Over the past decade, the BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Los Angeles Tea Party has become one of Hollywood’s biggest pre-Golden Globes events. Stars hobknob with one another at the elegant BAFTA teas, and of course they always turn up in style. This year’s tea party took place yesterday afternoon at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, and Game of Thrones was represented on the red carpet by two of its younger stars.
Maisie Williams wore a lovely gingham dress, and carried a conversation-piece clutch as usual.
Sophie Turner, still rocking the blonder locks, went with an edgier gold-and-silver metallic look.
Looks like Sophie was pretty excited, going by this vid shared by her stylist on Instagram before the party:

The Golden Globe Awards live ceremony is tonight at 8PM ET (5PM PT), on NBC, and will be emceed by Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. Game of Thrones is nominated in two categories, and we can expect to see some cast members on the red carpet later on.
In addition to competing for the Best Television Series – Drama prize, Lena Headey is nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a TV Series for her role as Cersei Lannister. Tune in tonight to root for Lena and Game of Thrones!
