Everyone’s got a favorite in Game of Thrones– a noble House of Westeros, that is. Stark, Lannister, Targaryen, Tyrell, Bolton, Martell- there’s a flavor for everyone. Dark Horse Comics‘ new series covers all the Great Houses, with a collection of twelve individual sigil magnets. Each 2.25″ magnet bears the authentic Game of Thrones sigil, produced in full color and packaged individually. They’re all so pretty, it’s hard to choose.

Good thing the winner in this week’s giveaway won’t have to, because we’re offering up the entire collection of 12 Game of Thrones magnets for one lucky winner! For the next week, we’re accepting entries in this worldwide giveaway and at the end, we’ll choose one winner!

Entries are accepted for seven (7) days, closing the giveaway for entries on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 at 6PM ET. The winner will be randomly selected, and announced shortly thereafter next Thursday!

  59. House Stark, of course. Those I would actually use. Still have not touched the coloring book I won a couple of months ago. I don’t want to defile it. I know, sounds silly. But the prints look great in black and white.

  200. Always wondered which house sigil should represent which book in an eventual box set of all seven. Could never decide.

    Because it’s the house of the King in the North! and Princess Arya Stark of Winterfell.

    Next year Dark Horse Comics might want to update the magnet set to conform with the show: Maybe replace some of the now-extinct houses
    (Bolton, Martell, Baratheon, Baratheon of Dragonstone), with those that have risen in prominence like
    House Mormont (featuring Fierce Lady Lyanna and Ser FriendZone), and House Clegane (with the return of the Warrior of Light – I mean Sandor Clegane).
    Also, some house sigils could be revised for the sake of accuracy.

    After all….

    • House Bolton will disappear:

    “Your words will disappear. Your house will disappear. Your name will disappear. All memory of you will disappear.” -Sansa Stark, Lady of Winterfell, to Ramsay Bolton, right before he becomes puppy chow [S6e9].

    •. House Tyrell is dying off:

    “Cersei stole the future from me.” – Olenna Tyrell [S6e10], after the incineration of her son, grandson and granddaughter (?)

    • House Martell has been extinguished, thanks to the brilliant scheme to avenge the deaths of Elia and Oberyn Martell at the hands of the Lannisters by murdering….Oberyn’s brother Prince Doran Martell and his nephew Tristane Martell???
    Or at least change the Martell sunspear to a speared skull.

    • House Baratheon of Dragonstone is no more thanks to the clusterf-ck
    engineered by Melisandre (eg “let’s roast the Princess alive!”) who conveniently exited stage left just as Stannis marched off to his doom.

    • House Baratheon was extinguished once Robert, Renly and Stannis all died without leaving a legitimate heir; in any event, faux Baratheon Tommen removed any doubt with his suicide-by-swan dive in S6e10.

    • For historical accuracy, House Frey’s sigil should be changed to a giant rat with a chef’s hat (and blood spurting from exsanguination-by-throat-slashing).
    Alternatively, they should come out with a Walder Frey Pez dispenser.

    P.S. Tormund and the Free Folk deserve their own magnet. Maybe with a sigil of a baby seal?

    Good point. I forgot about House Seaworth. “It’s a rather new house.” But I’d certainly rather have the Onion Knight’s sigil on my fridge than the Freys or Boltons.

    And since these magnets are invariably used on refrigerators and freezers, it’d only be fitting that they come out with a Hot Pie magnet.

  226. As someone who identifies with both Doran an Oberyn, I´d love to get the bottom collection. Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken. I found my moto in that family, how I managed to face the hardhips of life. and being south american of Iberian and northern African ancestors, that is all so me…
    The Martells have never surrendered but managed to keep their sovereignty, inlike the other kingdoms, they had more respect for their women, more sexual and religious freedom, and valued merit, not just birth. That´s the kingdom I most identify with. I hope it is not erradicated, I hope a Martell survives and leads the house, or that Dorne still survives, rebuilds and thrives, more powerful than ever, for the sake of their smallpeople.

    — What are House Seaworth’s words? I know Davos chose an onion-themed sigil as a way to get the last laugh on snobs who mocked him as “the onion knight.” I don’t recall if he’s got a house motto.

    — House Clegane’s sigil needs an upgrade; three skinny dogs won’t do. And what are House Clegane’s words?
    “Think I’ll take two chickens”?
    “F-ck the King.” ?
    “F-ck it, I’m ready” ?

    What is honor compared to a woman’s love? What is duty against the feel of a newborn son in your arms … or the memory of a brother’s smile?

  293. Baratheon. It the closest house compared with my clan #Stag4TheWin and their story line is quite good and i wish i had picked baratheon on the game of trones ascent game on Facebook

  318. Since it’s so hard to find a favourite house I’ll just share my 3 personal favorites.
    House Lannister because of Tyrion.
    House Stark because Winter is here.
    House Targaeryn because Dracarys!

  331. House Martell is definitely my favorite! House Mormont is a runnerup, or perhaps equal, but they aren’t in this selection.

  353. My personal favorite is Petyr Baelish I am kinda upset there’s no magnet with the Mockingbird in this giveaway, though the bird is his personal sigil, not his house´s. Anyway, I love how the Starks struggle and managed to survive, so I have to say it is my House of choice. In time: how come there’s a House Frey magnet but not a Mockingbird? Who cares for the Twins?? lol
