My fav that I always watch every week is What the Flick.
Those guys are fun and their convo goes in all kinds of directions and they just let their thoughts flow out load, that’s why I like it so much.
It is a genuine unrehearsed show.
Yep that was last week’s Smoke Screen. But I’m just glad to see one of the re-capers that I enjoy the most made the list this week.
Of course having said that and having recommended him the last couple of weeks, I gotta say I’m not that crazy about the little reaction shots of him watching the episode that he’s been sprinkling in his reviews. They just don’t come across as organic. I’m so fickle I guess. But the reaction shots are a very minute part of his re-caps and I really enjoy rest of them.
Other than that one, I haven’t been able to watch as many re-caps as I usually do this week (yet). But Ozzy was spot on as always and I enjoyed What the Flick as well.

Loved What The Flick and also AfterBuzz this week. I watched and really enjoyed HappyCool too. I tried to watch GoT Academy but had to stop because of the Itamar guy. A tad too much for my taste.

I love Trixie so much. Her American Horror Story recaps this year with Edward Hansen on WOWPresents Youtube were much better than the actual season.

Can’t say I’ve ever known his speculations to be correct; I remember last year for months he was saying Hardhome was Eastwatch by the Sea and a slew of other things. He also mixes up lore sometimes and his analysis is pretty surface level.
Kind of unrelated question: hbo.com doesn’t really work the same at my place as it does in the states, and I couldn’t find it anywhere else, so can someone remind me of what the runtimes of the remaining episodes are? Thanks 🙂

I don’t get the love for AltXShift. 11 minutes of what we already know? I didn’t find it enlightening, amusing or entertaining. *shrugs* to each his/her own.
Happy Cool I want to like so much but it is just annoying. Sandrine’s voice is too fast and too high and drops out on about half her sentences. She was much better with Axey to bounce off of. Sorry Axey, I know you got the powerful loyalty goin’ there. But it ain’t the same without you.

Just so this won’t be completely off topic, I really enjoy Ozzy’s recaps, as well as the recap mentioned in the comment section that features a closer look at filming/staging choices and their significance.
Anywho, I’m excited to see that the last episode is 69 minutes long! I don’t think they’ve ever gone beyond 60, let alone 60. Later on, of course, it might be nice to have a speculation post on the run time of that episode.
Great stuff as usual! I really enjoyed What the Flick with the full panel, although Jon got a little too hung up on the books for my liking when they were talking about the Pink Letter (usually that’s not an issue for him. Hopefully it was a one-off). Excellent work from AfterBuzz TV as well, plus the professional presentations of Alt Shift X and some delightful enthusiasm from OzzyMan, who is back in fine form this year. I had grown a bit disillusioned with his disillusionment during the latter part of Season 5, but that’s all water under the bridge now.
I haven’t listened to this week’s Dem Thrones yet, but that’s been by far the best new discovery of the year. Those guys are awesome! So much fun.

With the exception of Season 1’s “Fire and Blood” (53 minutes), every season finale has extended beyond the hour mark. “Valar Morghulis”, the Season 2 finale, was 64 minutes. “Mhysa” was 63 minutes. “The Children” was 66 minutes – currently, that’s the record for the longest Game of Thrones episode ever. And “Mother’s Mercy” was 61 minutes. (All though to be fair, those episode runtimes include the opening and closing credits, so only a couple of them actually contained more than an hour of footage).
But yeah, Episode 6×10 is comfortably the longest episode of the series to date. I’m beyond excited – I think it’s going to be massive. I expect after the credits roll on that episode, very few people will be questioning why Benioff and Weiss believe that there are only 10-15 episodes left in the series. King’s Landing in ruins? Dany heading to Westeros? The Wall coming down? Hopefully all three!
Oh cool! I hadn’t realized there are episodes over 60 minutes. I always see people post about them having around 55 minutes or so, usually disappointed. We get 3 extra minutes from Season 4’s finale! That’s good!
I did. It was quite surprising to me. I thought that after the resurrection, Davos and Mel would stay glued to Jon’s side. But Jon is definitely no Stannis, he doesn’t seem to insta believe in Mel’s superpower. 😀

As usual, I loved Ozzy’s, WTF and AltShiftX. Usually check Emergency Awsome.
I recently discovered NewRockstars and like Phillip Molina’s review. He takes his time to look at small details that most recaps miss. He’s a book reader, but not a snobby one. He explains a lot of stuff, and really knows his GoT episodes from all seasons, making parallels between what happened with other characters or with the same character in other seasons.
Usually takes a week to work on each episode, so it comes out a week after the episode airs.

It’s not about opinion, it’s about the lack of quality and effort put into EA’s discussions. With the addition of clickbait and all round flawed logic, that makes him a pretty contemptible person. I don’t understand how people can overlook that. Regarding Preston, say what you like about his supposed “crazy” hypothesis, at least the bloke actually sites information from the book to back it up. You don’t have to bloody agree with him. This was never about opinion, I’m saying this outright, EA’s videos are low brow, and of poor quality when it comes to discussion. Again, this comes down to opinion. I don’t think prestons videos have quality at all. He embodies everything I dislike about the hardcore book-fandom, I strongly dislike his atitude..etc..
