The Spring is Here Giveaway, Featuring The Iron Throne!

It’s the first day of spring: time to celebrate the melting of the snow and the Game of Thrones summer ahead! We’re doing it Watchers-style, with the Spring is Here Giveaway!

This week, we’re giving away a beautiful piece that the denizens of Westeros themselves would approve of: the Iron Throne. Well, the crystal version! The 3D Crystal Iron Throne created by Dark Horse Comics is a unique collector’s item. The piece displays the image of the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms, laser-etched into a solid glass rectangular box measuring 5 x 5 x 8 cm. Below it, a hidden gold LED element illuminates the glass throne.

For the next week, we’re accepting entries in a worldwide giveaway and at the end, we’ll choose one lucky winner! To enter, all you need to do is leave a comment! (See below for more entry methods.)

Method #2: WotW Twitter: Follow our Twitter, WatchersOTWall, and retweet the Crystal Iron Throne tweet (you must do both for the extra entry). If you already follow us, no problem. Simply retweet the contest post.

Method #3: WotW Facebook: Like the WatchersontheWall Facebook page, and Like and Share the Crystal Iron Throne post (you must do both for the extra entry). If you already Like our page, again, no problem. Just share the contest post and you are entered!

Entries are accepted for seven days, closing the giveaway for entries on Monday, March 27th, 2017 at 3PM ET. The winner will be randomly selected and announced shortly thereafter on Monday.

**The contest is worldwide** The winner is selected from among entrants by random drawing. The winner may be responsible for local taxes and fees as applicable. The winner must respond within 72 hours of notification or will forfeit their prize and another winner will be selected. The winner must have a valid shipping address.

  69. I didn’t realise Spring started on different days in different parts of the world – it starts on 21st March here (UK) or it did when I was a kid – unless it’s been changed without my knowing!!! This iron throne does look good quality but I think I’ll have to be satisfied with King Joffers I won a couple of years ago (just under). He needs a dusting actually.

  124. Who will Arya see during her travels first? The Hound or Brienne of Tarth? and is the Hound still on Arya’s list or is Brienne of Tarth now on Arya’s list?

    Also in season 2 did Littlefinger know that Arya was in the same room serving Tywin Lannister and himself at Harrenhal?

    • I don’t think The Hound is still on Arya’s kill list. I believe Arya admitted to The Waif that she took him off the list, but I’ll check.

    • I’m 90% sure Arya will meet up with Sandor again.

    • It was never clear if LF regognized Arya as Tywin’s cupbearer at Harrenhall. For a second, it looked like she seemed familiar, but then he got distracted by Tywin.

    Good comments Ten Bears… I think I found the answer to my question. I just finishing watching Season 3 episode 1 there is a scene with Sansa and Shae sitting on a pier looking at boats. Littlefinger walks up with Ros and talks to Sansa in private. Littlefinger says “I saw your’ mother not long ago and she is very eager to see you… and your sister” Sansa say’s “Arya’s Alive”? Littlerfinger just looks away and changes the subject to getting Sansa out of King’s Landing. So I think Littlefinger did know that was Arya Stark at Harranhol… Littlefinger is always playing the Game… As Cersei says… “You play the Game or you Die”

    Game of Thrones Season 3 is brilliant. Another outstanding scene is when Tyrion went to Vary’s place to see if Vary’s knows if Sansa is the one who tried to have him killed at the battle of blackwater. Vary’s shows Tyrion what is in his box and says, “I have no doubt the revenge you want will be yours in time… if you have the stomach for it.” Varys must of known Tyrion would kill Tywin on the toilet. Vary’s wasn’t expecting Shae to be there too because when Vary’s saw Tyrion with a scratched face in season 4 episode 10 he says “What have you done”?… the GOT story is put together like a divine puzzle…. cheers

    Wow! Good spot in 3 x 1. I didn’t recall LF telling Sansa he’d seen Arya – or I must’ve assumed he was fibbing when he said it.

    If he knew Arya was Tywin’s cupbearer, that kind of begs the question why he didn’t give her up to Tywin, or scheme to take her for himself. Surely, having the missing Stark sister under his control would’ve been a potential “rung” for his climb up the laddah.
