was ‘A Crown for a King’ , Viserys’ Death (tough one to answer 😀 )

  21. My favourite is you are not going to serve, you are going to die because that scene is awesome and Daenerys always find a way out of trouble

  22. Such a hard choice. “Long May She Reign” has to be my favorite, but “I wish I Could Take It Back” is a close second.

  23. Oh, this is beautiful. Wouldn’t it be awesome if they did more of the Beautiful Death posters as puzzles? You could decorate an entire room with them – starting with this one. *makes grabby hands*

  24. I’ll pick two.
Go on, do your duty and Your name will disappear, with a mention to the Queen of Thorns’ beautiful colours.
And now, I’ll keep all my fingers crossed!

  25. They are all amazing it’s so hard to pick a favorite. I have to pick two
“you hear them boy? The old gods are answering you. ”
And “tell Cersei. I want her to know it was me”

  26. As I can’t name my favourite GOT character, I can’t pick one Beautiful Death poster as the one I prefer. I’m torn between Ned’s execution, Tywin dead by crossbow, Bran killing Locke through Hodor, Joffrey and Olenna poisoned.
I pray to the Old Gods and the New to win the puzzle for the love of Houndie, his return made me so happy!

  27. “Tell Cersei. I want her to know it was me” is my favorite. It’s beautifully done – with the crown of thorns and the roses…gorgeous!

  28. They’re all so beautiful, I can’t pick a favourite. This one is gorgeous though, I’ll take it!

  29. I lied for you, I killed for you. Hold the door is a very close second. This puzzle contest is fun even though it’s about images of death.

  30. OF COURSE I WANT IT.

This IS actually one of my two or three favorite “Beautiful Death” posters, and not only because the Hound is one of my three favorite characters. I just love how the imagery was combined in it for a really beautiful (albeit bloody) effect.

  31. I am your son I have always been your son is my favorite but I got the You Know Nothing Jon Snow one at the Imax a couple of years back and I love that one too.

  32. Hmm, it wasn’t that easy to select one out of 20 or so that I really like, they’re all so different.
    1. “All cannot die in glory” (Kill the Boy, S5E05) – this one takes the crown, it’s simply gorgeous!
    2. “Dracarys” (And Now His Watch Is Ended, S03E4)
    3. “Your name will disappear” (The Battle of the Bastards, S6E09)
    4. “You’re not going to serve, you’re going to die” (Book of the Stranger, S6E04)
    5. “What good is an empty cup?” (The Lion and the Rose, S4E02)

  33. I am addicted to jigsaw puzzles and, of course, GoT. So winning this would be insanely awesome! My favorite is probably the one from s7e3 “Tell Cersei, I want her to know it was me”

  34. I love them all, but I have 2 favorites:
1×9 Ser Ilyn, bring me his head
    and
    3×6 Chaos isn’t a pit, chaos is a ladder

  35. Now I’m going to have to have every $&%#ing puzzle in this collection!

No, seriously! I glue puzzles together, frame them, and display them on my walls.
